Kreese wasn't interested in the Sekai Taikai in the flashback with Silver. I like that now Silver's in jail, Kreese is getting back at him by stealing his ultimate ambition for Cobra Kai.
Stealing Cobra Kai from Sensei Silver? Am I reading your comments right? Sensei Kreese is the one that taught Sensei Silver at least some of what he knows about the Martial Arts. It is surmised, though, that Sensei Sato, from ages past, taught both Sensei Kreese, and Sensei Silver, what they know today, and they had the basis for learning the Martial Arts from their Superior in the Army. You know:The guy that Sensei Kreese defeated, by showing him no mercy, at the fight to the death on that narrow bridge, where Sensei Kreese caused his opponent to fall into a ditch filled with Venomous Snakes. Is it any wonder, then, that Sensei Barnes, who had studied, learned, and fought in this extremely dangerous form of Martial Arts, is going to train these students of both Sensei Larusso, and Sensei Lawrence, so that they can be truly prepared?
