    $ 2 per mac that is cheap. Here in Calif they can cost average$2.50 to $3.35 depending if you decorated them. I ordered red velvet mac with cream cheese buttercream it was very good better than I had at Laduree in Paris. It is worth it. These are not treated like choc chips cookies you gabble up. It has to eaten delicately and savor every small bite.

      Every time I see macarons here on the East Coast, they're $3-$4 each and when I ask when they baked them, they always say that they order them frozen. I've started making my own.

    Why do you need a stand mixer vs. a normal electric hand mixer?

    • @SweetDreamsBakeShoppe
      @SweetDreamsBakeShoppe  2 года назад +3

      It’s a little tricky to pour the sugar as the egg whites are whipping, plus it’s less “controlled” as with a hand mixer you can adjust what you’re doing whereas with a stand mixer it’s always going to mix the same way.

      For the $12 cupcake macarons would you still require a min. of 40?

    • @SweetDreamsBakeShoppe
      @SweetDreamsBakeShoppe  4 года назад +1

      So for any custom order like that, the minimum is determined after the customer tells me how big they would need each macaron to be and then I base it upon how much the batch makes. This takes years of making the same recipe over and over because it can be tricky to determine how much it’s going to make based on sizing alone! 💕

    Hi, Ashleigh hope you’re doing well!
    I have a question regarding your pricing for your macs if you don’t mind! Does the $2 per mac also include the cost of your supplies such as the box & bag you would
    package them in for your customer? Thank you :)

    • @SweetDreamsBakeShoppe
      @SweetDreamsBakeShoppe  3 года назад +4

      Hi Kimberly! Yes--if the box was just a regular bakery box I would include it in the price. If they asked for any specific type of box (clamshell box, gift box, etc.) then I would add this cost on as well :)
