You aced it today. The strands was easy enough. My go-to restaurant wasn't up there as I like to do Waffle House on the road. Subway's alright. You mentioned Firehouse Subs. We have one around here (WV) but I've never been. As for Connections, I had a hard time with this. I found the green category off the bat, but then made 3 mistakes trying to find the right cities. I have never heard of the Magic City (Magic Kingdom, yes, but I don't think Orlando is known as the Magic CIty), and was left with the yellow and blue categories. I found the yellow category as "nonchalant" but my reasoning was wrong and I don't know my whales so I was clueless on the blue (fitting they used blue for the whale category, though!). I need to Google to figure out what a whale does when it breaches.
I really enjoy most of the puzzles they create. I think I saw someone else say that Miami is the Magic City because it was built up so quickly but I might be wrong.
(@@DailyWordPuzzlesWithOranje28 I googled it and Miami is one of three. Orlando and Birmingham Alabama are the other two. Orlando is what we associate with Disney (NBA team Orlando Magic) and Birmingham Alabama is probably not common knowledge much outside that state. That's why I made several errors trying to find this. I thought maybe EASY? As in New Orleans being the Big Easy. I had not yet cleared the yellow category so that's why I was in a bit of a pickle here.

Chainlink fence? Anyway it was obviously restaurant chains. Are there any bonus points for finding the Spangram (in yellow) first? I found Checkers / Sizzler first and then it became obvious what the theme of puzzle was.
@@Tiqerboy In Art's competition, you start with 10 points and then -1 for Spangram not first, -2 for over 5 minutes, and -2 for each hint. (So 10 is a perfect score.)
I don't recall seeing a score after I was done, just a comment saying 'perfect' or something similar. Then again, I don't have the NYT subscription that tracks your progress for these games.
FJORD, ALINE, MELEE, BUGLE
I like Blue Whales as well. How could you not love an animal who is described as: "Far bigger than any dinosaur..." :-)
Truly an amazing animal of the modern world
Happy to see both dogs. 🐾🐾🙂
Need to be fair to both!

I noticed that. Not a big deal. Wordle is just for fun anyways. 😊

I got the wordle in 5 because I guessed bulge first.
Star Trek IV the Voyage Home set me up beautifully for the blue today!
Your dogs are adorable!
Thank you! ❤
I like Outback a lot. Also its sister chain, Carrabba's (Italian restaurant). Both very good.

@@Tiqerboy Oh, the NYT doesn't care whether you get the Spangram first. That was just a rule in one of the RUclips competitions.
