I working on getting more things to do as we speak! The biggest leak spot is the back plate for the belt housing. I had to remove my clutches to remove the back plate and redo the factory rtv job. I really with I have filmed it. I'll try to find someone who needs it done and make a how to.

I’m working on trying to waterproof everything on my new 2022 Brute Force 750. I was considering doing the same thing with dielectric grease but I can see how the marine grease could stay in place longer. I even thought of running a bead of silicone around the outside of the seam after it’s closed. Something is making my BF run horrible after I go through any water or mud higher than my diffs. I’m sure it’s being slung up higher on something though.

I have a friend that has been chasing the same issue with his brute force 750. as far as the marine grease I am still water tight and I Have not opened my belt box since this video was recorded. I used to silicone my belt box until i realized it wasn't necessary for my application

Good work have you ever thought about getting seals from outsidemotorcompany whats your opinion on them?also what do you do with your airbox seal?

I haven't had a need for OMC seals yet. I have spoke with alot of people who swear by them. The highlifter airbox seals really well, at least mine does so far with just a thin layer of grease as well.

I just send it till it doesn't feel right, has been smoked one time, or breaks. I keep a spare OEM belt on hand just in case

Thanks. I actually did something else. I showed my neighbor who teaches Airframe at a local school and suggested using Butal tape. Roll it to same diameter as the seal or a little bigger and stuff it into the groove. Then place cover on. I can say it seal very well and also easy to take apart if needed with little residue. He gave me aviation butal tape but window tape will work too. He thought that Polaris seal will never be good enough to keep water out and only should be used for dusty damp conditions. So far so good.

That's a neat concept! Though I'll have to disagree with his opinion on this method as it works very well. I treat my unit like a submarine and it doesn't leak at all I can sit there and idle as long as I want everything stays dry which is why I made the video for others

I believe yours is good and was gonna do same thing. This guy sold me on butal tape. Who knows if it lasts. My son rides like you do. Well see. I still ordered the Polaris seal as a backup. Thanks for videos.

Also you can get little rubber grommets to put the screws on that go on the belt box to protect from water seeping in
