My role in life was, initially, limited where being a bachelor I mainly cared about just myself. Being a husband and father expanded my sense of self worth to include my wife and kids, whereby, caring for their lives was an extension of my own.. I am a "bigger person" because of my family. My families happiness is my life's fulfillment.
I couldn't resonate w/ this more. Once you have your own family, 'purpose' totally evolves into something that's way beyond yourself. Not only is it about your wife and kids' immediate needs being met, but your family's legacy and the mark you leave on the world. Thanks for sharing.
