It’s too bad that some folks have to be negative. I really enjoy your videos and seeing your and Pippa’s travels and informative videos. Enjoy your travels in the new pop up!
Hi Amy! Thanks for watching and for the support. The pop up is a great addition for Brooke and Pippa! We hope you are enjoying the content here and are looking forward to engaging online with more “happy campers”! Enjoy your day!!
@@calisoul1326 I think she genuinely wanted to know how she gets food. Not everyone has watched every video and sometimes people don't know survival tactics. Your response was more negative than the comment you were raging on...
Sweet Brooke and Pippa, I am 70 year old retired woman and I have recently found your You Tube channel. Since following you, you have been on my mind a lot. Each evening at bedtime, I say a little prayer for yours and Pippa's safety and for continued success with your You Tube adventures. I also wonder each evening, where you might be, imagining you star gazing or other night camping pleasures. I know you have been doing this for awhile, and I know you are a grown woman, so my prayers are mainly for my peace of mind. If you happen to revisit some of those tourist sites you did in the beginning, please do videos on those spots. I will not be able to travel due to my health, so I would love to "see" these places through your eyes. God Bless You and Pippa and continued success in your "nomadic" life.
I don’t know your health issues, but I wanted to say I have serious health issues. I have had open heart surgery twice, have a pacemaker, have stage 3B kidney disease, diabetic and have a CardioMems monitor implanted in my heart for monitoring, and I spend months every year living in my car. There are many I’ll and disabled nomads out there. Most of us feel it improves our health.
I don’t understand why some people have to share their negative attitude. Good for you for addressing this right away. I think it is incredible what you are doing! Texas size hugs to you and of course Pippa!
Brooke I think I’m old enough to be your Mom. As for the safety issues I’d feel absolutely comfortable knowing what your doing. I’m used to being solo. I feel more comfortable in bfe with me and the dogs than in a city atmosphere. Your intelligent and definitely have the BOONDOCK smarts 😎. Safe travels and hopefully someday we can catch up with you and PIPPA 💕

@@BrookeandPippa hey Brooke, just a tip on keeping cool on hot days...wet a hand towel or towel and keep it around your neck. Re wet it as it warms up. It cools the body super fast. I know you're approaching the cooler months over there, but it might help during hot weather.
Just because you ask a question doesn't mean you are negative. It's like no one can ask a question if it's not deemed positive, even if it's valid. I think comments sincerely asking if she feels safe or asking how she stays safe as a woman on the road alone aren't hateful, unless framed as such. When I first started watching I was wondering if she felt safe or what she did for security. I think this would be fun, but I would be scared to get hurt. It's ok for someone to ask nicely bc they don't know and might be fearful and need advice.
We camped in a Coleman Newport and other pop-ups for many years. We really enjoyed camping in the fall. We never had any problems with getting cold in the camper. With the windows up and the heater on it is very comfortable! Congratulations on your new rig!
I love your outlook! I'm leaving next week in my 1998 Fleetwood RV with my 2 adult kids, 2 young teens, and our cats. We are leaving a toxic situation and I KNOW we will be safe. I think it's all how you view things! Love, love, love you and Pippa!
I just turned 67 years old. I have a pop-up camper setting in my yard. My circumstances don’t allow me to go on any road trips any time soon, so I will be traveling through your travels, pop-up and all. You and Pippa have fun and enjoy your experiences!!!
We had a popup for our family until recently and we had the best memories in it. It saved money and was cozy! I LOVED IT! I have 4 kids yall and we all snuggled up in it and it was glorious! :) I am so happy for you!
Good for you too stand your ground! If you enjoy your lifestyle, that’s all that matters! I enjoy your videos a lot! ☺️ take care ok and give Pippa a hug from us.
Omg, Pippa just looks so relaxed, we all need to be more like Pippa. I had a 1990 Coleman back in 1990 😀It surprised me with how well it did in the wind at times. Of course, I spent a few nights in Camp Ground restrooms but always came back to see the Pop Up just fine. You will be fine in your little Pop Up, they are still one of the best RV choices out there. Also, until you take the bed out of your car, you could still stop for a night at a Rest Area etc . I am with you though, I am all about finding a camp ground.
One couple that does tent camping pull a trailer, now puts a boot on one of wheels. Their trailer got stolen. To protect their replacement trailer, they got a boot in addition to the locks on the hitch.
You and Pippa are living the good life!!🎉 Ignore the negative people and block them. Their lives are so miserable that they have nothing better to do but to criticize others.
Just gotta say I love the filming set up and how we still get to see Pippa’s adorableness in the background! I’m all for making changes but I was really hoping we’d continue to see her in the background and I’m so pleased 😂
I am so tired of this preoccupation with safety. Statistically you are in much greater danger living in a house or apartment. I hear it every day on a VanLife fir women FB page I moderate. God it is so boring and annoying. Thank you Brooke for putting a limit on that. I never knew so many women are timid and fearful; I am amazed. It’s honestly never crossed my mind. I just think about what I want to do and go for it. And I’ll be 73 this month so I guess it wasn’t that dangerous.
People must assume that because you put your life out there, they have the right to tell you what is right or wrong about it. I don’t think they get the idea that you are sharing “your” life and day to day adventures. It may not work for everyone, but it works for you. Keep doing what you do. Negative people focus on negative things so I agree not giving them a second of your air time and keep doing what you do!

Same as if you want to turn it to the right ( very slightly turn it to the left.) But, we really liked having it. Have fun girl 💕
I just love the way you look at things. I love the way you answers the questions you get. I would think just the ability to stand and stretch out would make all the difference. Congrats again. Thanks for sharing and safe travels.
I grew up camping in a pop up. It was also our first rv when I got married. I felt so safe in them. If I wasn't 62 years old and solo I would consider another. But I just don't have the strength. I'm looking for a rig under 2,000 lbs to tow, just to have place to sleep and potty. I love your channel.

Congrats on the pop-up!! 💗 We obviously love it. We have camped in remnants of a hurricane, the pop-up was just fine. If you stay in a campground, the bath houses are very secure as well. You can get a hitch lock, but really thieves look to steal closed Pop-ups that are unattended.
Awesome video. I'm so excited for you and Pippa. Maybe an electric blanket for fall camping in the Midwest. So cozy to wake up under a toasty blanket into the brisk fall air. I'm a little jealous. I love fall camping. Thank you for sharing.
Brooke, I'm so impressed with your knowledge and all that comes along with how you have chosen to live. You go girl! I really like watching your videos and I'm so happy for you and Pippa with your new pop up camper. God bless you and safe travels 🙏❤
I have been camping for over 30 years. We went from tent to pop up to big trailer and now back to pop up. I am trying to convince hubby to go back to tent. I think the bigger the camper the more stuff you accumulate. I like campgrounds with places to go too if a tornado hits. We have been in that situation a few times. We once even stayed in my child’s dorm room. That was a story we still laugh about.
Growing up we camped with a tent. Saved up the money for a camper. Our first pop-up was the Coleman Newport. Then upgraded to a travel trailer. Those were the best times growing up. We loved to camp. I really miss it now. Watching your journey is inspiring and motivating to me to want to get out there solo and live on the road. Now that I'm in my retirement years. ❤🥰 Thank you for your honesty and for sharing your journey. I just love it. 🙏 Pippa, I just love to watch you run around. Makes me want to rescue another furry friend to join me on the road. 🐕
Pop up campers are awesome! Most full timers dismiss them automatically but I love mine and think when I see hard sided camper tours they are paying a lot more for a cramped looking unit. Pop ups are for those who want a luxurious feeling of spaciousness while being ultra minimalist on a budget. Pop ups have drawbacks just like any other unit but tents and tent campers allow people to connect to nature while remaining relatively comfortable. Hard sided walls mostly just give us the illusion of security.
I have lived in a Pop up for the past two years.... They can handle more wind than you would think... Mine is rated for 40 miles per hour sustained wind. You are so right.
I'm so happy for you and Pippa. You have more room and i think thats important for you too have. Ignore the folks who are negative. They probably yearn and are jealeous to have the freedom to go and do what your doing. I'm retired so I pretty much do what I want everyday. More and more people are on the road now than ever in a camper of some kind. More people work from home today than ever before. It's allowing people to spend more time with their families. God bless you and Pippa. Go see the world. Every one deserves to do what makes them happy. I wish you all them best.
So happy for you and Pippa with your new "home." lol....... I actually envy your confidence and the way you have taught yourself to handle so many things on your own. Love watching you two.
There are people who are afraid of everything and worry about all that could go wrong. Thinking through issues and using common sense is the key to your successful life. Husband and I camped for many years, not in a car or a pop up camper, but camping none-the-less and we never had problems with theft. You watch the weather, which we always did. My only advice is that you know what county you are in when you stop for the night and that you always unhook the camper from your car. Weather reports and warnings are often given by county and if you need to quickly leave a situation without breaking camp, you do not need a camper that needs packed up and cranked down before you can leave. You are doing just fine and I admire all that you do to live your best life. Enjoy!
Honestly more often than not living on the road is safe. I’ve been trucking for almost 8 years and only once did I ever feel unsafe. Unfortunately once I’m out of hours I can’t move anywhere, but I still took precautions to keep myself safe. Also as a heads up; if you have a pet on the road, get a sticker or decal made stating that you have a pet inside and place it by the door in case you have to leave them behind to run a particular errand and anything happened while you’re away.
It's funny you say WY about wind storms. That happened to our family in Laramie. My Dad just kind of held up the frame a bit since he was tall enough. My mom was watching from the laundromat lol. This was probably 40 years ago and it's still a great memory we talk about to this day 🙂. I LOVE that you are doing this and letting us be a part of your life. You have a great outlook in everything and you make me want to do this too🥰🥰
Hi Brooke, there are covers that you can get to cover the bunk ends (beds) that will help keep the canvas your little cabin on wheels clean and dry. It will also help with keep with keeping it cooler in the summer and warm in the winter. Pop-up Gizmos is the company to contact or you can make your own from insulated tarps.
Brooke I KNOW you won't let the negativity get to you. My hope for you is that you breathe a nice sigh of relief that you have this camper now ready to live in when ever you chose to and you feel completely comfortable and able to relax ,go hiking with Pippa, cook nice meals and decorate to your hearts contentment! With all the space you've got for you n Pippa now it must be such a nice change! Such a good choice you made and we all are here for it! Safe n Happy camping .
my dad bought this kind of trailer when I was a growing up. I'm pretty sure we got ours in 1982. we had many yrs of great memories of traveling and seeing family in different states. but I was already 12 yrs old so I was at the age that spending time with the parents wasn't cool. 🤣🤣 but I have a lot of great memories.
I love how you just speak your mind, say exactly how you feel, and so be done with it 😊 I could tell by the way you tackled the problems that you had at the beginning that you would fix whatever along the way and move forward. (I admired you for it, by the way) My safety concerns were dismissed by the fact that you've already considered and addressed them.😊 I pray for your safety and wellness anyway, as I did before you got the camper. ❤️
We had a Coleman pop up growing up and watching you brings back those memories. I enjoy your channel. I just started travel nursing and bought a minivan so I can start doing some camping while on assignments with my cat and dog. You are an inspiration and have given me do many invaluable tips. Maybe a pop up is in our future as well... Any thing is possible if we live without fear and are sensible.
I think your doing great. Pippa is such a good dog. But let anyone get you down. You are happy that's what is really important here. Good Girl keep rolling
Sorry people are negative. If anyone watches any of your videos, they will quickly learn just how level headed and travel savvy you are. I love your videos and enjoy traveling with you and Pippa. You and Pippa are so much fun.
I have always thought that someone could live in a pop up and just travel with the weather. All the videos I’ve seen say it can’t be done. I’m so happy to see you doing just that. 🔥 Pop ups are so awesome. I love your videos. Thanks so much for sharing with us ☺️✌🏾💕
Love your videos and practical approach to your chosen lifestyle. You are sensible and prepared. Continue to savor your gentle adventures. You and Pippa are my kind of people.💗💗
I commented on a previous video about our hybrid. I have a suggestion we learned… It’s amazing how much heat is saved putting a curtain across the bed openings. We use the “back” bed as a storage area so no need to really keep it warm. Even a thin basic curtain blocks significant heat going to waste back there. For your set up, if they’re long enough… a tension shower curtain rod and either curtains (insulated even better) or even a shower curtain or two would work very well and be easy to put up and down. Enjoy the new space. Pippa sure seems to have adapted! LOL
Congratulations on your upgrade!! That’s awesome. I just came across your channel about 2 months ago. I’m trying to get up to speed. I love all the information you have. You don’t need a ton of stuff to be happy that’s for sure. Can’t wait till your next video comes out. I don’t understand how people can be so rude and disrespectful. Your living your best life!!
Love your channel. You are so adventurous and yet so common sense and real. Makes me want to try new things. Thanks for sharing. And I love your new home, we camped for years in a pop-up when I was younger.
U have the MOST info, what to do and what not to.....im so glad I found u! gonna stay in my suv at least a year, but I'm CLOSELY watching to see if i want an a frame pop up...
You are a grown woman living the life of her choice, and if others don’t agree they don’t have to watch. You and Pippa seem happy and that’s all that matters! So glad to see you both have so much more space too.
If you head to indiana. Theres a camp ground outside of Evansville called Scales lake. Its really nice and a safe camp ground. If your looking for a recommendation. Have fun. Be safe!
Congratulations on your camper! I’m so happy for you and the “Pipster” having more room to sleep and move around. Happy travels. Ignore all naysayers and negative nellies. You’re an intelligent woman and I trust you know how to take care of your dog!

I am sure Pippa is so happy in her new suite! ❤❤❤ I’m so happy for you guys! How will you park in stealth mode now? Do you plan on staying at a campground permanently now?
I love it. I'm looking to buy a pop up myself..in my 70s this looks like fun. I've seen people live year round in these. My brother used his for hunting in some pretty extreme cold weather
Hi Brooke and Pippa! Your camper looks perfect and your excitement about it is contagious 😄 .. I'm not able to travel, so I live the life vicariously through your own travels! Being prepared (as you are) re safety issues, removes that negative burden from your shoulders. . so you can forget it and get on with some happy camping! Best Wishes Brooke!
I’m so happy you addressed and dismissed those negative people and their comments. I’m new to your channel, subscribed last month. I love your pop up, and agree traveling with the weather is smart. Give Pippa a hug 🤗 for me. Take care.
Brooke, I love that you seem to be able to ignore the negative comments now, or at least not let them get you down. I live by the idea that what anyone else thinks of me is none of my business. I don’t care. That said I am a lot older than you are and it took time to get here. You keep being you and living the life with Pippa.
The lighting in there when the sun is out is so good! I thought you upgraded your camera, but I realized it was good ole Mother Nature providing fabulous lighting.
Brooke I recently found your channel and enjoying your adventures. You mentioned Indiana should you find yourself near Muncie which is east central in location I would be excited to host you for a luncheon or dinner meal and have a conversation regarding car camping. I am a 72 yr old female retired nurse and nature has been calling. Wishing you all the best in your adventures.
Fairly new viewer but I’ve been watching pop camper remodels since you got yours. Hope to see some of this in your channel (hopefully you like color since most seem to use white). Safe travels to you and 🐶
Our pop-up survived an unexpected tropical storm on our beach vacation one year. No damage at all and it was rockin’ with the wind, let me tell ya. Lol So happy you are enjoying your space!
Question. In a lot of "van life" video you hear people say " i live out of my van, not in it" so my question is sense getting the pop up, do you spend more time living in it v/s out of it?
Love it girl!!! You do have more space, more air flow. Just stay safe and live your life to the fullest!!! Hello Pippa, on the bed with his pillow. CUTE. LOVE FROM CHARLOTTE NC
Thanx for sharing your life....I think your AWESOME! I actually have one of these campers out in my yard. And don't use it😳 I really want a set up like Lady Bugout....I'm the same age/generation...my old camper is a bit cumbersome for me
The more I watch you the more I want to pack up & do this with my teen son & our cat. I would choose a pull camper trailer. But it seems fun... Freeing. Cheaper & no neighbors. 😆
Why are people so negative..if this is what she wants and she's happy with it thats all that matters. Just be happy for her...I also own a pop-up camper that i use when we go camping and I love it so much better than a tent...congrats on your upgrade😄😄😄
Can't take my eyes off Pippa on her pile of pillows. That is a dog who knows how to be comfortable!

I just love how you protect Pippa. I think like you on my pets! You and Pippa look so refreshed and peaceful!
So glad I just found you! I’ve been looking at pop up camping full time as well. I follow the weather too as a travel nurse.
We can't live our lives in fear of what might happen. I loved sleeping in a popup. The outside noises always helped me sleep
Thank you for your honesty and for sharing your journey. I just love it. 🙏
Pippa, I just love to watch you run around.
Illusion is the key word!
I have lived in a Pop up for the past two years.... They can handle more wind than you would think... Mine is rated for 40 miles per hour sustained wind. You are so right.
I love how Pippa is always just chillin' in the background. Lol.. love your videos and inspiration to just do it.

No idea why I put HOME in parentheses...... that IS your home! DUH! I'm a dweeb, lol.
lol!
Enjoy!
I have confidence in your common sense, intelligence, and experience. I'm very happy for you. Congratulations 🌹

Ignore the negativity. You always seem so happy. Enjoy your life with Pippa.
You and Pippa look so comfortable and cozy
I love your channel Brooke! You are a breath of fresh air and if I were younger I’d be thoroughly happy to be in your setup.
! Your positivity your smile and the way you choose to live your life is truly an inspiration.

I have always thought that someone could live in a pop up and just travel with the weather. All the videos I’ve seen say it can’t be done. I’m so happy to see you doing just that. 🔥 Pop ups are so awesome. I love your videos. Thanks so much for sharing with us ☺️✌🏾💕
we have had a pop up for about 8 years now and never thought of living in it, following you to see how this is going to work.
I love camping and watching your journey has made me want to do the same. I wish you the best and Ill keep watching our journey!

I love listening to you and then looking over and seeing Pepper so cute
Pippa
I just LOVE getting my dose of seeing PRECIOUS PIPPA!!!! I just love how relaxed she is enjoying her space on her pillow!!! 🐾💗🐾
Love your videos and practical approach to your chosen lifestyle. You are sensible and prepared. Continue to savor your gentle adventures. You and Pippa are my kind of people.💗💗
I commented on a previous video about our hybrid. I have a suggestion we learned…
It’s amazing how much heat is saved putting a curtain across the bed openings.
LOL
You and Pippa make a great team. Pippa is a star camper and I enjoy seeing her sweet face. Enjoy your new camper, Girls!
I have had my 1995 Coleman Taos since 1999. Went camping with son and grandkids still have it and love it. Never any issues.

Love your channel. You are so adventurous and yet so common sense and real. Makes me want to try new things. Thanks for sharing. And I love your new home, we camped for years in a pop-up when I was younger.

Safe travels to you and 🐶
I will not be using white lol, especially not with the dog!
I'm so happy for you! Your place is beautiful.
Our pop-up survived an unexpected tropical storm on our beach vacation one year. No damage at all and it was rockin’ with the wind, let me tell ya. Lol
So happy you are enjoying your space!

Question. In a lot of "van life" video you hear people say " i live out of my van, not in it" so my question is sense getting the pop up, do you spend more time living in it v/s out of it?
I actually spend a little more time inside since it’s kind of like living in a screened in porch with all the canvas open
Love it girl!!! You do have more space, more air flow. Just stay safe and live your life to the fullest!!! Hello Pippa, on the bed with his pillow. CUTE. LOVE FROM CHARLOTTE NC
Bought a Colman pop up camper. Putting flooring down and a few ext..things done.
Thanx for sharing your life....I think your AWESOME! I actually have one of these campers out in my yard. And don't use it😳
I really want a set up like Lady Bugout....I'm the same age/generation...my old camper is a bit cumbersome for me
The more I watch you the more I want to pack up & do this with my teen son & our cat.
