+MSV-one it's actually not too expensive to train down there. If you go down to NM I recommend trying the gym out if you are able.
Rez I'm now really happy. I'm planning on training there when I visit my dad in New Mexico for most of the summer. I feel really confident now

I didn't think Holly deserve the title shot. But damn was I wrong. I dislike RR and she ate a whole humble pie.
I think she didn't deserve the shot because she didn't beat anybody in the top 5. But that doesn't mean that she wasn't gonna beat Rousey. (Although I didn't expect it)
+Hans E Like itor not u are just another brainwashed media puppet. u say that u dislike Ronda for some reason. u should know that media sometimes portray people In a negative way for something good to come out of it.. Ronda and Conor is a prefect example of it. A LOT of their build up and the way the "fans" look at them has to do with the media. For ex, Conor would Never get so big so fast without the media building him up and portray him like that.. U people arte soo damn simple nowadays talking like u really know these people and how they really are.. u guys are nothing but a brainwashed media puppet .

I really admire how humble and kind Jackson and Winkeljohn are. It made me laugh when they showed the wall with magazine covers and said "a few of our fighters have done some cool things," but it's a nice reflection of how they both never have this super egotistical mindset. The whole atmosphere seems so welcome and kind.
Great facility, great people, great team. Plenty of champs came out of the old Jackson/Wink gym and the first of many has been crowned

2019 now and as skillful as holly is she has only won 2 fights since the rhonda fight and lost 8. she makes an obscene amount of money and has 4 title shots already. 2-8. crazy.
I remember seeing this gym on embedded for UFC 191 with Arlovski, Maximus, and Dodson
I'm not sure who I like better as a couch and as a person right now, Jackson Wink or Duane Ludwig.... they are so alike, aside from the not chewing gum and showing no respect to the interviewer, honesty, success, likability, consideration for the people that have done good for him... so hard.

Awesome, ultimate training facility.
Any aspiring MMA fighter needs to find themselves at this place, there is like 3 other MMA gyms I would recommend but this is the best. IMO.

didn't these guys also work with GSP. I think GSP worked mostly with that Firaz guy at his gym but if I remember, they did work with GSP at some point.
They did. I think even when he went back to Tristar full-time, Greg Jackson helped him out sometimes.
+Richard Leonhard there you go that's why he was so good...had the best coaches. Now if GSP only had strength in his punches he would have been over the top amazing instead of just amazing LOL.
jay collins He doesn't fight to knock you out. His prime goal is to avoid damage. So he goes out there, takes you down and makes you hate your life.

If I was a pro fighter and contender. I would definitely try to get into JacksonWink Academy. Their game plan's are unmatched. And usually the only time they lose is when the fighters go away from the gameplan i.e...Melvin Guillard.

Curious as to why they have accessible dorms? I'd assume, as a disabled person myself, that there aren't many fighters who need those amenities. Is that an ADA requirement?
+WalkerOnWheels I know Wink does private lessons with a couple of physically disabled people. Maybe he's just hedging his bets/preping for a time if/when he brings in a coach that needs an accessible dorm. It is an interesting question though.

+cleedow It's definitely forward thinking, perhaps. I know there have been disabled fighters like Nick Newell, but I can't imagine a situation where the considerable financial investment it takes to handicap a room will end up being a return on investment.
