  • Two methods of cooking Preserved Radish Fish
    The ratio of preserved radish to garlic is 2 : 1
    Stir-fry the preserved radish until it turn whitish , put aside
    Also fry the garlic until golden brown, then set aside
    Chop 3 chili padi, fry on low heat, turn off the heat and add the mixed soya sauce
    Mixed soya sauce ingredients
    *Light Soya Sauce 2tbsp
    *Dark Soya Sauce 1tbsp
    *Pepper ¼ tsp
    *Sugar 1tsp
    *Sesame Oil 1tsp
    *Hot Water 2tbsp
    Wash the fish, sprinkle some salt and pepper and a little chinese cooking wine and set aside
    Pan-Fried Fish Version
    Heat up cooking oil to at least 170 degrees
    Slide the fish along the side of the wok into the oil, don’t move it, let it fry for a few minutes
    Flip to the other side and continue frying
    You can pick it up when it's golden brown
    Mix the preserved radish and garlic together and
    Put onto the fish with chili soya sauce
    Done
    Steamed Fish Version
    Put spring onion, coriander head and a few slices of tomatoes on the steam plate
    Put the fish on top, put a few slices of ginger
    The fish weighs 400 gram so it needs to be steamed for seven minutes
    Keep the lid covered for another five minutes after steaming
    Mix the preserved radish and garlic together and
    Put onto the fish with chili soya sauce
    Done

    Amazing.. never know radish can match so well with fish? What type of radish better? Salty or sweet?

      I prefer sweet type. You can mix both salty and sweet according to your liking. 😍
