I am a foreigner living in Mandalay, but I will leave soon due to the situation! I applaud your efforts to raise funds for those who have been affected by war. Little do sanctimonious keyboard warriors know how much Myanmar people are struggling! I feel that Myanmar is not my country, so I shouldn’t stay. I want to return to Myanmar after the war and help them rebuild. Myanmar people are always grateful when foreigners make an effort to help their country. They don’t deserve what’s happening… This video accurately represents what being a tourist in Myanmar is like and the ethics of the matter well.

I am from Myanmar. You're safe as long as you do touristy things and go to touristy places: the junta wants tourist dollars to run their military machine to stay in power. However, if you are a journalist who wants to get the truth about the junta and the civil war, you will not be safe at all. That said, I'm glad you enjoyed the trip and back safely.

Well Done, brother. You described the situation very well. It’s fluid now and not in a good way. I lived before and after the coup, teaching in Lashio, Mandalay, Magway and Kalaw. I feel as though the people of this beautiful country touched your heart as they did mine. I returned to the US in late June 2021 when I saw nothing good coming from the developments. Of course I brought my lovely Myanmar wife, to get away from certain struggles that have now been realized. We both look forward to returning to live when the injustice is vanquished. Peace to you, my new friend. I will continue to follow your journeys. 🙏🙏🙏

The government sell all gas production to Thailand and Myanmar ppl has no electricity ! They sell 1-2 millions dollars per day to Thailand! So that Bangkok and other industrial zone have electricity but we are in the dark! Sad for my country

There are only a handful of people who are considering going to Myanmar at the moment and this is NOT because of hyped media or “RUclipsrs” like me who are (in your eyes) dramatizing the situation.
