      @@WiltshireTutorials OK. There's a tidbit that you might be aware of: Since that horrible Verge video of Stefan Etienne building his PC so wrong, if he were to come into my repair shop and ask me what's wrong with his rig, I'd point out a lot of items that were so improperly installed that it would take me no more than 44 minutes to fix. Why? Since April 2018, I am a fully certified CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ technician. I could easily identify a lot of the components that were improperly installed inside the Corsair Crystal 280 case that it's an easy fix (It's a MicroATX case).

      @@WiltshireTutorials It's not easy at first, but it gets you the starting block of the IT industry. It's just learning the PC lingo that throws anyone for a loop. Whenever I disconnect portable media, a "USB attached Storage (UAS) SCSI" shows up on each and every virtual ejection of such portable media. I was like "SCSI... something tells me that it's an acronym of the Small Computer System Interface" and when I looked on Wikipedia for that acronym, it is Small Computer System Interface. Also, the exam is not that hard when one has some learning experience; one just needs to pass both parts of the A+ certification exam to be A+ certified for 3 years.

    • @WiltshireTutorials
      @WiltshireTutorials  4 года назад +1

      I've taken a 'mock' A+ certification practice test and I passed it. Like you said, it's pretty easy, if you continue to keep up with all the new interfaces and their names that come out. I just don't have the time to physically take the test. Plus, I'm too lazy to re-take a test every 3 years lol

    • @WiltshireTutorials
      @WiltshireTutorials  Год назад

      Thanks! It's down to preference, really. Also depends on ones budget.
      An angle grinder may be more expensive than a rotary tool, depending on what you go with. Some also may feel uncomfortable with an angle grinder too.
      I find I get a cleaner edge with the Dremel than I do with an angle grinder. However, it is a much slower process compared to the angle grinder.
      All in all, both work. Use what fits in your budget and what you're most comfortable with using.

    You might be beating a dead horse, but it's a dead horse people want to see beaten. Unfortunate metaphor notwithstanding, if we want to watch it why not keep going down that road? Also you should put taller feet on the bottom to improve clearance and airflow for the PSU.

    • @WiltshireTutorials

      As for the bottom of the PC case. That is a good suggestion! I noticed too that the PC sits pretty low and it would be difficult for the PSU to get some good airflow. I've ordered rubber adhesive feet to put on the bottom to lift it up about an inch or so.
