It's so nice you are able to give Pippa her best life as she ages. She can sniff around in lots of fun new places, lounge around all she wants, and be with her favorite human 24/7. What a great home for the two of you.
I hope this comment stands out amongst all the rude people who complain on van life/car life videos about the well-being of the dogs. These dogs are living just as good if not better a life than the dogs living in a regular house in a suburban area.
@@gryffyleelee I agree, Pippas was and still is very happy and enjoying all the rest time she wanted even while living in the van,she had a bed there 24/7 or her bed in the front seat. She's one spoiled and very loved girl. Gets more love and attention then most dogs do because Mom is home there with her 24/7. Never lonely. I'm just happy for Brooke because getting something different like the camper is what she has been wanting. Pippa still gets her nice beautiful and peaceful walks
That's a very nice little unit for it's age. I've owned vintage travel trailers and quite honestly they are made much better. So glad Pippa has her own suite.😊
The older stuff may be a little worn and a little dirty or stained here and there, but they're made so much better than the newer stuff! Besides, who cares? They're campers and you are in the wilderness! People are so weird about stuff. That is a great little camper for you and Pippa. Thank for the tour! I just bought a 1998 Fleetwood RV for me and my kids (plus our dog and cats). I pray our travels are as safe and productive as yours! You are inspiring!
We had a pop up for years. We started with tents and the move to a pop up was magical. It was my husband and me and our 3 kids. Our pop up was a little bigger than yours but I loved it so much. We did have a furnace and air conditioner and our stove unlatched to be used in the outdoor kitchen. We camped all over the country in that pop up. You are so lucky to have it and Pipa seems to love it too. We fulltime now, but we have a 40 ft. Winnabago with all the bells and whistles, but I would love to have that little pop up again
Loving your new set up! I am so happy for you both! Thanks for the tour! It's perfect the way you left some stuff in the car. It's just like having different rooms in a house. Happy travels!
Love the new set up! I had a Coleman popup for many years (with a slide and bathroom in it). My kids and I loved it. The only complaint was in the really cold weather (we’re in Ohio) the cold air comes up under those beds. We opened a zero degree sleeping bag and laid it right on top of the mattress and then put bedding over both. Worked much better. Also had put an electric blanket over the mattress then the sheets and slept on that. Hope this gives you some ideas if you start feeling the cold. Give Pippa a big hug from Ohio! Stay safe and looking forward to more videos/adventures.
Oh how I remember the excitement of my building my life with things I could afford. I was so happy with little and everything was used. But it was so much fun! I too had a dog- a brown mutt named Mottie. You'll cherish these memories forever! God Bless from a Great Gran in MN who now summers in a Keystone Residence RV and LOVES it!
That is a really nice camper! Can't believe it's 30 yrs. old, very well taken care of. How difficult is it to set up and break down for a single person? Thanks for sharing. Best wishes for this nice rv.
Thanks so much for the tour. I love the new camper and all that it provides for you and Pippa. Love you each have your own big bed area. Pippa is definitely living her best life with all her space. Enjoy your camper and all it provides you. You and Pippa deserve it.
Good morning Brooke and Pippa! Thank you for the pop up tour. I go to carpet stores and have bought scrap pieces of carpet/vinyl and have actually laid down new vinyl flooring in my bathroom with a scrap piece( limited colors) of vinyl from the carpet store and it's really cheaper than buying full price carpet or vinyl.
Pippa's relaxed demeanor and that little smile speaks volumes. Brooke she looks really happy. Thanks for the tour. Take your time as you upgrade we'd like to be apart of it.
It will be fun watching you put your unique touches on your lovely camper. I’m impressed that you are breathing life into an oldie but goodie, instead of buying something new, we should all be more purposeful. I’m not sure why anyone needs to comment on a single thing about your little hacienda, as long as you are happy and safe I find it wonderful. I’m hoping to wake up one day and we have decided as a society that the best way to make ourselves feel better in life, is by encouraging others in theirs. Boop Pippa’s adorable little nose for me! ~Valerie
This looks like the perfect setup for the two of you! I love how Pippa now has her very own “suite.” She looked so comfy! As to the nay-sayers about the dinner cushions, don’t give it another thought. I’d get a set of sheets or blankets & put over them. Problem solved! So happy for you Brooke!
I've always liked those and growing up my dad use to rent them when we'd go camping sometimes. I think now even though I like them for me I worry about bears coming around since they have no hard sides and knowing my dog she'll try to jump out the material sides to get at it 🤣🤣 I camp and have my tent but I sleep in the car, cause I always figure out I have to leave really quickly I'm already in the car lol but I do love that your Lil baby has her own Lil bed and so comfy. That's a big plus and lots of love for her. Congrats....
I love that you got this entire camper for less than a months worth of rent for most people. So happy for you. I’d love to see a video of how all that electricity, gas, and water stuff works.
Lovely new accommodations! Yay! Just a note from personal experience - the scent from the bounce sheets will transfer to foodstuffs, including Pippa's food. So if you notice she isn't loving her regular food that may be why. Used to store laundry detergent and bounce sheets in the food tote and found out fast that the transfer makes food super yucky.
King sized pillow cases for the cushions, maybe. Those living in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. I love your lil pop up. Also keeping your car w/ dresser et. al is a great decision., it is already organized and gives you more room in the camper. Pippa is such a character.
I enjoy watching you and pippa I travel and live in my truck almost 2 years now congratulations on the trailer happy for you You are a beautiful woman inside and out
An unorthodox suggestion: I went camping with my nephew who had an old pop up camper. In Texas, in the summer this is not a good way to go. But he had a window ac unit fitted into the camper and he and his wife slept cool and comfy. Not for everyone but if you head south for the winter you might need it. Best of luck to you.
Welcome to Pop Up life. We love our PUP. Just an FYI, baby crib mattress sheets fit over the cushions nicely! I’m sure you’ve already checked it out but we love The Pop up portal for tips etc! Enjoy!
Nice tour. I can’t believe ppl commented about the cushions … it’s an older model & well used. Instead of picking apart the pop up why not send her cushion covers. Pippa is chillin in her new digs. 👍🏼
You and your pup are literally living your best lives..... nothing holding you back, you have a small dog so he can fit anywhere, small gas efficient car plus a honda.... we all know they last forever! And your traveling WITH YOUR FURBABY! WHAT COULD BE BETTER!! your super lucky you can even do this!
It’s always such a pleasure to watch your videos...... you handle everything so nicely and have such love for Pippa. So glad you have more room and the little camper has a great spacious feel to it. You are smart not to junk it all up with stuff, keeping some things in the car is a good idea. Hope you and Pippa have many wonderful adventures in your new home.
I absolutely love and it seems the last owner took great care of it. I’m sure you both are happy having a bed and sleeping together. Pippa seems happy. it’s not different than any other house. Take your time so you can see the vision and recreate to your liking. Don’t rush and like a home do one project at a time. Super duper proud of you and Pippa. That’s what you quality and they don’t make them like they use to.
Caveat for future owners of tents on wheels. Those who plan to go camping in national and some state parks, best make sure you can bring them in. Many locations have banned them due to limited protection from large carnivore activity.
Aw dear lady I am so delighted to see your new setup for yourself and Pippa and I wish you both health and happiness to enjoy! I have always been curious about this style of camper and it has been so enjoyable to see around the layout of your new home. Thankyou. Be blessed xxx
Thats a cute trailer. I think its a great addition to your life adventure. And that trailer will be so much more comfortable. Trailers are so much easier than a car/vehicle to do life out of. New tires are very smart for your pop up trailer. I think I am envious thinking about the adventures in front of you!! A family of 7 lived in one of these for over a year. TOUGH, but so much better than the hardship car living presents. Way to go, Strong , Beautiful Woman👍👍👍👏👏👏
love your popup. You made a pretty decent buy. My husband & I camped in a 1970 popup years ago, we even slept in freezing Temps in ours & when a hurricane after passing thru Florida went up the east coast, it turned around as a subtropical storm & wouldn't you know we were camping at the beach & stayed hunker down in the popup. Oh what memories. You have made some wise decisions with new tires etc. I think you can google how often to grease the wheel bearings. Lithium batteries are expensive, & light weight making them easy to move around. look at the cushions to see if they are zippered, if so. Try washing in COLD water & let air dry to reduce shrinkage. The fabric is probably very sturdy . Another option would be this time of the year all the summer cushions are going on sale, you may be able to find some to fit. Here in Florida home depot walmart & lowes home improvement carry them. Love your adventures. Happy travels from a great grammie in Florida
Brooke, check out the sewing section at Walmart. Sometimes the rement section has large pieces for anywhere $2-4.00 use these to lay over you seats in the dinette section. So happy for you and Pippa to have a larger space to relax, work and sleep in. Pls reassure all of us that you two are safe. The front door lock looks weak as if a bear or man can crash through it. Best to the two of you. I love watching your videos.
Recently helped a friend purchasing a pop-up and renewed the algorithms interest of pop-ups. We had an 89 Newport and this was awesome to see! Thought we have moved on to a teardrop style trailer, this was fun to reminisce about our previous trailer!
I'm a newer follower & been watching some of your past videos also. My parents had a pop up camper when I was growing up & I LOVED it. Me & my friends would set it up in the backyard and stay out there for days.. until the earwig bugs invaded us, and until 1 night someone came in the yard & unplugged our electric 😱 then in the dark they stood looking in the top screen of the door. They eventually left & we ran in but never stayed in there again.
Those cushions look good for being 30 years old lol. I feel like i look worse after one weekend of camping. Haha. I love this camper. My grandpa used to have one and it was the best.
I had the same Coleman tent-trailer 30 years ago though mine had a trunk in the front over the hitch. Very functional with a king-size mattress on each side. Looks perfect for you and Pippa.
I love your new livingstone! I think it gives you and Pippa so much room! Pippa definitely approves! Sending lots of love and hugs and hope and peace 🥰😘💘
Hi Brooke and Pippa, absolutely love the place and how you are utilizing the storage and space! You're making it so homey. Love that you have retained your minimalist style; it always makes a small place seem bigger. I think you are one of the smartest YT stars around. I love the way you speak, like you have prepared and know what you're going to say. No pregnant pauses bcz you forgot where you are in the process or just can't think of the name of that 'whatchama callit'. You're fun to watch and enjoy your channel So Much! Apparently I'm in good company with you other 55k Subscribers! Love love love Pippa too!❤🌞🐕👱♀️👍
If your couch cushions are the right size, you could get a body pillow case to cover them. We did that in our RV when we got a tear. It kept it from ripping further and they were easy enough to put on and take off. If that doesn’t work, a diy upholstery video could be fun! Regardless, I love your new home! I hope you and Phipps enjoy it!
Man, I miss my Coleman pop up. On mine, You could set the cook top on a bracket outside so the inside didn't smell like bacon. I also had a small pop up privacy tent for the cassette toilet and the solar shower. Lots of happy times with me and my husky playing in the frio river in the Texas Hill Country.
Quick fix , I had an old musty camper . Cleaned walls, ceiling , seats , curtains with Dawn and vinegar and water mix in spray bottle from follies store . Everything comes super clean . Spray scrub cushions and dry in sun . You will be amazed how well it works. The vinegar removed musty smell and softens like fabric softener . Enjoy
I like it, you did good. I'd put all expensive things you can't afford to loose, in the car. Tent trailers are so easy to get broke into. I'd keep good stuff with you when you go to town. This is game changer.
Love it! Very nice job! I love watching how all the different nomad folks organize and manage their different arrangement. I love the peek into your arrangements. Thank you for sharing you with us.
We like your hairstyle. Now 2 friends (+ me) with the same haircut. We all showed our hairdresser your vids. Ps nice new camper!! I love your dog!! Bye from the Netherlands.
Just found your video . We have an old Coleman pop up too for about 15 yrs ours is a 1994 … looking forward to sharing the adventures in it ,with you and Pippa. . We have raised 6 children and 7 grands taking them camping in our pop up . We have so many great memories … you will too in yours … best of luck The Days 😊
This looks amazing! I am in my car for my last night of car camping for 9 days. I binge watched all of your videos so I kind of knew what I should do!! Thanks so much for your great tips. Love your new camper as well. You are going to feel it is the lap of luxury!!!
Pippa looks like she loves her area. I have a larger Aussie Lab mix, Betty, who loves to sit on the bunk with the windows open in our popup. Nice camper.
I love your new camper. I had wondered why more didn’t use pop ups. large beach or bath towels work great to cover the seats and backs, that’s what we used in our camper.
I bought a 1989 Coleman Chesapeake pop up that I'm currently fixing up. I was so excited to see you living in yours. I bought mine because I felt whatever happens at least I'd have a place to sleep.
Suggestion for cushions. Take material off foam cushion. If possible, carefully undo the seams to make a pattern. Then go to store like Hobby Lobby, Joanne’s, or even Walmart (think the first 2 would possibly have someone to suggest replacement material and what you all would need). That will give you time to choose the material pattern, color, etc. for the replacement. You might even get some extra material to staple to a piece of plywood to make the ramp
Oh no! You didn't bring up the dinette cushions, after all her warnings! You brave soul, I know you're just trying to be helpful but apparently she doesn't appreciate that. I quit watching after the 2nd scolding.
@@bonniepwtf I really wouldn't take it personal at all. You have to look at where she is coming from. She wasn't mean when she said it at all. I mean when you have major comments saying your cushions are dirty blah blah then your going to say enough with that. I mean it isn't like she can't see them she is with them in real life. She knows that they are stained and she is going to take care of them in due time. Sometimes humans just love to keep stuff going to be negative and it's being judgemental and plain rude. So yeah she probably is done hearing it for God sakes she knows and will do it when she gets around to it. I don't think she was scolding, mean or rude. She was stating facts and she is just done with that situation. You really can't blame her after the hundredth comment it gets old and tiring like repeating yourself to a class of toddlers.
I have an 04 Fleetwood that I’ve only had for about a year. I just wrapped my cushions in drop cloth from lowes and used upholstery screws to fasten the fabric. I was also wondering about fabric paint. I’ve watched a video on it once and it looked amazing…. I also laid peel and stick vinyl flooring that made a world of difference although between the changes in seasons and temperature changes it did create a bit of shrinkage.😆🤷🏼♀️…. I can live with it.😂 Excited for your journey! Thanks for sharing!!🤟🏻
Have you considered grouting where the shrinkage was? I don’t know how it would work out… just the first thing that came to mind to avoid having to clean tiny gaps.
You can easily cover the cushions if it bothers you. I did this with a window seat in my son’s bedroom years ago. The fabric was kind of fruity, not what a little boy would want so I got some Navy Blue fabric and I covered it like it was a birthday present I was wrapping with fabric. A few stitches here and there to secure things and they looked great. Did the trick for many years. I find a lot of great fabrics at thrift stores. An old sheet can also be cut up for this purpose. Cute camper. I’m sure you’ll put your touch on it and make it great.
A cheaper solution to the covers is to remove them and soak them in detergent and oxyclean. Let them air dry because an electric dryer would most likely shrink them. They would probably come completely clean. You could then get a can of scotch guard and spray them to make sure any future stains won’t stick. You could even do a whole video on it!
Hey, as long as your happy you want hear any unpositive from me. I am so glad you have more space to live in. Pippa is adorable. I know she's a great companion and hopefully a good watch dog. Congratulations.
Hi Brooke, Thanks for the tour! I love that you are showing us that a 30 year old camper can be still useful and affordable. I especially love Pippa's space. It's so nice for you to both have more room to stretch out!
This is much nicer than what I imagined. perfect living set up for you and Miss Pip and even though this pop up trailer has been on the road, it's still looks in good shape. The cushions are perfectly fine & there's nothing wrong with them. Safe travels to you & Miss Pip
I'm so happy for you and Pippa. Your Channel is one of my favorites! I'm 6 years clean and you inspire me to try all of these things sober. Life is so much better with adventure!
I used to have a 1991 Coleman tent trailer that I enjoyed for many years. As I recall I think that the switch you mentioned is for the outside step light. It used to be pretty handy when I was at a campground as I could easily spot my step at night when returning from the washroom. Thank you for the tour and have fun with your trailer.

Those cushions look good for being 30 years old lol. I feel like i look worse after one weekend of camping. Haha. I love this camper. My grandpa used to have one and it was the best.
Oh Pippa you are enjoying your new camper house with Mommy. I am so happy for you we used to have a StarCraft camper and loved camping in it!❤️🦴🥰🦴❤️
I had the same Coleman tent-trailer 30 years ago though mine had a trunk in the front over the hitch. Very functional with a king-size mattress on each side. Looks perfect for you and Pippa.
The camper gives you a really nice living space, but as always Pippa is the absolute star of the show!
Love love love Pippa too!❤🌞🐕👱♀️👍
💜💜💜
Lol Pippa with her cooling mat on her head. 🥰😁
Very cool!! I’m so happy you have more room to enjoy yourselves! In think it looks great!! ☺️
Very nice pop up and I'm glad you have the toilet! ❤❤
Enjoy
So cute and cozy! Congrats to you and Pippa!
Loved the tour! Was happy to see you had new tires and a fire extinguisher. I love how your Coleman trailer doesn't have too complicated of systems.
Ah, the simple pleasures of life. I love it.
I have seen these campers fixed up so cute with paint and fabric. You do things the way you like. Much nicer for you to move around in.
So glad everything has worked for you and your pop up camper, may you have many happy memories in it.
Look how chilled Pippa is ❤
Just found your video .
Wow 9 days! I hope you had a great trip!
Pippa looks like she loves her area. I have a larger Aussie Lab mix, Betty, who loves to sit on the bunk with the windows open in our popup. Nice camper.
Your camper is really nice. I am glad you and Pippa have a bigger space. Be safe.
Great job Brooke you did well for yourself and Pippa you to look happy
Suggestion for cushions. Take material off foam cushion. If possible, carefully undo the seams to make a pattern. Then go to store like Hobby Lobby, Joanne’s, or even Walmart (think the first 2 would possibly have someone to suggest replacement material and what you all would need). That will give you time to choose the material pattern, color, etc. for the replacement.
You might even get some extra material to staple to a piece of plywood to make the ramp
My mother used to recover old chairs and couches by cutting from the old pieces. Great idea!
Oh no! You didn't bring up the dinette cushions, after all her warnings! You brave soul, I know you're just trying to be helpful but apparently she doesn't appreciate that. I quit watching after the 2nd scolding.
She will get them steamed cleaned I am sure. No need to make this complicated. Kudos to her for her independence.
@@bonniepwtf Maybe because she's probably heard that her cushions are dirty a hundred times already and is tired of the judgment 🤷♀️
I can live with it.😂
Excited for your journey! Thanks for sharing!!🤟🏻
i was thinking the same (about the fabric paint)
What a great space! I’m so happy for you 🥹😊
You look so happy!! I dont think your camper cushions look dirty, I think they are a blank canvass for you. 💕
Hi Brooke, Thanks for the tour! I love that you are showing us that a 30 year old camper can be still useful and affordable. I especially love Pippa's space. It's so nice for you to both have more room to stretch out!
I like the ideal of leaving car set up. The camper is so open and relaxing
Wow your camper looks just like the one we had! Even has the same flooring.
Thank you for the tour! I hope you'll be very happy with the popup!
my grandparents had one very similar in the 80s. Lots of adolescent memories
Great tour Brooke. The camper looks so comfortable. I’m happy for you!
I do know Amazon has slipcovers that fit but have seen where people use crib sheets to cover their dining seating.
A cheap cover for those cushions on your table/bench is crib mattress fitted sheets. Love your new camper
Love the camper Brooke! So happy for you and Pippa. Congrulations! 🐾❤❤🐾
Pippa looks so much like my dog i had with me for over 16 years.... she is so sweet. everything is a work in progress, i love your uncluttered home.
It's very nice 😀 A work in progress . It's in really good condition too. Be safe
This is much nicer than what I imagined. perfect living set up for you and Miss Pip and even though this pop up trailer has been on the road, it's still looks in good shape. The cushions are perfectly fine & there's nothing wrong with them. Safe travels to you & Miss Pip
I love it! It's great to have that room to stand up & stretch.
I'm so happy for you and Pippa. Your Channel is one of my favorites! I'm 6 years clean and you inspire me to try all of these things sober. Life is so much better with adventure!
I enjoy your video's. Congrats on your new home. Plenty of space for you and Pippa. Stay safe and happy travels.
Whatttttt? I cannot find where there would be a light
