Listening to him talk himself into a hole non stop, W going to the scene of the crime then implicating them all, the continual Freudian slips, literally washing the money, not hanging up the jail calls while organising fleeing the country… It’s like National Lampoons Christmas Crime edition
Slammin down his sister! Mom agreeing with everything he's saying. No where does he take any accountability. And he's whining about not getting at least one juror on his side. Dude! It's because you're NOT believable and you're NOT likeable.
I burst out laughing when he said that his testimony "knocked it out of the park" and Mum said "everybody" thought he did well in his testimony. He came across as a carefully practised liar and told a completely ridiculous story about his layaway extortion plan. I look forward to the day when Wendi is the defendant.
I love at 20:55, when Charlie says “I don’t want you guys to give up”, Donna says “We’re not, we’re not”! No, we’re just catching the next one way flight to Vietnam! Sayonara Charlie boy!! She almost made it!! 😂
The arrogance in this phone call is beyond words. Here is a phone call between 3 sociopaths who in their minds think they shouldn’t be held responsible for this crime. It’s absolutely astonishing to me. The tears, the manipulation and the sense of entitlement.
And no one ever says anything about how awful it was that Dan was murdered. They would have mentioned that at some point if they were really innocent. Because it would be a double tragedy.
They have convinced themselves they are innocent. It’s laughable if it wasn’t so sad. These clowns killed a man because his spoiled sister couldn’t stand to have a man who loved her kids more than life ‘holding her back’! Disgusting!
@@dottifuentez3330, He wasn’t holding her back . She could’ve gone about her business and leave the boys with their father . But, she felt her pathetic family would solve her problem by taking Dan’s life . Well now it’s time to pay the piper . The whole family is going to prison .
not sure what is the worst punishment for Donna, her own life sentence in a women's prison or having to take Charlie's calls and listen to him repeat the same BS over and over and over...
So Charlie cries in the beginning and says "this is so wrong! I didn't do this! I'm an innocent man!"....oh wait, he NEVER says those things. Instead he says "I didn't even get one juror to get a hung jury". All technicalities. He's so guilty it's sickening.
I have been thinking the EXACT SAME THING through all of these conversations. This guy has proven his own guilt with his own words!!!! Poor poor him, with no regard for the life he took from Dan’s boys or his parents!
He’s really ruminating on Wendi driving past house. As though everything else was meticulous and Wendi just had to ruin it. He must forget about alllll the other evidence. Funny to listen to.
Yes, very interesting. He's blaming Wendi driving past the house for the reason he got convicted, when in reality that had very little to do with it. Wendi driving past the house reflects on her, not on his guilt. Me thinks the gentleman protests too much!@@Journey188
I’ve listened to hours and hours of the tapes. The most obvious thing imo is that Charlie is pissed at Wendi because she drove to the crime scene. This means obviously she knew and that he blames her, at least in part, for his conviction. That’s why Donna can’t really reciprocate and act angry because it would give Wendi up as a co conspirator. They’re acting like she passed Trescott out of coincidence but it’s so easy to read in between the lines. Charlie’s sitting in prison for life and his sister, who probably knew about everything, is free as a bird with her children. He blames her for going to the scene 1000%. As bad as this murder was, it was essentially done for Wendi and he’s rotting in prison and she’s not. Bottom line.
Charlie had thought he set up a perfect alibi for her with the best buy call. He knew cops would look at her first. He expected her to keep her ass home and wait for a call from cops and go into grieving ex-wife mode. He has also had to listen to her tell cops my brother joked about it. What a dummy and she's a lawyer. She could have easily told cops Im scared for my kids I'm leaving to go get them now. Instead, she stuck around making sure the cops knew they hated Dan badly. Her friend even came in and was bad mouthing Dan while he was still alive at the hospital.
Agree with what you said, and Charlie is delusional if he thinks Wendi driving past the crime scene is the reason he's behind bars. He would have been convicted even if she hadn't driven past it. It's just so weird that he can't get past her doing this.
It’s interesting that it never crosses their minds that the extortion story was laughable from day 1. No defense would have been a far better defense. But it literally never crosses their minds. It’s Wendi driving by the scene that got him locked up.
Because it's probably the first time in their lives for any of them not to have got their own way by using "charm" manipulation and / or flaunting their wealth. If only they'd learnt these lessons ealirr in their lives - then they'd no longer see the world through eyes and brains of toddlers, and reslise its as believable as a story made up by a toddler!
It's not in what he is saying, it's what he is NOT saying! Where is his anger towards Katie for orchestrating the murder and extorting him? Why is he not incensed at being in prison for what he DIDN'T do?
@@Sugarfoot1271 I don't think she knows how to comfort her children. We have to remember that her son is where he is because he was trying to comfort her by killing Dan.
Why doesnt Charlie ever say God why did Katie and friends do this?? They ruined my life!!! He blames everything else except his alleged extortion and their stand alone crime of murder!!
It never occurs to these two sociopaths that Charlie’s own story & testimony was NOT CREDIBLE… They blame Wendi, Georgia, and the Markel’s… They honestly think that this is the Markel’s pushing to get custody of the boys. If it really was the Markel’s would have sued civilly long ago… morons
Yup. If that was the real story he wouldnt shut up about it. They are sooooo guilty. The jury needed no time to discuss. It’s so obvious. The jury wanted to finish their lunch first so it would have been even faster.
She had to be going bat $hit crazy listening to this on repeat after repeat! She's probably thinking in jail, at least I don't have to listen to Charlie.
And to have the nerve to ask for it back. And Donna failing to disconnect the call and dictated her travel plans to Vietnam 🇻🇳. They thought they were so smart and clever. Charlie even told the deputies that they would have to drive him back down to Ft. Lauderdale when they brought him in for the verdict. That's funny.
Oooooh boy! Just 30 minutes in, but so far my take is that at this point, Charlie really wants to incriminate Wendi, but he isn’t quite ready to go all in and incriminate himself in order to really incriminate her. So he’s doing this dipping his toes in passive aggressive incrimination instead. I bet that will evolve and eventually he will come to terms with the fact that he has to admit his part and abandon his other narratives if he really is going to be able to take down Wendi
100%. When Charlie focuses on Wendi; Donna brings up Georgia “dumbing it down;” all for Charlie to bring up Wendi again lol. He must be realllllly mulling over Wendi’s testimony.
@@Baqotayou nailed it! He’s seemingly seething that *_he_* is locked up and she isn’t when he fully believes that her actions (I.e, driving past the scene, Bulleit bourbon, TV repair alibi, etc.) were the nails in his coffin to “losing his life.” If Wendi wasn’t involved and didn’t make the careless mistakes & choices that she did, then maybeeeee, just maybe he wouldn’t be locked up. It’s beyond delusional but it’s incredibly juicy and I do feel he’s wanting to spill the beans but that would affect his appeal. Perhaps he might be thinking differently now that his mom is in custody and his testimony might be worth something. We shall see!
This call is very interesting. Charlie is furious Wendi has got away with it - and her actions are what has convinced the jury he is guilty. Wendi’s days are numbered.
The fact Wendi didn’t call her parents after the verdict nor at least call and ask how Charlie is shows she’s out for herself. She goes on with life, sleeps in her big comfortable bed, eats what she wants and goes where she wants. That’s got to eat Charlie up.
To all Adelson trolls here - if Charlie wants to get his message out there via these calls he should be screaming I'm innocent I got extorted!!! Right now it's looking like even he forgot about this extortion BS and is only complaining he didn't get what he paid for...
He's beginning to unravel. Just wait until he finds out his mother was arrested, while trying to flee to Vietnam. He'll soon be throwing everyone under the bus!
Even Charlie’s impressed with Georgia!!😂 If I were Wendi,I’d take my boys, and leave the country! She’s probably just too scared to. Knows there a good chance, she’s being watched! He’s fixated on Trescott, brings it up in every recording I’ve heard. He clearly feels it was a major mistake,on Wendi’s part! It’ll fester in his mind, and he’ll probably eventually turn on Wendi, especially now that she’s cut them off!
Charlie believes a murder trial is a talent show. Just because he performed well while testifying means in his mind that he should get off. Never mind the evidence of him giving stapled money to the killers of his brother in law.
He’s getting angrier at Wendi. She’s going down! He will turn on her and that will be his plea deal for parole. Wendi ruined the plan by telling Jeffrey about the tv cheaper than hiring a hit man and driving to the crime scene. 😲
@@cynthiaadkins-zj9utthat act is almost as evil as the murdurr. How on earth do you want an innocent person youve known for s few months to go to prison for life (or worse) because your upstanding ex husband wanted his children near him???? Wendi is evil.
Charlie you might have a better chance with the jury if you maintain your silence and let your atty poke holes into the state's theory...Your double extortion (faketortion!) theory is ridiculous...No jury would buy that.
Showing the real ethics of this family - how Donna (and occasionally Harvey from afar) sits here, hour after hour, half-heartedly pacifying her son by throwing out the occasional 'there there dear, stay positive, we're doing all we can' whilst at the same time, knowing that her and Harvey are secretly making arrangements to do a runner and completely abandon the whole of the family...... A snake has more moral compass than this family. No loyalty to one another at all, not one jot. And I still feel Charlie will throw Wendi under the bus eventually.
I hope you're right - and I hope it's before wendi comes up with something to preventively counter it in her cold, manipulative bobble head mouth agape typical nauseating behavior😳 (also gtsy)
Do you think Charlie feels the betrayal deep in the marrow of his soul? I wonder how he felt when he heard that Donna was arrested… at an airport… running from her son in his time of need… ? He may be cold as ice, but that’s gotta hurt. I think he spills it on Wendi soon. He likes vengeance, and that’s the only way he can hit back. His deal will be “stay away from my dad, I’ll give you my sister.”
Wendi is sickening. She wasn't thinking about looking guilty..her only concern was than they killed Dan. Charlie is right. Wendi sealed her coffin. Her mom n dad n Charlie. Than she lied n sd she didn't drive by the scene..really? Please Georgia get Wendi behind bars..Go Dan. I didn't no Dan personally but I feel like I knew of him. What a bright shinning star. Dans boys will eventually realize that it was their own mother..uncle..grandmother n grandpop. They will change their names back to Markel. No way wld they want to be associated with the Adelsons.
I laughed out loud and it was confirmed that Charlie’s narcissism has clouded all reality when he said he gave all his commissary away on the last day of trial because he was sure he was going home. 😂
Right?! And then so cheap and lacking any character, demands it back! The only time an Adelson (Dr bro aside), let’s go of a nickel is to get a better grip. Everything is about $$$ with these people. How’s that working out for them? What a waste.
Charlie is saying that he could have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for Wendi driving by the crime scene and Donna saying TV in the bump. It’s their fault, not his. He just may very well flip on Wendi.
He's an absolute fool for taking most of the blame...he was used by his mother.... However Wendi is absolutely the Ringmaster in the madhouse of Adelson circus.
I feel bad for Charlie, but he turned around and used/exploited Katie in the same vein. Only Wendi and Donna really cared enough about the divorce/custody to murder.
@@JCP58 They only have questionable, circumstantial evidence. Charlie or Donna will have to flip. Dont think Donna will but Charlie is being ignored by Wendi so he may just do her in.
It’s crazy that the evidence is just circumstantial , because I think anybody that would have their sisters ex husband daughters ex husband killed,, and then act like she don’t know, and they didn’t do it! I would be ready for a jail if I found out they plotted to kill my ex husband, but more importantly my kids daddy, behind my back,, No she’s not freaked out over that they done something behind her back, why? Because she knew! What sick individuals can do that to their sons grandsons nephews, how cruel that is, to have done this to those boys! They’re gonna be grown and look back! A see what a horrible family, I pray they change their own last name back to Markel! To carry on their dads name legacy They are not Adelsons
I want to thank this channel for making these calls available. You can really get a read on people by listening to their conversations. My read on these two is bat $#*@ crazy. Raining where I live the last two days and I listen to all of them. Great job on these.
Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Acceptance ... stages of grief. I'd say Charlie is in ANGER stage?! Whoa !! What will bargaining look like? hmmmm May be interesting ....
It’s interesting that he’s ruminating and so fixated on her driving past up to the house…. All along we thought it was bc it was part of the plan. But hearing him so upset about it and beating around the bush and not even saying anything but he keeps going on and on about it makes me think it was as never supposed to happen and wendi did it all on her own and now the reason they’re all caught was it’s HER FAULT not anything he did. He wants to make it clear had Wendi not done that then they wouldn’t have anything but she blew it.
How about her telling cops during interrogation Charlie said hitman , surprised he’s not saying that . I think that was more damaging then her driving by scene of crime.
With what evidence if I may ask? Because today I haven't really seen evidence that she was involved..... I mean circumstantial evidence..... But honestly I don't think it would be enough to convict her.... With Charlie and Donna there's plenty of concrete evidence.. .
If the prosecutor'd had any proof of Wendy's guilt, she would have brought it up in Charlie's trial. She certainly didn't try to hide what they knew about Donna throughout the trial..
well thus far Wendi is still free and not arrested. I do believe she was aware charlie hired a hit on Dan but she has been good at not giving the State sound evidence to have her indicted.
@@AsidebarYou have no idea, what Georgia has planned for Wendi!! Or all the evidence she may have, that we have not heard! She’s smart, and my money’s on her!!💯
Charlie keeps repeating that “everyone” told him how great the trial was going for him. Have you read Plato’s Allegory of the Cave? When your reality only allows filtered information to get through, then your perception of reality is greatly altered. Charlie’s reality was based on the cherry picked information supplied to him by his attorney, parents, and baby mama. Therefore, he is confounded by a verdict that the majority saw coming. 😮 [As a side note, I recommend that you get your information from varied sources that challenge your views and make you critically think, rather than passively absorbing filtered information within a cave.]
That and also maybe a human defense mechanism that you only consider what can harm you the least. A survival technique if you wish. That worked plenty of times in all sort of life threatening situations, where the only difference between a death and a survivor is the sheer will to survive and get it done@@flowerchild71
I agree with you and want to specifically address your side note. I agree with you on this point as well and appreciate the reminder. I've noticed myself leaning towards videos that will support my position, rather than challenge me. I struggle with this, yet the only thing that works for me is watching no videos, which is torture. I'd appreciate your suggestions in this area. Thanks, MaryAnne
The more that I listen to these tapes, Charlie is convinced that Wendi showing up to the crime scene is the reason he got convicted! Never mind "the bump" and the damning phone calls that went from Donna to Charlie to Katie to Seigfred and back again, not to mention the Dolce Vita surveillance that put the nail in his coffin.
Undoubtedly Charlie is feeling like “the fall guy” in the Adelson family during this call. I’m sure he couldn’t imagine at that time that his mom would be joining him in jail so soon. Wendi has played her family like a fiddle. If anyone “breaks” under the pressure I think it will be Donna.
I listen to hime say thatt Wendi cannot fight her way out of a paperbag and think you are so wrong, Charlie. Let see she whined and complained about the divorce and custody details, preying on your mother's need to have her family near her to the point that the mother complained and whined to you until you came up with an idea to give Wendi everything she wanted. Now, you and Mom are in jail, Dan is dead, she has the kids, and her dad all to herself and when he passes away, she will probably enjoy all of the money and never consider seeing or hearing from either of you ever again. So you - life in prison, Donna, in jail waiting to be convicted, Wendi free as a bird doing whatever the heck she wants. Who needs a paperbag when you can do all of that!
Wendi needs a big paper bag to keep all the cash, she is going to get all the money from Harvey, Donna, and Charlie. Plus the life insurance from Dan. She will be a millionaire and free.
Money? That money will be being siphoned off very quickly. What, with Charlie's appeal and now Donnas legal fees? By the time this is all finished there will be no money left. Millions will have gone already.
Your lawyer talked too much while you were on direct. The juror was over both of you by closing. They didn’t need notes or to listen any longer. It’s not their fault. It’s your lawyers.
His little lawyer was terrible. They were both waaaaay to confident with the way things were going. Oblivious to the fact that his story was completely unbelievable- like a 5 year old with chocolate around their mouth saying they didn’t eat the cookies
For supposedly educated people, they are all so thick! Thinking this double extortion "story" was going to be believable and thinking he came across as likeable on the stand just shows how delusional he is. Rot in prison! Justice for Dan and his family.
Donna is clearly not educated in any meaningful sense, and apart from his dentistry training, Charlie seems to be generally dim too.He frequently uses the wrong words, without being aware he's doing it and is generally inarticulate. Both he and his mother sound like a pair of vulgarian gangsters. At one point she talks about someone pulling something "out of his ass". Now, I know this is standard language these days, but this woman is 72 and clearly thinks she has "class". Dear me. Maybe that's what passes for gentility in Miami? I suspect her educational credentials are basic, and she's been so thrilled to have married someone with an "ology" that she's convinced herself that thars as good as having one herself. She's a gold standard dimwit.
They have not a single clue, only the subjects they picked. Who thinks you need to be put at the scene of a crime to be found guilty? It's very much common knowledge you actually don't yet here we are bright spark Charlie thinking you had to do that very thing. Besides, if they were smart they wouldn't have thought they could get away with murder.
If Charlie were innocent in any way he would be angry at *Katie* for getting him into this, extorting him, testifying that he wanted it done etc. Not fixated on Wendi's friggin book and Georgia's phrase "she couldn't help herself." Like, he can't even help his possible appeal enough to figure out how to act like a wrongly convicted man on a recorded line *even after his own words on wiretaps convicted him.* How are his parents unable to shut him up as he torpedoes the family boat over and over?
Bro! It doesn't matter how good you did on the stand if your story makes no sense. You expect us to believe that: Your ex brother in law gets murdered. Then your girlfriend shows up and says; "My friends did that." Then without talking to anyone else to verify her story you just handed her $138000 and paid her $3000 a month until she's arrested. That story is so thin and so unbelievable no one could believe it.
@@deedled4879 I thought he did pretty good on the stand. He was clearly well prepared and well spoken. Unfortunately for him, the well prepared, well spoken story made no sense. But he had an answer for everything to the point where I was worried that one dumbass juror would find reasonable doubt. Thankfully that didn't happen. Also I think him having an answer for everything probably hurt him in the end. But as far as keeping his composure and telling his story, he did way better than I thought he would given the facts of the case. But, everyone reads people differently, so maybe you caught some subtleties I missed.
It would be funny to get Rashbaum on a hot mik saying i cant believe i had to make such a fool of myself in front of this intelligent jury for a million bucks 😂
She was over their house during one of these calls but wouldn't get on the phone with Charlie until she spoke with her lawyer. Charlie told Donna he saw 2 women looking at him in court and he thought they were there bc some women are into people in prison then he realized one of them was Wendi 😂
It's strange how they used the evidence of Wendi's involvement to convict Charlie, yet she's still a free woman. I believe they had planned on arresting Wendi next, but Donna messed that up by going to the airport. There's no way Wendi will get out of this.
I think it turned into that. You are spot on. It was supposed to be a clean get away, but once she dropped the “my brother has this joke” line… it was done.
I tend to agree- I’ve thought that since the very beginning. I thought she played to implicate Charlie, not necessarily Donna. But she’ll do that if she has to save herself- and rationalize it too! I think she’s really a vile human being. She plays men AND women- the worst kind of player. And she plays like she’s so DUMB!! “A bourbon named.. Bullit, I THINK. I don’t drink…. I only knew the way to that ONE liquor store…it’s summer, and trees always fall down..” so she STOPPED her car at police tape, could SEE the mailbox where her babies lived half the time- on the OTHER SIDE.. but didn’t make a call. She made a “K” turn and went to the liquor store where she recalls a random guy telling her how beautiful her eyes were (well, her contacts)🚬🚬🚬. Makes me nauseous 🤮
@staceyanderson2116 he's telling on her indirectly. Why do you think it keeps repeating about her driving to the crime scene 17 minutes out of the way to the liquorstore? He even gives a movie analogy about their plot in this recording. He's mad! 😅
One very compelling reason to believe Wendi will eventually be indicted is that back when the trials were taking place for the two hitman and for Katie, the prosecution had named Charlie, Donna, and Wendi all as unindicted co-conspirators for the murder of Dan Markel. All three of them officially named together and unindicted co-conspirators. Now that the hitmen and Katie have been convicted, the prosecution has moved on to the family that they themselves named as conspirators in the murder. We now have Charlie arrested, indicted, and convicted. Donna is arrested and will be indicted with the goal being to have her convicted. It stands to reason that the prosecution’s intention is to then move on to Wendi next in the same pattern. All three of them officially named together and unindicted co-conspirators.
Before listening to these calls I thought he could deal in jail. But now I doubt it. He’s tethered to Donna. I don’t know how he copes without these daily affirming calls.
He conveniently forgets the scam from the beginning & not coming forward when Dan was killed. Or the recordings post "bump" & their conversations about the cops having nothing.
Charlies anger towards the TV alibi idea also indicate that maybe it wasn't his idea and perhaps it was Wendi's and Donna's, so that they could covertly communicate when the hitmen were on their way. Incidently has anyone hear of Wendi Freudian slip when she nearly blurted out "hitmen were coming" when describing the time the geek squad were coming, to Georgia on the stand? People that have to memorise loads, have things hardwired into their heads and this is why she may have nearly made that error of slipping up
"Well, she's shitting on a small town and then showing up at the scene, I guess, is enough to convict you." That plus transfers of large amounts of cash to some guys who drove 8 hours from Miami to do the job, yeah, Charlie. Yeah.
Didn't he, did he just implicate his sister Wendy in the beginning of this phone call .. Because he said it would be like the mafia guy who got shot in the street and having the guy who got who shot him, show up 30 minutes after the crime to hang around or see you, you know she will happen. He's comparing a mafia guy who got shot in the middle of the street to his sister showing up at the scene driving by 17 miles out of her way. That sounds like an implication because he's probably angry. He's in jail now for the rest of his life because of her so she should pay he's comparing . Guilty people to guilty people he's not trying to compare his sister to ann8nnocent person and like the murder because he's saying how she went 17 miles out of her way to buy liquor , but like how many liquor stores did she pass up in 17 miles?? And detoured past her x husband house the morningbhe was arranged to be murderd.Don't and how far away is it to go? She probably passed a bunch of liquor stores. Also, then she shows up and then she's got an alibi because the tv guy was there, And the TV guy was there for 2 hours, so there she's got an alibi or whatever and then there was a weird phone call, and then you know all the stuff she said to her ex-boyfriend, Jeff, who is completely believable. And then if you watch who's a behavior guy out here who analyzes her behavior oln you tube ..and he literally says she literally says to the cop before she even knows why they called her in there. They called here coming to the police station, but she had no idea why she was calling to the police station and then she says she immediately breaks so crying like you don't like your x husband that you hate. I like it doesn't make sense so within a way as years. The other thing too she said. To the cops because all She says this to the cop she says, oh, I'm afraid on the way over that you were thinking, I would be a suspect like. How could you a suspect a suspect, how could you be a suspect for something you don't even know it occurred yet, like that, right? There is a mess up. She did so bad and she's gonna have to come an with an explanation for it when she watches that on RUclips so she can uncover her AS. S Also, she Wendy, also, he's sitting there in the beginning of this conversation. Comparing it to some guy so mafia also guy who guys shot is in the middle of the street, and he said it would be like like the same comparing, Wendy showed up the season and crime, the same way like the killer who would show up 30 minutes later, after he shot the guy like in the street, the the mafioso guy. Who actually like so the guy who actually did it can'tvey it to look and he's comparing it to Wendy. So like he's comparing to guilty people to guilty people, not innocent people to innocent people he's comparing that. Analogy to somebody who actually committed a murder. Not to somebody who was innocent. So either he said his sister all right there I think he's setting his sister up right there so he can't because he's p***** that he got guilty and she's gonna walk. So he's like giving them like bread crumbs to catch her like because you know this was all her wasn't for her he wouldn't be in jail right now, wasn't for her and her ex, husband and her choices and men or whatever you don't excuse me saying he wouldn't be in jail right now. So I think he'll do it. That's like I set up. Be like in in jail to get arrested. And good for him because he did anything decent in this whole thing, he is implicated his sister because she stood golfrey. Ah his mother's going to be arrested he's gonna be rested and like
Gigi you are a force! A force for justice! A force for victims that cant speak for themselves. You have put these wire taps out like its nobody's business. These people are delusional at best. Pretty soon Charlie and Donna are gonna turn on each other and/or Harvey. No mention of the boys' well-being... just poor me.
Thank you for putting these calls up. I think reality is slowly dawning on Charlie. Wendi set him up and played her mom like a fiddle as well. Wendi is next. I wonder if she is making a run for it. I think if Wendi takes off (with Ben and LIncoln) She will travel under the radar.
If Wendi is arrested you'll know the state has the goods. I can't imagine Wendi putting her children through the public humiliation of yet another family member trial when it's obvious that their house of cards has fallen in. If she tries to flee the country now, she may have to do it solo because I can't imagine her teenage kids would want to go along with such a plan.
This just proves "Money doesn't buy everything". The millions for the pro jury selector, the million dollar attorney, compared to the man in the story with the public defender that was acquired, ya Charlie that story proves that jury's are different from case to case, the reason you didn't have one juror on your side is because your Guilty and your defense could not convince from your fabrication you were not. You still never declare your innocence! You tell no woman you love them, only your dog, your son isn't even worth more lip than your dog. Your not cursing out sig, Katy, Louise? Hmmmm, or talking about why they didn't believe the extortion? All your doing is caring blame on the same thing over and over and over again like a broken record. An innocent person ephod be screaming as loud as they can they got it wrong because "I'm innocent" what's wrong? You can't do that because you know it's not the truth so pathetic!!!!

Hysterical and true omg you can’t make this shit up . A family that had it all to this just Wow
Disgusting!
The Smoking Gun, Charlie.
@@dottifuentez3330,
He wasn’t holding her back . She could’ve gone about her business and leave the boys with their father . But, she felt her pathetic family would solve her problem by taking Dan’s life . Well now it’s time to pay the piper . The whole family is going to prison .
@@Theresa89 Bingo! You are exactly right!
not sure what is the worst punishment for Donna, her own life sentence in a women's prison or having to take Charlie's calls and listen to him repeat the same BS over and over and over...

So Charlie cries in the beginning and says "this is so wrong! I didn't do this! I'm an innocent man!"....oh wait, he NEVER says those things. Instead he says "I didn't even get one juror to get a hung jury". All technicalities. He's so guilty it's sickening.
Charlie fairy tale on extortion was not believable. The evidence proved he was guilty of hiring the hitman.
I said the exact same thing while listening to his NONSENSE 😂😂😂😂
I think he thought he was justified!
I have been thinking the EXACT SAME THING through all of these conversations. This guy has proven his own guilt with his own words!!!! Poor poor him, with no regard for the life he took from Dan’s boys or his parents!
@@RussBiehn Agreed. As Wendi said - somebody might have done this thinking that they were doing good.
He’s really ruminating on Wendi driving past house. As though everything else was meticulous and Wendi just had to ruin it. He must forget about alllll the other evidence. Funny to listen to.
Perseverating ad nauseum
He is hyper focusing on that for some reason it is very, very interesting
Yes, very interesting. He's blaming Wendi driving past the house for the reason he got convicted, when in reality that had very little to do with it. Wendi driving past the house reflects on her, not on his guilt. Me thinks the gentleman protests too much!@@Journey188
@@Journey188because he's about to give her up
Im starting to think he’s gearing up to flip on windy
I wouldn't be surprised if he made a deal to turn on her!
@@msbrown8344that's inevitable. He's resenting her more and more with each passing day sitting in that cell.
If the parents weren’t alive I almost have no doubt he’d turn once his appeal is denied.
Exactly! And they know that Wendi went to the scene and that's what will get her convicted!
But it makes perfect sense if only you're not moronic low class trash from Tallahassee.
/s
That waas what got Charlie convicted.
hope so it is very odd and her odd story about liquor store@@momentofimpact6227
Because it's probably the first time in their lives for any of them not to have got their own way by using "charm" manipulation and / or flaunting their wealth. If only they'd learnt these lessons ealirr in their lives - then they'd no longer see the world through eyes and brains of toddlers, and reslise its as believable as a story made up by a toddler!
And you handing over 125,000 cash and then sleeping with her had NOTHING to do with it neither did the bump. Moron is too kind for Charlie
Just dating her is hard to comprehend, as Jeff LaCasse implied after he met Katy who blabbed about her criminal husband.
Yeah Chaz we’ll just ignore that u can’t keep it in your pants
He;s both blind and deluded.
It's not in what he is saying, it's what he is NOT saying! Where is his anger towards Katie for orchestrating the murder and extorting him? Why is he not incensed at being in prison for what he DIDN'T do?
Exactly. I’ve been listening to his droning on for 2 full days and not once have I heard him say “extortion” or “Katie”
Agreed
Exactly this. Why isn’t he looking for ways to find new evidence to back up his story?
baloney about Katie it’s all the Adelsons
he's more mad at Wendi, that's pretty funny,
Does anyone else listening to these recordings picture Donna scrolling thru Zillow looking for places in Vietnam while Charlie is talking!?!
Yes ! She’s totally disinterested in what he’s saying. It rough listening to a woman feign love for her child knowing she is planning betrayal.
HAHAHA!! 🤪
She doesn't try to comfort him in the least. That amazes me
😂😂😂😂😂
@@Sugarfoot1271 I don't think she knows how to comfort her children. We have to remember that her son is where he is because he was trying to comfort her by killing Dan.

This!
Blames he’s sister which he should and what he don’t realize it the wire the calls the money not ur sister who set u up
It never occurs to these two sociopaths that Charlie’s own story & testimony was NOT CREDIBLE… They blame Wendi, Georgia, and the Markel’s… They honestly think that this is the Markel’s pushing to get custody of the boys. If it really was the Markel’s would have sued civilly long ago… morons
Yup. If that was the real story he wouldnt shut up about it. They are sooooo guilty. The jury needed no time to discuss. It’s so obvious. The jury wanted to finish their lunch first so it would have been even faster.
Does anyone else get the impression that we are listening to Charlie more intently and purposefully than his own mother is?
She had to be going bat $hit crazy listening to this on repeat after repeat! She's probably thinking in jail, at least I don't have to listen to Charlie.

Well, he doesn't ever shut up and repeats the same things over and over ad nauseum. She probably learned to block him out 45 years ago
Hilarious that he was so confident he gave away his commissary! What a tool!
The more Charlie brings up Wendi, the quieter and quieter the parents get. I can feel them saying, "Don't say this, Charlie, it isn't wise."
I thought the exact same thing
@@lindseyhendrix2405let’s not forget Wendi mentioning Charlie’s name as a suspect early in the interrogation.

We’re all hoping so 👍
Yep!! And it’s going to fester in his mind daily! He clearly believes Wendy is why he was convicted!💯She’s in trouble!😂
The fact Wendi didn’t call her parents after the verdict nor at least call and ask how Charlie is shows she’s out for herself. She goes on with life, sleeps in her big comfortable bed, eats what she wants and goes where she wants. That’s got to eat Charlie up.

That could very well explain why he can't seem to let this go, Wendi driving to the crime scene. He is so irked by that and can't seem to get past it.
Wendy showing up at the crime scene and then it turns out my girlfriend’s ex is the hitman, what a coincidence 😂
ALL of the Adelsons (except for the estranged son) are complicit in the death of Dan Markel imo.
Also the stapled money that Donna and Harvey dropped off at Charlie’s house the night of the murder. Another coincidence.
Charlie knows the phone calls are recorded there..seems he’s trying to convince the listeners hes innocent
Not even an ex she was doing both of them at the same time. Well, you know what I mean.

I think professional is not a good word for his abilities
Charlie believes a murder trial is a talent show. Just because he performed well while testifying means in his mind that he should get off. Never mind the evidence of him giving stapled money to the killers of his brother in law.

Prosecution is walking charges thru the family. Once Donna is convicted, Harvey or Wendi is next. Each trial will reveal more evidence.
He’s getting angrier at Wendi. She’s going down! He will turn on her and that will be his plea deal for parole. Wendi ruined the plan by telling Jeffrey about the tv cheaper than hiring a hit man and driving to the crime scene. 😲

He's in the process of doing it at this juncture. Trust me! 😁 😉

I hope you're right - and I hope it's before wendi comes up with something to preventively counter it in her cold, manipulative bobble head mouth agape typical nauseating behavior😳 (also gtsy)
Perfectly said.
Watching all these calls and I’m more fascinated by the things they DON’T say…
Yep thats more interesting than the five topics they rehash endlessly. They are very careful about what they say.
I hate to be the one to point out of the obvious, but maybe don’t murder people if you don’t want to go to jail…

Yep, Charlie even says, "She just couldn't help herself."
Be honest Chuck there was a lot more evidence than the TV and Wendi driving by the scene. Funny how he doesn't talk about that.
He has no deal to make. But Donna does.
Very true. He forgets about the mountain of other evidence and the fact that he had the means, opportunity and motive to commit the crime.

Yes, and he's not considering all of the other much much worse damning evidence. He's so hyper-focused on this, it is just very strange.
How about her telling cops during interrogation Charlie said hitman , surprised he’s not saying that . I think that was more damaging then her driving by scene of crime.
Thank you for seperating these calls. It makes them much easier to listen to. Ditto for the captions!
Wendi will be in jail in 2024 if not sooner…..
I reckon too,, tbh she should have been first in IMO

With what evidence if I may ask? Because today I haven't really seen evidence that she was involved..... I mean circumstantial evidence..... But honestly I don't think it would be enough to convict her.... With Charlie and Donna there's plenty of concrete evidence..
.
Why do you think she will be in jail?
If the prosecutor'd had any proof of Wendy's guilt, she would have brought it up in Charlie's trial. She certainly didn't try to hide what they knew about Donna throughout the trial..
I’m not surprised these ppl are turning on each other. Wendi thinks she’s smarter than everyone 😏

[As a side note, I recommend that you get your information from varied sources that challenge your views and make you critically think, rather than passively absorbing filtered information within a cave.]

They didn’t take notes because they knew it was bullshit Charlie
The more that I listen to these tapes, Charlie is convinced that Wendi showing up to the crime scene is the reason he got convicted! Never mind "the bump" and the damning phone calls that went from Donna to Charlie to Katie to Seigfred and back again, not to mention the Dolce Vita surveillance that put the nail in his coffin.
Yeah and the 135k he paid lol
Wow! Didn't take long for his jaws to start flappin'!
How dumb is Wendi?
Drive by scene and then act shocked during interrogation
Undoubtedly Charlie is feeling like “the fall guy” in the Adelson family during this call. I’m sure he couldn’t imagine at that time that his mom would be joining him in jail so soon. Wendi has played her family like a fiddle. If anyone “breaks” under the pressure I think it will be Donna.
I was just wondering if Donna was in there making deals…
It’s his own damn fault for setting this catastrophe in motion.
His little lawyer was terrible. They were both waaaaay to confident with the way things were going. Oblivious to the fact that his story was completely unbelievable- like a 5 year old with chocolate around their mouth saying they didn’t eat the cookies
Thank you to Gigi for the work uploading these calls! Excellent quality.
💯!!! They’re SO dense!
Charlie is obsessed with Wendi driving to the crime scene
Bro! It doesn't matter how good you did on the stand if your story makes no sense.
You expect us to believe that:
Your ex brother in law gets murdered.
Then your girlfriend shows up and says; "My friends did that."
Then without talking to anyone else to verify her story you just handed her $138000 and paid her $3000 a month until she's arrested.
That story is so thin and so unbelievable no one could believe it.
And remember Dan was not Dead yet, he died early the next day.
Also the no 1 fact.
Its a lie!
Also he didn’t truly do great on the stand. The way he responded to Georgia revealed what kind of person he really is.
Listening to him drone on is more of a punishment lol
These people are so unbelievably arrogant they are blind to how f'ing guilty people can see they are. It's all everyone else's fault. Unbelievable.
Wow! Hes really dropped Wendi in it now. Hes mad ...she was at the scene of the crime yet she lied
Dan thought he was driving him home says Donna. Yeah right. I don't think so
Charlie shouldve just rolled on Wendi to begin and gotten a deal for himself and Donna.
Charlie is a world class _TALKER_ . He should feel _at home_ in jail because jails are full of talkers and con-men.
It's strange how they used the evidence of Wendi's involvement to convict Charlie, yet she's still a free woman. I believe they had planned on arresting Wendi next, but Donna messed that up by going to the airport. There's no way Wendi will get out of this.
Charlie is putting the puzzle pieces together. He is totally throwing Wendi under the bus and his mom for saying tv.
Him laughing on the stand over something so silly made him even more unbelievable to me.
So Charlie refers to Dan Markel's murder "this will be the fourth trial for this sh*t"
Funny enough I had read "on this ship" in the video, which I tought was also a correct expression. Like "this ship has sailed" lol
Maybe Wendi has played everyone
That's exactly what Wendi has done. She used everyone and like a true narcissist she has discarded them all.
I think your right there,
I think it turned into that. You are spot on. It was supposed to be a clean get away, but once she dropped the “my brother has this joke” line… it was done.
Wendi seems like a physcopath
Bye-bye Wendi 🎉
Why do you think Wendi will be arrested?
@staceyanderson2116 he's telling on her indirectly. Why do you think it keeps repeating about her driving to the crime scene 17 minutes out of the way to the liquorstore? He even gives a movie analogy about their plot in this recording. He's mad! 😅
I don’t think so, but it would be nice!
He’s known for repetition! That came out at trial! @@LisaRN00775
The one thing I've not heard in all these phone calls is either of them saying they are innocent. Odd 🤔
I can totally see Charlie and Wendi flipping on each other at this point, neither of them is willing to actually do life in prison for the other.
They will not be able to deal with jail/prison! They are going to flip. Undoubtedly
100% Charlie will flip...no question...Wendi's days are numbered...
People that have to memorise loads, have things hardwired into their heads and this is why she may have nearly made that error of slipping up
Yes. I caught that
"Well, she's shitting on a small town and then showing up at the scene, I guess, is enough to convict you."
That plus transfers of large amounts of cash to some guys who drove 8 hours from Miami to do the job, yeah, Charlie. Yeah.
These calls are amazing. Thank you so much for putting them together in such great order.
Thanks GiGi for all your hard work!!
So we’re just going to skip over the part where you were paying the hitmen on layaway. Her showing up to the scene was the least of your problem.
Guilty people to guilty people he's not trying to compare his sister to ann8nnocent person
and like the murder because he's saying how she went 17 miles out of her way to buy liquor , but like how many liquor stores did she pass up in 17 miles??
Wendi didn’t know. That’s why they are talking over and over about this being so coincidental
@@s.l.8054Um. She did know. They are blowing off steam regarding Wendi in their cryptic family way.
Most likely watching her
If Wendi is arrested you'll know the state has the goods. I can't imagine Wendi putting her children through the public humiliation of yet another family member trial when it's obvious that their house of cards has fallen in. If she tries to flee the country now, she may have to do it solo because I can't imagine her teenage kids would want to go along with such a plan.
@@s.l.8054wow! You’re 1/100, totally missed the point
One word for Charlie that he seems to have forgotten: Dolce
lol, he never mentions that.
Or Katie - he never mentions Katie
Or paying her money
Great point, and also Luis Rivera had a public defender, and he got the lowest sentence and the best deal
All these hours of calls in 1 day?? Is Charlie manic? Spiraling?
He's definitely losing his cookies. It's hard to listen to someone lose their mind in real time.
He just keeps repeating himself over and over, day after day. Wow 😳
He is definitely losing it
Yes and imagine now he can’t get to Donna to get all his obsessive thoughts out.
They spoke over a hundred times over the course of these few days.
That coincidence speech will be in the prosecutor’s opening statement when Wendi is tried for murder. Thanks Charlie 😅
Just let the Adelsons continue blabbering away and incriminating themselves in these phone calls...
He’s not letting go of Wendi driving by the scene of the crime!!! He’s going to flip on her!!!
Every time Charlie is talking to his mom on these calls, I look at the screen and see Donna’s crazed expression, cracks me up.
🤣🤣
Gigi , I hope you understand what you have done here! The captioning is priceless!! You are a genius! You can bet Georgia is watching!
