    Azoxystrobin is another great fungicide to use for leaf spot/melting out.. should also be noted to stop watering your lawn immediately if you see this fungus and let it dry out for 5-10 days

    I love all your videos. I think I have melting out or leaf spots after watching. I put down Scotts Disease EX once in May and June a couple weeks ago before watching. How do I know if it's bugs or fungus? Should I add this fungus treatment on top of Disease EX? Do you know anyone in Dallas you can refer me to? Doris

    • @PoloFieldsLawnService
      @PoloFieldsLawnService  Год назад

      Hello Ms. Doris, first of all, THANK YOU for your support. I greatly appreciate you.
      Second, I don't know of anyone in the Dallas area. My apologies.
      Third, if you're using the products from big box stores like Disease-x or Bioadvanced, Disease-x is gonna be your best bet. Now you can spread Disease-x and then spray Bioadvanced on top of it to give it that foliar coverage, but those 2 will be your only options if you're not gonna use a professional product.
      Fourth, if it is a leaf spot disease, you will see black spots on the grass blades. If it's melting out, the grass blade will be yellow.
      Last but not least, if it's bugs like, for example, "grub worms," you will be able to pull the grass up with no straining because they will eat your grass roots. I hope this information helps 🙏🏾

    Great video. When the label says 2oz per 1000 sq ft does that mean per gallon? I have a 4 gallon backpack sprayer so would it still be 2oz?

    • @PoloFieldsLawnService
      @PoloFieldsLawnService  2 года назад

      2oz per 1,000/gallon. So if you have a 4 gallon backpack sprayer and your covering 2,000sqft, you would need a total of 4oz to cover the 2,000sqft(2oz per 1,000). If your covering 4,000sqft with a 4 gallon sprayer then you would need 8oz to cover the entire area.

    Great video! Definitely got a sub from me 💪🏽 I posted this in my local lawn care nuts page and nobody knew what it was. Did this app help out the leaf spot in that lawn? Safe to use with prodiamine or fertilizer? Just put down both of these yesterday & im needing some of this now after finding this under my green grass

    • @PoloFieldsLawnService
      @PoloFieldsLawnService  Год назад +1

      Hello Gally, First, I wanted to thank you for your sub and support.
      Second, that application from the Propiconizole did clear up in a couple of weeks.
      Third, yes, you can tank mix it with Prodiamine or a fertilizer.
      Remember, just because you see some browness of the grass blades down in the canopy doesn't mean that you have a fungus. Some grass blades die off, but the plant produces newer tillers for new grass blades. If you have melting out, it will stand out like a soar thumb because a lot of the tips of the grass blades will have a golden yellow type of color to it. In this video, I show you an area that isn't affected, then I walk into the affected area, and you see how the tips of the grass blades are turning yellow. Hope this helps 🙏🏾

    • @PoloFieldsLawnService
      @PoloFieldsLawnService  Год назад +1

      @@LittlePieceOfHeaven.65 Thank you for your support. Treat for fungus now. The mowing can wait. Most lawns will have trouble areas in them. Either those areas aren't receiving air flow or their near a structure that is holding heat. That's typical in lawns. That's why I say it's also a good thing for you to see these troubled areas because you'll know where they are and will be better prepared for it in the years to come.

    Hi polo I think I'm seeing that in my lawn leaf spot it just started about 2 week or 3 weeks ago when The Lawn Man was cutting the grass it could be that he's spreading it on the grass because my neighbors is like that too now we didn't have that before.would it do any good if I treat my lawn and nobody else treat theirs would it come back or never go away 🤔

    • @PoloFieldsLawnService
      @PoloFieldsLawnService  3 года назад +1

      Treating it will definitely help it to heal and help it from spreading. This disease will affect the whole plant so if it is spreading, it's best to get a fungicide into the plant to stop it.

    propaconazole will create this same effect. I have noticed over 2 seasons using that fungicide as the days warm up, that the leaf blades of turf will start showing that same pattern and color, even when spraying in the evening. Is eagle 20ew less toxic on turf?
