Not exactly. Jacob can do a kip up. It's just the fact look how high he elevated when he did it. They used the wires to make it seem like he got up higher
Billy was always very talented imo. He made those spinning heel kicks look so effortless fluid and powerful all at the same time in the first movie

Yuji Okumoto as Chozen Toguchi is by far my favorite character, his arc from KK2 through season 5 of Cobra Kai feeds my heart, especially when his inner bad a$$ comes through, thank you for each smile you gave me.
He really explained the thought he put into his own character arc on Jacob and Xolo's podcast! It was very interesting to hear how much was him and how much was the writers.

You can tell Jacob and tanner are best friends in real life as well. I have never seen tanner laugh so hard and so much to anyone other than Jacob! They have the best chemistry man😂

Who else have been rewatching the series before the new season?
I must confess im a little fearful about the new season. This season 6 trailer made me feel nothing and all this talk about the stunts. The fights dont need to be perfect just continue the way they have been. Cobra Kai delivered us 5 amazing seasons. The stakes are too high.
Forget about the stunts, the storyline is the most important thing and the writers did everything perfect so far.
Im hoping they do not lose direction.
Must thank and mention the cast which also have been perfect, without this people nothing would have worked.
10/10 so far, please just one more time.
I thought it looked to be perhaps one of the best seasons yet. Agreed about the fights.
I already started feeling nothing after the 4th season it feels like every season has the same story they just switch the characters

I'm so glad he's been given the chance to shine as the main hero of this series. This is 3 dimensional writing done right. Billy seems to have taken the role 40 years ago to heart and him living the life of Johnny essentially in real life really shows in the show

@@roronoauchiha69 I would argue it's back to Sam. Last two seasons cemented Robby as leaving Miyagi. Tory as Kreese's is a nice touch of humanization. And the young kid was silver's but they tossed him out a bit quick
Speculation: perhaps Miyagi killed someone during his youth using karate, and that killing ignited the long feud between Miyagi do and the Kims.

Chozen said Kim became known during the Korean War and miyagi left Okinawa before the world war, so would be a plothole
Maybe the secret scroll that chozen guarding is killer technique
Judging by what was said in this, Daniel definitely finds out something or finds something that makes him question everything about Mr Miyagi and sends him down a seriously dark path, but it also sounds like he comes to the realisation that Mr Miyagi maybe HAD to kill someone through karate or something, and he might HAVE to do the same eventually, and Daniel finally realises Miyagi Do was taught to him as defence only so he didn’t make the same mistake Miyagi did, because let’s face it, we know through Chozen and the scrolls that it’s not ment to be defence only…

He even talked about it once:
Go back and watch KKI. While Miyagi was drunk on his wedding anniversary, and wearing his Army uniform, he acted out his memory of when he got word of his wife's death in childbirth...
...he specifically mentions personally killing Germans.
Whether he used Miyagi Do Karate to do it or not, it's obviously something that stuck with him.

Maybe it happens but only for a small moment, Miguel in season 5 was INCREDIBLE, I don't think that this final season they will nerf him again to make Robby better, Miguel is the best at being 100 percent and we know it
@cesaranibalochoa3454 Miguel was super strong in S5!! I don't see why they would change something like that in the final season. They've been teasing a lot of good with Robby this season than Miguel so it just worries me little.

@@TheRealRickGrimes honestly at this point y'all gotta realize Miguel isn't the only main character anymore. Just because we saw him first doesn't make him anymore important than the other kids. That being said they won't end the show with Miguel not at 100%. It was necessary in s4 to develop his arc but now if he goes through his struggles this season, he'll overcome it at the end

I actually liked Karate Kid II more than the original, and Chozen was a big part of why:
He wasn't just an angry, spoiled Valley dude (sorry, Johnny)...Chozen was only a teenager, and already he was teaching martial arts to American Military Police.
He was the real deal. He would have killed Daniel if he could have...

Robby is a two time Finalist... He never got his chance to win a tournament without being cheated and he suffered more and was more alone. One thing I can't wait to see for Season 6 is Shawn and Kyler. I know we saw them in the trailer but I hope their in the season more than just that. I know Miyagi-Do doesn't seem like for them but it wasn't for Tory at the time but now she and a good handful of the former Cobra Kai students joined the dojo so maybe Shawn and Kyler will join as well. Again, just my opinion. I could be wrong, but it will be a cool idea.

Yeah, and instead of Christine, Demetri falls in love with one of Miyagi's old cars. And fixes it up. Then slowly stops coming to the dojo, missing practice, etc. Until the group (Hawk, and others devise a plan/intervention to get him back).
