I really appreciate these recent videos. This to me demonstrates that you don’t need a big fancy production to enjoy a solo rpg gaming experience. I’m also keen on trying out Mork Manual.
Daniel, you’re such an inspiration, I got started on solo RPG with forbidden lands thanks to you. compared to the experience I have with dungeon crawls it’s like night and day, I don’t see time pass its a really rewarding experience
Just received my copy!! Will certainly give it a go at some point!! Really enjoying your playthrough/solo campaign! I hope you have a nice holiday! Jambo seems like a nice sidekick!
Aww hell yeah more from our Boy at the Dungeon about to Dive in :-P Yeah I know il see myself out ha thanks again bud you are amazing for all of this stuff and have helped me massively!!
Last year was god-awful, this one managed to be even worse. The next one could swing either way; could really use some Christmas miracles there... Dear world, you're sick; please, please get better. Here's to survival, and to escapism that makes it bearable. Happy holidays.
Inspiration on how to mix and match. Thank you so much! Would love to see you use Table Fables with Mork Borg, as I have both of those (if you haven't already).
I just ordered the two Vermis books and was fortunate to have actually been reminded about checking up on if the first one's new printing and I was able to get it. Anyway, I think I'm going to order that new Morkborg book but I think I'm going to just get PDF and have the office depot print it and bind it for me. That way maybe I can have a larger sized version made. I really liked to have the nice hardcover version but I don't need to spend the bigger bucks on that if I'm not going to play with it that often, but I like having a spiral bound format so it can lie out flat and I don't have to put it in my book holder or lay weights on top of it. Lol
Finally finished this video. What a great adventure! Thanks for the reading recommendation too. I really need to start reading some Lord Dunsany - if I am correct, his stories are all in public domain so I wonder if there is any solo rpg games based on his stories
The joy of binding books is I don't feel bad writing in them. There is something different about writing in a book I purchased compare to one I spent time binding. Great video and have a great holiday season.
@@TheDungeonDive LOL I guess at the end of the day they are books of knowledge and why not add your own. It has been great watching your videos and can't wait to see what you have planned for 2024.
@TheDungeonDive thanks for the quick response. I checked out some online geneators based on each so probably will pick them both up. I'm just starting to build up my random tables so checking out your and geek gamers' recs
Also, thanks for this vid. I never thought about running non-solo specific ttrpg with one person (mostly due to the Conan example you give in the first few minutes).

Thanks for caring about mental / physical health!!❤
My pleasure! It's important to think about.

Excited to dig into this…Ynn is one of my top 5 all-time adventures.
It’s such a great setting.
Nice job pulling in Ynn.
Happy holidays!
Happy holidays! Gardens of Ynn is great!

It's been a rough time for a lot of us. That's why I value these excursions into worlds of fantasy.
Not sure if I missed it in this video, but I hope you check out the Stygian Library!
I just noticed that Mörk Manual uses Agility for ranged combat, which I find much more intuitive than Mörk Borg's use of Presence for ranged combat.
A nice little difference there.
Mork manual is so good! Glad to see a solo play with it. Die where very rad I'll need to pick some up

Great video again Daniel, thank you!
Glad you liked it!

PS: those dice r cool.I will check into those too. Seems like a good tool for solo play really.

Dunsany's literature is in public domain.

I'll share a little secret - I write and highlight in a lot of my purchased books. ;)

Merry Christmas Divers ❤
Happy holidays!
Merry Christmas!!
Merry Christmas to you, as well. Have a great day!
Mork Borg isn’t my cup of tea, but I really enjoy your play throughs.
Thanks! What do you prefer?
Lately I’ve been messing around with the Dragonbane solo rules and adventure generator, and am looking forward to the SoloDark rules for Shadowdark.
@@TheFatalTDragonbane is good!
Do characters begin the game with Scrolls on which to spend their daily Powers? Or do the have to find them along the way?
Some do. Depends on the class. They might also start with powers they can use like scrolls.
Haven't finished the video, but have you looked at Emmy's Stygian Library? If so, what are your thoughts compared to Gardens of Ynn?
Have not.

Is this Gardens of Ynn somehow connected to the old D&D cartoon episode with the Garden of Zinn?
No idea!
