It was 2 months. Thanks for listening.
Seeing this comment before the audio started and immediately getting context was high quality.
happy late birthday
Months is months
You lost me
Thanks for the content. I must say, Eric's profile pic totally captures what he must have been feeling during 2/3 months conversation.
It kinda broke my heart hearing Geoff talk about how he'd wanted to stay in the spare bedroom with a small team basically throughout the company's life and was trying to get back to that whenever he started something new. I'm just glad that when he started F**kFace, that finally happened for him. Not in the way he probably wanted but we're here now.
I can see it. I mean AH was small and when it started requiring scheduling, productions, he kind of left. I can see him wanting to be in a pond, happy, and making it
That’s essentially why Ray left too. Achievement Hunter was becoming something completely different from what he had joined.
Whats great is it even got smaller with the shut down and moving everyone to a new "location".
Ya, I felt that. RT just got too big. The "comradery" of a small group that cares about every decision is a beautiful thing.
As someone who was around since RvB Season 2, you could see the end trajectory from a long way off. The obsession with constant growth that's a part of corporations is the eventual end of any company built on small teams and personal chemistry.
Those things can only grow so large before they lose their personal nature and become just another production house. From the moment they started to insert ads before content, and then during content, and then sponsored content, etc, the path was clear.
The discussion about them getting or not getting a space was very interesting because I see why Andrew thinks it’s a waste of resources but I also see why having a physical space would be great, I mean so many wonderful achievement Hunter videos came from them just filming stuff in between let’s plays that’s how we got videos series like between the games and shenanigans, just wonderful stuff honestly
For sure! I worry that Andrew's perspective on it is that that sort of content might take off a bit too much and he'd end up feeling a left out from content. He's like 33% of the main cast, pulling him from main production stuffs too often would be a bummer!
But all that said, the opportunity to have a space to record live stuff in is definitely a must! Just gotta be handled carefully I suppose!
I'm so happy that you decided to keep going. I especially appreciate Gavin sticking around, he has a channel with over 100X more subsribers than this one and yet he is sticking around to be with his friends. That's awesome.
Get one of those iPads on wheels so Andrew can be more involved with the in-person content. I would have loved seeing him peer into the bean hole as an ipad
Same. Maybe even from inside the bean hole itself?
He could then appear on an episode if regulation break show, or if they brought back Does it Do? They could use the iPad with a iPad gadget, for the purpose of a visual gag
Main problem being he doesn't want to appear on camera hence why he's never come to any of the in person stuff
@@scott5203 I didn't realize it was anything other than being 1/2 a worlds away in Canada. Maybe he can wear his balaclava if he doesn't want us knowing it's him...
He'd be just like Holly! Shining his torch down corridors, turning it off, shining it again. His life would be pretty full!
"Burnout is fueled by enthusiasm. When you love what you do to the degree that we do, you really have to be mindful of that."
Whoof, I feel that. I'm in a different field in a different occupation, but I am passionate about both, and this rings very true for me. I have to set boundaries so I dont wear myself out. I feel this so hard.
Sausage Talk is stronger now than it ever was!
Love your edits, thanks for doing what you do!
@@Reb0rnKnight thank you!
The 2/3 month debate is the 3 decades of RT Podcast all over again
I feel like im back in the 2010's rn. I remember when their was joy and excitement in what Geoff and his team were producing.
Thanks for the years of smiles and laughs. Thank you for the years to come.
You guys should split a physical space with 100% Eat, that way they have a consistent space to record and you're not paying the entire cost for something you're only using sometimes.
I feel like Andrew would say that someone who lived from 1899-2001 would be 300 years old, cause he was in the 1800;s, 1900's, and 2000's
Technically the same for Andrew himself as he's not 30 yet but has lived in 4 decades
The real version of this is that you are in your first year of life before your first birthday, which tripped up people reading John Green way back in the day because he got it right in the book and people thought they were correcting him
Like you turn 16, and at the same moment you enter your seventeenth year of being alive. The number birthday is how many whole years you’ve already completed, which sounds stupid written out but leads to this weird almost-paradox
@@redtaileddolphin1875 I think it’s just a cultural thing, like legal ages to do stuff use the normal age convention, but in south Korea people are 1 year old at birth and they age up a year on New Year’s Day. So a person born on December 31st 2000, turns 2 years old on January 1st 2001.
Is Andrew 2000 years old? He was alive in the 1000s and 2000s
The whole in person day thing wouldn't be an issue if Andrew didn't have this whole bit where it takes him like a week to get to Austin
Well it’s not just that if that rented space becomes a place where they go regularly then that becomes an imbalance that is unresolvable without him moving. There is also the additional issue of him working abroad without a visa
andrew has never stepped foot in Austin in over 10 years because of his agoraphobia, he will never do it
@@r12joy96I'm afraid of Al Gore too

How professional that paperwork must have looked
So glad Geoff still wants to bring back the Breaks Show! I miss it dearly. Hope they can get a space and a set when they feel able.
I absolutely disagree with Andrew saying them having an office is a bad idea because, having breakshow be a thing again and all the posibilities of filming in person is tremendous
Yeah, I get why he is saying what he does.
But having a purely creative space, that doesn't burden their personal lives/homes feels like a no brainer long term.
As a member of the last great tier, I concur with your comment
I think Andrew is wrong on the workspace issue, they need somewhere to go
They literally spoke this through within the conversation. The discussion literally ended with Andrew seeing their point of view.
love listening to this sort of stuff, thanks for letting us in!
I love how Andrew admits having their own space would be beneficial but is actively against it due to selfishness.
Not everyone is in every gameplay and that's ok. It's nice to have a little change in the dynamic.
No he said the best of the *in person* content is without him, not that in person content is best.
I think the easiest way to handle the fact that Andew feels like he is missing out on an office is to get him one of those little convention scooter things where people face time in on. That way he can be physically in the space.
For in-office content / schenanigains I absolutely agree, would be hilarious, but not for long, and as for actual business interactions the latency talking over internet will always affect the experience for everyone involved, especially having 4 of the 5 in person talking with natural realtime latency 😕 would still be an incredible bit though
Some sausage talk for breakfast
One minute in and Sausage Talk is immaculate
This is the CHAOS I needed !!! I need Geoff to let loose and scream and yell sometimes, I need him to let go and embrace the chaos lol
Great sausage. Delicious. Loved hearing your guy's excitement and feelings on the new company and old. Been a big fan since rvb season 1 and LP launch. Here's to your futures!
1:08:21 Andrew is making no sense. His social anxiety makes it so he can't and won't participate in anything live action. Okay that's fine, but why would he complain about it? The guys shouldn't have to keep stuff in their homes because of it.
Very well put. He wasn't in the baseball video, bean hole or does it do and he didn't have an issue then. Even said how he looked forward to seeing them live on the podcast.
Now he's making up that they wanted a hangout space which none of them said like they're trying to exclude him from videos.
OMG the ad before this Supplemental on the ipodcast app version of the episode, is about how hard it is to choose a credit card and I think it's perfect hahaha!!
there's a reason every 100% remote company I've ever worked for has ended up getting a physical office
like at the very least it's nice to have a place for mail to go to
Big time! Totally makes sense to have a storage space that doubles as a productivity catalyst / production suite for live stuffs.
That said, I think Andrew's concerns about striking a balance from his perspective are totally valid! I'm sure (or i hope at least, for their sake) by now they've gotten a solution figured out behind the scenes!
I was literally looking through the drafts playlist for something to listen to while I clean my apartment! What timing!
Same boat, just trying to finalise stuff for our holiday on Tuesday and need something fun in the background!
I get a part of Andrews point, but his complete lack of willingness to join the rest of the gang in Austin to do occasional in person content made that part of the conversation rough to listen to. I would be very disappointed that the community gets less live action content because 1/5 will not participate.
They don't make a big deal out of it, but it's clear Andrew has personal and mental health issues that would heavily impact him doing things in person. That's something I completely understand and support. He shouldn't be forced to do things that make him uncomfortable for the audience's entertainment.
Guys I've figured it out. Andrew needs a Vtuber presence so he can join in with "on site" filming.
@@Scyth0rI get that too but then he shouldn’t prevent the others from doing that content seeing as it always performs well.
@@KnordicKnight This deserves to be a top comment, not just a reply. An Andrew Vtuber would be a sight to behold.
People here are speaking as if the conversation about the office ended halfway through....
They literally talked it out entirely within this podcast. The discussion literally ended with Andrew seeing their point of view.
I just wanna say that I never listened to F**kface before the end of RT but I was always curious and now I’m kicking myself. Can’t wait to see what Regulation becomes
Just gotta say, ya'll rule for making these sausage talks! Please please do more, its honestly so cool to get to hear your perspectives on making the stuff we love! ❤️❤️
Love you guys. Love your content your personalities and the dynamic yall have is the only content I watch anymore. Excited to see your success grow
Love you guys. I'm so glad this is going as well as it is. My wife is now 27 eps into F**k Face and absolutely loving it, you guys have created something that brings so much joy and laughs and that's so awesome.
Thank you all for making this show. It’s really great
Thank you very much for making the transition seamless. It made losing RT much easier
You guys do you. We'll be here
I always loved these. Hearing these ideas from and bounce around, and learning what stuff you guys don't and do like.
Kinda surprised you didn't list the P.O. Box in the description....I am happy y'all have one. Seeing the packages people would send was always neat.
I will always support this crew, I love you guys
Andrews refusal to do things in person should not deprive us of in person content and ideas.
On the flip side, the audience's desire to see people on camera should not negatively impact the fun and chemistry that's the reason we enjoy their content in the first place.
@@Scyth0ryeh sure, but if he’s just not going to do it. I’m sure they didn’t expect him to move from Canada 💀 there’s no reason they can’t still do things in an office space like they were doing before. That never negatively impacted anything. It makes no sense he would be against it now, when it clearly worked very well before.
@@Scyth0rI know this community loves the toxic positivity "we can't demand stuff of them" but this isn't that. Andrew came off as incredibly selfish in that exchange. He's the only one of them objecting to getting an office space because he personally won't be involved and that's a problem of his own making.
You're not wrong, but a bit harsh of a phrasing don't ya think? 😅
Like, consider Andrew's perspective! Its gotta be hard being part of localized content creation group from a remote location!
@@Scyth0rthis 🤘👍👍👍
All the branch off companies might need to rent a studio together (Regulation, 100% eat, stinky dragon, so on...) and all split the rent based on how often they use the space.
I feel like that erodes some of the stuff they like about being independent
Getting a reasonably sized and priced place isn't overwhelmingly expensive.
As much as some of us might want to see some of the RT band back together, I don't think that's what most of the businesses sprouting from it want. They're trying to build their own brands.
@@gotzmadskittlez3406 I agree that they are better off on there own. I'm just thinking thinking it's cheaper to split the rent between friends.
@gotzmadskittlez3406 lots of companies share space with other companies. It doesn't make you a larger company nor do you even have to know or care the other people who share the space. When you get there they are gone. When they get there you are gone. You never have to cross paths. They just need one person to play the landlord and pay the bills. I don't see how this would be a problem.
A point that Andrew made about a physical space that I don't think got communicated very well, is that an office space would be great to do things in occasionally, but to pay monthly rent for a space that only gets used occasionally feels like a waste. It'd be great to have a space that could be rented out for a few days or weeks at a time instead of year round. Especially because 'not wasting the space' would only incentivize leaving Andrew out.
Right!! Super good point!
I think they did talk about this aspect. In order to appease Andrew it sounded like the guys, specifically Geoff, downplayed how often they would use it. I think a space would be indespensable for all they want to do, and they would use it plenty.
Where would all the mail go though? They definitely need some kind of space for storage at the very least
I get why Andrew doesn’t want an office. It will be expensive. And it will definitely be harder for Andrew to participate because he won’t always be on even ground.
But when 80% of your company is in one city it makes it hard to justify not having a space
How about Andrew gets his own 'Desk' at the office for the rest of the team, where he has a setup where he can have a webcam setup to view in the room with a mic to talk with the fellas. Might be a bit janky but could be an interesting way to include him more.
I genuinely hope they get an office space
Same!! I hope they strike a balance like they had before - Andrew's concerns are totally valid, I think!
They won't have a choice. They are building a company. Andrew has a lot of growing up to do.
Personally, I'd love to see a does it do come back so getting a permanent space would be great.
Andrew out here doing the same math Gus did for RTP years
The new office space should be at the mall

what game are we looking at? sea of thieves? its looks like an obscure town building game I used to play and I got nostalgia
Speaking of unfinished let's plays, Peggle 2 when?? TAKE THE SHOT!!!
Andrew’s definitely wrong about the office it’s easy for him to be like no when he’s the only shlub who isn’t actually living there
I think it was more FOMO. I think he saw if they got an office they would use it more and more and potentially unintentionally shut him out of a lot of stuff
Andrew, the shlub
Great news hearing Graysie will be in some content coming up, she fit in the group so well.
We need the break show to come back asap.
Geoff of Five: "We got a little Borg unit goin'." 😂
Geoff of five 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
In Andrew's defence about saying it's "3 months" he's making a very common math error called the fencepost problem. Basically, since each section of fence requires a post on either side, you always have one more post than fence sections. So for a 2 section fence, you need 3 posts. The question asked was "how many [full] months since finding" which is equivalent to the 2 fence sections; however, Andrew answered "how many months has the company existed in" which is l equivalent to the 3 fenceposts.
For more math facts, please like and subscribe /s
LET'S GOOOO
39:00 this is what I come here for lol
Nick saying "You Lost Me" got me in trouble with my wife for laughing so loud and interrupting her show lol.
I feel bad for Andrew, I understand where hes coming from with not wanting to rent an office. Unfortunately he might have to bite the bullet on this, the company will eventually need a place and its kinda not fair for him to pay for part of the rent since he doesnt live in Texas. But thats business sometimes. Unless they can make a deal or something. Maybe Andrew gets some sort of perk, what the perk is, I dont know lol
It's also a company expense. There's plenty of jobs where you don't get to experience every part of it and maybe only people above you do. Lounges, luxury cars, etc. He's not paying for it, it's coming out of the company's expenses and it's beneficial (and will be needed) to 80% of the employees.
The "I don't want to pay" seemed like an excuse and the real reason is FOMO and the fact that he doesn't want there to be even more content that he cannot be a part of.
God that horizon talk made me really want a movie update so badly 😂

See Geoff? You CAN be sincere and heartwarming without sounding like the world's most sarcastic baby! 😊
🤣🤣 quit reminding him! Ya'll gonna curse us with the experience of hearing it again! 😂
Starting up the Regulation Podcast, as someone, not at all involved and just seeing it from the outside, feels like, when games bring back the exact same level or boss but with a twist and just use Level Name: The Revenge. This process seemed like "Starting F**kface: The Revenge", as in, it's starting the same concept again, but before you had a sorta, backing under Rooster Teeth, or at least, a team to get all the various bits and pieces moving. But now? Largely just the five of you. Not that you all haven't done an amazing job and that the content released isn't just as if not more hilarious than it was two* months ago.
Get an office with some Ring cameras and Andrew can see everything that goes on in the office.

I get where Geoff is coming from with merch but I do want something close to the logo on a t shirt
Got to admit a concern i had was broached in this sausage talk. The distance issue, there is so much potential for in person content and theres clearly a desire for it to be done. I understand Andrews concerns because from his view its a part of the company hes not part of. However, when hes been given opportunities and methods to attend the live action content and yet refused, its on him. Thankfully democracy won out. An office space would allow for more outlandish and difficult to set up content. Gavin, Geoff, and definitely Nick and Eric wouldnt want a full facecam gaming set up permanently in their living rooms for example.
Gavin doing a let's watch of Fallout London would be so sick. I'd love that
The two month/three month is identical to the RTP argument about it going for two decades 😅😂
I just gotta say that I loved hearing all of the stuff about the fans having an ownership of the bits as much as the gang does. As Geoff said, having a piece of merch isn’t just supporting them, it’s a story. Pink porta potty mug on the desk? Well, let me tell you about how this guy Andrew bought a real one for his friend Geoff and had it delivered to his house unexpectedly!
Getting the merch right is a big thing, and I’m happy that they’re taking their time with it. It’s such a core part of this whole venture, and I greatly appreciate that they’re being mindful of that.
RT merch were at their best when it was just a funny quote on a shirt
I was wondering what happened to the tuxedo, sad you couldn't get it
