Phenomenal work on that Spitfire Jamie! 😍🥰😎 I agree with you regarding the F-35, I find all modern jets painfully, mind numbingly, boring, which is why I've drawn the line at the Vietnam War and the end of the cold war, after that everything is "yawn....whatever"....😉😆😂
Absolutely stunning work on the Spitfire Jamie! What a beauty! ❤ Would love Arma to do a mk1 Hurricane. Hope you build the Norseman next Jamie, if only for variety sake! 😂 Take it easy mate 👍
Great update, Jamie! Eagerly looking forward to next weeks surprise. I'm with you on the F-35. A dull and boring looking aircraft as a modeling subject. In real life it's only slightly more interesting looking. I'm not sure how the marketing dept. at Tamiya saw this as a big seller, but then again I'm not a marketing expert. Awesome job on the Spitfire and hope your auction does very well for Whizz Kidz!
Spitfire looks amazing 👏 I hadn't heard Arma were announcing a new 1/48th scale kit at the weekend, I know Clear Prop! Are announcing a new "famous" 1/48th scale kit tomorrow ( 2 major versions).
Great vid Jamie, regarding the F-35, a cool way I’ve decided to make my newest Tamiya 1/72 A version is straight out of the factory with the mint green primer on it, should look quite interesting and unique. I had the idea while speaking to Mach Models from RUclips as they are making the B version soon and were looking for a way to spice it up 😃
I haven't had any kits form DACO but I have their book on the EE Lightning, which is brilliant. 160 pages of detail photos plus scale plans - and I have the edition that comes with a DVD with an additional 2,500 photos! Danny Coremans is the chap.
As I said elsewhere Stunner of a Spit - chapeau - Best I have seen. Think it will be out of my price range straight away but I will be in there if able ( it's my initials and i'm from Yorkshire 'R NM 😂) 1/48 Tamiya F-35C Yes please - boat floated ( got the A and B - got to have the C for Top Gun 3 ) - I saw it referred to as "Fat Amy - Battle Penguin" by a chap called Tim Davies ex RN / RAF - know him? The Magister - oh my that looks lovely - I remember them in French and Belgian service - may be bit too big for me at 1/32 but who knows As for the secret squirrel video - interesting - eyes peeled😉
@@thescalemodellingcafe Ah - That explains something - I caught his Paul Tremelling Interview today and he mentioned a great Tucano Instructor called Jamie. Must say Tim is full on and I am an avid fan of his channel.
I’ll be having a cheeky bid on that Spit Jamie. I agree about the F-35 or any aircraft in all grey. Without being political I think there is only the modern Ruski stuff with interesting colours. I have a gwh 1/48 su-30sm which is a stunning kit and I’ve seen a few grotty photo’s of them in their new colours. I also like the Ukraine Flanker colours of the Su-27
Respectfully disagree with the F-35C - It's a favourite! And with them being on carrier decks over the past few years there are building up quite a unique look - In the hands of a weathering master like yourself Jamie I am sure you could turn out a wonderful model, with all the oxide and patina metallics: plus, it's a tamiya! Take another look Jamie, there is modelling gold in thon rectangular box! 😄

Thanks mate, glad it's not just me!
The Spit is a thing of beauty! Stunning work!
Thanks mate
Great work on the Spit

Wow. The Spitfire is a beauty. Congratulations. Totally agree with your sentiments on the F-35.
Thanks mate

It's not that famous!!!
@thescalemodellingcafe yes that was a bit of an exaggeration from Clear Prop!.

It's a nice scheme but not for me, and no weathering potential!

Thanks Phil, that's him!
Just for variety I'll say i quite like the battle penguin 😂
Blurgh!

Thanks Neil. I know Tim very well, I've known him for years, from when he was in the Navy

Hello Jamie.
Will you be painting the Spit with Atom paints?
Thank you
No mate, MRP probably, maybe Tamiya though for a change?

I'm sure I could have a good go at it, but the subject just bores me!
Cliffhanger ending 😜
Click bait.....!
I wish Eduard would do the griffon engined spitfires and seafires in 1/48
You, me, and many others!
I'm with you re the F-35
Cheers Guy!
Arma Hobby 1/48 P-51a/A-36😍😍😍
That would be nice
