Happy to see all the recent Mork Borg content! You probably don't remember, but I left a comment (and we had a brief exchange) plugging Mork Borg back on your Super Blood Harvest video. And to think, you had almost decided to give up on the art-centric ttrpgs!
Good job with those music reviews every record was a gem and you really smashed them very detailed expressive reviews great my bloody valentine shout as well seen them live a few times and its like being a goldfish thats within a rocket ship taking off with the astronaut trying to sing to you whilst you are also on a comedown
Totally has a similar prog vibe. But, IMO, better. :) I always end up liking about 1/2 of an Opeth album. The only albums I like completely are Damnation, and their latest, In Cauda Venenum, which is my favorite of theirs.
I doubt that will happen as most of the stuff comes from dozens of different people and publishers. For me, part of the fun is buying the little books that are interesting. However, with almost all of it being available as PDFs, you could very easily put together your own book and print it!
@@TheDungeonDive I looked into this recently, and my local print shop can only print & staple bind up to a certain size. Any recommendations for anything larger?
Can't imagine you haven't heard of them, and their albums are way more "goofy" and less focused than a lot on your list here, but I have to plug Old Nick and the side-project, Weeping Coffin.
I have not. But most likely because there are like 40 new metal albums released every week these days. :D. So much to listen it’s impossible to keep up.
@@TheDungeonDive I hear ya -- i missed most of the stuff on your list. I discovered Old Nick quite late (possibly from someone on the BGG DD Guild??) but their stuff feels pretty fun and unique -- more lofi "rock" sounding than a lot of death metal, but they've got the aesthetic down pretty well.
The Mork Borg art is AMAZING! Totally new to me.... thanks for this, Dan! Also, I can't wait to listen to these records!
Oh yeah. It's the black metal satanic devil art game. LOL. It's great.

Yeah! Luckily I got into solo RPing since then, so it saved the genre for me! Solitary Defilement is fantastic.
Just listened to your 5 recommendations. Awesome!!!
Glad you like them!
Really enjoyed your bonus metal content :-)
I absolutely love Author/Punisher!
But I had somehow, sadly, forgotten the name. Thank you so, so, so fucking much for mentioning it. Thank you.

I saw MBV once. My god. They were so damn loud. Rattled my bones! It’s so cool to see all these black metal bands embracing the shoegazer sounds.
Love your content. Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Great video! Love the Mork Borg content :D
There are so many MB supplements out there! Thanks for this preview!
Yep! That's the beauty of their open 3rd party license. Love it.
Definitely getting some early years Opeth vibes from Wilderun

I would live to see one nice big THICC mork borg book with all the stuff collected into it

Anyone remember those little books that came in a cracker jack box? I think we have arrived at that scale.
I have some of these, and they are reminiscent of the old style 'zines put out by fans of punk bands. Very cool.
Author and Punisher is soooooooo good! Didn't even know you were into metal! hah! Check out Godflesh's New Flesh in Dub if you haven't already.
Great album!
I can't seem to find Solitary Defilement anywhere. Will I be able to play solo quests without it?

I love Mork Borg and I’ve never even played it
I completely understand that. I read more of it than I play, and also love it. :)

Listening to them now. Very lo-fi, DIY sound.
Sounds like a play on Gary Gygax. Hag of a Gygone Age.
Can you explain difficulty ratings to me, please?
It what context?
🤟🇮🇹
War Pigs ?
What is this in context to?
