Chad Coady's iPad Mount

- I had a fellow RV-8 owner, Chad Coady, reach out to me about an iPad mount he was creating on a 3D printer. He asked if he could send me one free of charge to try out and give my opinion on how it looks and works. I told him I would do one better and do a video of my honest opinion. It took a couple of weeks to get designed, printed and shipped but it finally arrived and I'm impressed. Watch the video to see how it looks installed and get my thoughts on it.
If you are interested in one reach out to Chad at coady.chad@gmail.com
He will get you all the details and pricing to have one made for you!

I want one!
I will buy one when they are available.
Thanks so much! I didn’t expect such a detailed video. I already revised the design a bit to add a better friction lock. Thanks for the review! I’ll send you the revised friction locks soon. 👍.
Thanks for sending me this one and making it match the RV-8! I gave it my honest opinion and I think you have a great product! Hopefully you get lots of orders from pilots/builders cause they got to see it here!
Very nice looking!
I’m always impressed with what people do with 3D printing.
It looks very cool and intuitive makes you think why didn't no one did it this way before
Curious if it would also work if mounted above the bar - i.e. behind a theoretical headrest on the pilot’s seat.
I don’t see why it couldn’t!
