I’m an American who happened to be in London for my birthday on vacation. My parents took me to have tea at Harrod’s after we visited Westminster Abbey & took pictures in front of Buckingham Palace. One of my best birthday’s ever.
Happy Birthday! So happy for you sweetheart!! I think that would be the trip of a lifetime!! Having a "hard candy Christmas" here too. Celebrate ANYWAY. We decorate our Christmas tree with edible decorations, including, after the actual event, peanut butter and seed balls as ornaments. We move the tree from our living room to the front yard. For the next month; all the birds and deer celebrate! No tinsel and glass ornaments to pack away no aggravating strings of lights. Popcorn, cranberry strings...etc. Except for the tiny straw goats on it the rest is put out to eat. No actual "expense" over locating a tree; and the labor to decorate. gifts are handmade or necessary. (electric blanket; knife sharpening set, warmer clothing.) Not a penny spent on gifts that are unwanted or unneeded. We make the ornaments together; sing, bake....and distribute...there is "celebrating Christmas" and "trying to impress your neighbors with your wealth." Face it most of us can't do that, at least, this year. It's okay! It's Christmas and have fun. It is relatively inexpensive to give gifts of preserved food or baked goods. Everyone EATS. as long as you allow for personal taste...and medical conditions....this one doesn't eat meat, this one doesn't eat sugar, etc. You have to KNOW your neighbors for this one. New neighbors? Bread, jam, pickles and a wish for a better new year. Our newest neighbors are Hindi; and the gesture was recognized. (we attended a Ganesh ceremony with them) SING Carols! Dance! You don't need money to do these things, and they make you feel good. DO NOT compare your Christmas with that of others. Make it what YOU WANT.
Butterfly is £85 in Harrods, eye mask £50 in Harrods, corkscrew and bottle stopper £68 from Le Creuset website, home spray £32 (£48 if saffron version), card holder £50+ (depending on style). Can not find info on the socks, hope this helps
Glad I wasn't the only one that looked up the cost as the video went along. If people use the vouchers (and there's no catch like '£50 off if you spend £200') then you do get £700 worth of stuff* *Whether an eye mask is worth £50, Christmas tree ornament worth £85 etc... is another matter (they're not)

Merry Christmas from America. This video popped up on my feed on Christmas Eve. The fact on the card about the author of Winnie the Pooh purchasing a bear from the store for his son and that was the inspiration for him writing the books was a lovely fact. The sleep mask was made of 100% silk, and someone could bring the voucher in and purchase a nice quality silk blouse and have some money off is a good deal. I think the point of the crackers is that YOU gave joy to six people who played the game and all of the people who watched on RUclips. That was worth the price - I was awake in the middle of the night and you gave me a smile on Christmas Eve. We are having terrible weather this Christmas all over the the country this night - I woke up to massive lightning storm and rain and hail tonight. Because of this video I became a new subscriber. The crackers were worth it - divide the cost by how many people will see this video - then realize it was worth the entertainment value - we are not all going to London, but we can see you go in and shop. 🎉 Be pleased with your purchase - we all got a bang out of it. My favorite gift inside was the Waterford ornament, then the leather card holder. Merry Christmas 🎄 and Happy New Year 🍾 🥂
Winnie the Pooh was also based on a black bear they often visited at the zoo called Winnie (named after Winnipeg where she originally came from), and a friend’s pet swan named Pooh. 😉

Were they worth it, probably yes.... Most crackers have a huge mark up.. Would I buy some, hell no... ... Would I buy some if I had throwaway money... Maybe as a bit of fun but I would donate the same amount to charity... 700£ is a lot of money to spend on tat... For years now I’ve made my own crackers! The body is made from Pringles tubes. I taylor make each one for a specific individual (name tag on them). I buy a cool gift to include (pen knife, corkscrew etc) and add a miniature bottle of alcohol (glass only) to each. I write a little personal message for each recipient along with a Christmas Day lottery ticket. Then I stuff in all the items from a cheap box of crackers and mine even go 💥 bang❗️

Hello! First time watcher, came up on my feed. It was HILARIOUS! As an American, we dont have crackers but am familar with them ( thank you Peppa Pig). The Burger King crown compliments of Harrods had me rolling. Its like imaging the lare Queen Elizabeth wearing a pair of crocs! Definitely subbed. Thank you to you and ypur friends. Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. From Ohio.
I'm in the US and have been doing christmas crackers with my family most of my life! We have a drawer in our house of almost every gift we've gotten and we pull them out on Christmas and play with them. Imagine a bunch of grown adults playing with their christmas cracker toys gleefully after christmas dinner. Lol
@@mydogismyheart23 as kids we'd keep the little plastic toys and had a large pot of them in the toy cupboard. they're probably still in there at my mum's... the little screw driver sets always came in handy as an adult in later life; i was sorting through an old chocolate box tin with random tools & diy toot in it the other night and found a couple of those screwdriver sets that had made their way to this house.
Merry Christmas from the US! We've no crackers so I truly enjoyed watching you and your friends wrestle yours open. You have my empathy for your run of bad luck. Just wanted to add you remind me so much of my Uncle David. He makes me laugh, too. Much enjoyed and again Merry Christmas to you and your family!
That was so entertaining. 😂 I hope this gets millions of views! The video had a very poetic ending when you sat there in your gorgeous bee-striped jumper and recited the bee joke. 14:48 😂😂 Much love from Germany!🤗
I dunno why but the people in the background 4:00 till 8:00 reminded me of background extras from a film, a cyclist, someone carrying a large package, a jogger, someone pulling a suitcase, a moped pulling up, couple of workmen, someone getting out of a taxi etc
Its basically a scam for rich people. Harrods give you a mid priced item, but then expect you to go back and spend more, because £50 in Harrods doesnt cover much. I would be disappointed with these if i had paid out that much for luxury gifts.
As an American who's never been to the UK but has always had dreams of traveling there, Harrods would def be on my list of places to see. Thank you for showing the interior. My other places to see would be historical places but I'd allow Harrods as my one guilty pleasure!! Lol
In 1921, Milne bought his son Christopher Robin the toy bear from Harrods department store. Christopher Robin had named his toy bear Edward, then Winnie, after a Canadian black bear Winnie that he often saw at London Zoo, and Pooh, a friend's pet swan they had encountered while on holiday.
Thank you so much for putting AD in big letters for everyone to see, like you’re supposed to do except most people don’t and that just makes me trust them even less. Subbed:)
Such a feel good video seeing Robbie gift his friends (unlucky for Becky! what a nightmare haha) who have featured on the channel this year some Christmas presents in a fun and unique way🥰Very wholesome and heart warming! Shows what a genuinely kind soul he is😊
Great video loved it, just subscribed and liked you seem the most nicest person to ever meet and talk to, shame you only won once and a shame the world is not full of people like you. A true LEGEND and a living walking Angel. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New year to you and your family. Xx
The waterford crystal is hand made in Co Waterford in the south east of Ireland 🇮🇪 ive just googled your ornament its an origami butterfly and its worth 100 euro 🙂
So much fun! ❤ I think the gifts are wonderful. 🎉 If I had a friend willing to share this with me, I would be nothing more than grateful. Merry Christmas to all. 🎄
Winnie was an orphaned bear cub from White River, Ontario who was purchased for $20 by Lt. Harry Colebourn of the Canadian Army Veterinary Corps as his troop train passed though the town on August 24, 1914, on the way to Quebec to embark for Britain with the Canadian Expeditionary Force.
If you add the value of the gifts plus the vouchers and the two emeralds (which might be real) on each cracker, I think this box was well worth it. The Waterford ornament alone is very expensive and collectable, the wine stopper and opener is quite expensive too. Your business card holder can be worth upwards of £40,00. You got your monies worth. 🎄 Merry Christmas !
Waterford Orniment for Christmas tree £85 Eyemask £50 Le Creuset Bottle opener and stopper £51 Dr Vranjes room spray - £48 Shleep Socks - £30 Aspinall Card Holder - £56 Value including vouchers - £620 tbh with the vouchers as well, it's not actually that bad of a deal! However I still wouldn't ahahah
When the Waterford Ornament came out I thought, "Oh, these are going to be really good!" and it was downhill from there. Socks? Really? I wasn't expecting gold bars, but socks?
@@Nightenstaff I agree, however opinions aren't facts and the facts say it costs £700 and the value is £620. To buy a car brand new and drive it off the lot you'd loose percentage wise more than that and people do it daily... Value is subjective and some rich tosser might really like them socks 🤣
That one always seemed so creepy to me. I know people usually don’t intend it in the context of children but…that’s who Santa puts on his list so.. if Santa is giving off nonce energy than someone needs to light fireplace before going to bed lol.
So if he knows where the naughty girls live… what then? What do you think Santa Claus does? What a crappy thing to say about children. You are eluding to Santa being a pedophile?! Wtf
I've loved watching your videos this year, they've been a nice calm moment of my week amongst busy uni work (3rd year) and applying to teacher training courses!! P.S. my boyfriend saw you on the tube in London a couple of weeks ago and he knows I'm a fan of yours (we met you in 2023 on the Round Sheep tour in Ipswich so he knows what you look like as well lol) and he messaged me very excitedly saying he thought he saw someone who looked just like you "wearing a colourful jumper" so I've been keeping my eyes peeled for a video with a nice colourful jumper and then this popped up in my youtube notifications, so I sent it to my boyfriend and he said "100% it was him", thus putting an end to the two-week question of "Was it Robbie Knox?"! Anyway, have a lovely Christmas and cant wait for more videos next year!
Waterford has a fantastic name. I inherited from 2 generations ago a heavy glass crystal decanter and glasses in a set. Never used, pride of place in two homes previous. It was initially gifted as a reward to my grandmother. As soon as I heard Waterford I gasped lol I would be thrilled with the ornament, they couldn't have picked a better name to get that from ♥
My mom, over the years, gave me a complete set of Waterford crystal. From decanter to liqueur glasses, from cream and sugar to various serving bowls, champagne and martini glasses, I have it.
£50 gingerlily might seem like a good voucher but it seems it will only get you another eyemask or a travel pillow. It won't even stretch to half a pillowcase.

@@jw5959It's not even made in Waterford anymore. Made in Slovenia and Poland. Mass produced cheaply and sold overpriced. Vintage handmade Waterford Crystal is worth more.
In this case there was no bang for the pound/ buck
The best was the no pop and their disgust 😂
The Le Cruset is the only gift I liked. I would have rated it much higher.
The one who pulls the hardest is the one that always loses. Nice of you to gift your guests. 👑🥳🎉
*spoiler*
Honestly watching Robbie getting more and more deflated/ angry as he keeps losing the crackers was comedy gold. Merry Christmas Robbie, I hope Santa brings great ad revenue 🎉
*edit
I cheered out loud when he won the last one. AGUUEROOOO
Ha ha. It really did help the drama although it was frustrating.
USA here, love these vids with your friends opening the crackers and advent calendars! Made me laugh along with you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I stopped at 3:47, my mouth wide open😅😅😅. NEVER have I purchased Christmas Crackers nor knew what was inside. I was waiting for something BIG to happen😂😂😂, ok, will finish the video😂
Maybe at this point Harrod's could sponsor Robbie. Merry Christmas! Your friends are really fun!
I’m getting loads of Harrods Rewards points.
I literally yelled Whoo Hoo when you finally won.. And then you won a card holder 🫥 Bless You, at least you got the £50 voucher! Merry Christmas and All the Best for New Year ✌🏻🇬🇧Support British Farmers this Christmas🇬🇧✌🏻
A real feel good moment! Thanks for watching! Merry Christmas 🎅🏻
@@RobbieKnox I hope that £50 went on Bev...
I love tubes. I’m 32 in December, caught the back end of the soccer AM hype, and then life went on and I had my troubles with addiction, and so on. Tubes is inspiring, love this to bits, merry Christmas, Pearce x
He’s one of the best people I know.
Oooh I'm also 32 in December 😊 22nd to be precise ! Happy birthday when it comes !!
@@SarcasmicGlory I’m 22nd too. That’s mental. Snap.
I wish soccer am came back I miss not watching it every Saturday morning before the footy
there is definately some louis theroux in this guy! his expressions and well timed humour are perfect
I thought the exact same thing. Even sounds like him too.
From Ohio.
Aw, thanks for watching. You’re very kind.
I'm in the US and have been doing christmas crackers with my family most of my life! We have a drawer in our house of almost every gift we've gotten and we pull them out on Christmas and play with them. Imagine a bunch of grown adults playing with their christmas cracker toys gleefully after christmas dinner. Lol
@@mydogismyheart23 as kids we'd keep the little plastic toys and had a large pot of them in the toy cupboard. they're probably still in there at my mum's... the little screw driver sets always came in handy as an adult in later life; i was sorting through an old chocolate box tin with random tools & diy toot in it the other night and found a couple of those screwdriver sets that had made their way to this house.
didn’t need a passport for this one x
At least when I’m paying for flights you don’t turn up for now I can do it from my nice new leather card holder.

Another cracking video Mr Knox. Great bunch of people featured in it. Thank you for the great content. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
At the 26.20 mark, the lady walking backwards actually CRACKED me up! 🤣
She came back to mug my man of his crackers
That was actually the same woman who opened the second cracker in this video stuntmeg 😉
Stuntpegg. She's a RUclipsr doing good content on football to by fair.
That's his friend Nieve! 😂
Yes we do have crackers 😃 they're always at Marshall's/TJmaxx& homegoods during the Xmas season 😂👍
Of course they have crackers in America! 😂
That was very interesting. Thx from Canada. Been to Harrods twice.
That was so entertaining. 😂 I hope this gets millions of views! The video had a very poetic ending when you sat there in your gorgeous bee-striped jumper and recited the bee joke. 14:48 😂😂
Much love from Germany!🤗
I hope you kept all the bows and pins decorated on the crackers!
Lots of fun.. thank you
Merry Christmas from Canada
🇨🇦 ❤
Totally agree. I would be keeping the decorative bits outside the crackers. Just a shame no cracker gave a pop.
Stuntpegg is such a unique lovely character. Love any cameo she makes in videos
I dunno why but the people in the background 4:00 till 8:00 reminded me of background extras from a film, a cyclist, someone carrying a large package, a jogger, someone pulling a suitcase, a moped pulling up, couple of workmen, someone getting out of a taxi etc
Did at 26 mins a woman walks backwards behind them 😂
@ haha yes! Same one at 25:11 you see her reflection circle back at the start as if she’s part of the crew 😂
Its basically a scam for rich people. Harrods give you a mid priced item, but then expect you to go back and spend more, because £50 in Harrods doesnt cover much. I would be disappointed with these if i had paid out that much for luxury gifts.
TUUUUUUBES!!
Tuuuuuuuuuubes.
didn't expect you here tbh
Translate to English lol
One of the best things about this channel’s Harrods content is which random side street is picked for the reviews.
Yeah, spend £700 on some crackers then open them by some bins.
@@RobbieKnox I was waiting for someone to swoop in and rob your crackers. Glad they didn't though 😊❤
Can’t wait to get home from work to watch this! Cheers from ‘across the pond.’ 🇨🇦

@@RobbieKnox "Happy Christmas!" to you and your family. 🎄
First time watching from Australia. Cant stop laughing at the no bang 🤣 😂 😅
It was an upsetting moment.
Thanks Robbie for one the best Christmas laughs I have had all Christmas, you even knocked the Gavin & Stacy Christmas special off of top billing.
Ha ha. Honoured!
At that price, I would expect fireworks
Yeah, full on pyro display.
I'd expect diamonds😊
Seriously! We need some Harry Potter magic... The weasley twins would have made a great one!
Good way to sell £300 of merchandise for £700.
The transition into the ad was pure art
Ha ha. Thanks!
Very smooth. I minute in I was like whaaat? I was lulled. @@RobbieKnox
As an American who's never been to the UK but has always had dreams of traveling there, Harrods would def be on my list of places to see. Thank you for showing the interior. My other places to see would be historical places but I'd allow Harrods as my one guilty pleasure!! Lol
It’s a really interesting place to visit.
Loads to do and see here in London 🏴
I don’t like London but I love Harrods. I could spend days in there.
The best thing about all of Christmas was this video, such good fun! Subscribed.
Aw, bless you. Hope you have a great 2025!
@RobbieKnox Thank you Robbie, and to you 👍🏼
Nice hand knit jumper! I love the color combination.
Thanks! I’ll pass on the praise to my mum!
From Tennessee. Just visited London last week and loved looking around Harrods. But the prices! I did buy some tea😬
I think there’s some really lovely stuff in there if you avoid the absurd bits!
Yep,Harrods is a place for people with plenty of spare money who don't mind wasting it.
But it is a cool place to wander around in tho.
Oh, there are stores like that in the US too.
Didn't expect that ad segue,. made me chuckle!
Ha ha. Good!
every man will be on trt in a couple of years
4:46 looks like the crowns you used to get at Burger King 😂
Yes for free😂😂😂
you still can.. they are proper cardboard, not creased and have more colour
Haha, I thought they looked familiar 😂
That's exactly what I thought
This is one of the best things I have ever seen on RUclips !
Amazing! So glad you enjoyed it.
In 1921, Milne bought his son Christopher Robin the toy bear from Harrods department store. Christopher Robin had named his toy bear Edward, then Winnie, after a Canadian black bear Winnie that he often saw at London Zoo, and Pooh, a friend's pet swan they had encountered while on holiday.
obsessed w this channel for real
Aw, thanks!
Great Content Robbie. Also love the inclusion of Nieve brightens any video, she’s quirky, charming and naturally funny.

Thank you so much for putting AD in big letters for everyone to see, like you’re supposed to do except most people don’t and that just makes me trust them even less. Subbed:)
Aw, thanks. Yeah I want people to know what’s an ad, particularly when there’s no real clear cut from the main video content.
Such a feel good video seeing Robbie gift his friends (unlucky for Becky! what a nightmare haha) who have featured on the channel this year some Christmas presents in a fun and unique way🥰Very wholesome and heart warming! Shows what a genuinely kind soul he is😊

The waterford crystal is hand made in Co Waterford in the south east of Ireland 🇮🇪 ive just googled your ornament its an origami butterfly and its worth 100 euro 🙂
With the hideous green string. I’d be fuming.
So much fun! ❤
I think the gifts are wonderful. 🎉 If I had a friend willing to share this with me, I would be nothing more than grateful.

This was a really fun video. So glad it popped up in my feed.
poor becky. give her the voucher . or are you scrooge. 😂😂😂😂😂great fun . merry christmas to you all.
My late Step Mom collected Waterford Christmas ornaments. I miss her!
Ah, that's a lovely memory brought back for you. ❤
love the person walking backwards at 26.24 time line
That’s Nieve!
She kept walking past 😂
Ellis’s girlfriend that is to lol
Aww poor Becky. And she's the funniest one. Give her the card holder. It's Christmas.
Waterford Orniment for Christmas tree £85
Eyemask £50
Le Creuset Bottle opener and stopper £51
Dr Vranjes room spray - £48
Shleep Socks - £30
Aspinall Card Holder - £56
Value including vouchers - £620
tbh with the vouchers as well, it's not actually that bad of a deal! However I still wouldn't ahahah
A gentle reminder; price and value are not the same. We'll be thrilled with our $40 Robin Reed crackers.
@@Pbav8tor can you elaborate your point please?
Its like half the cost....a rip off. Humans are mongs.
Similar but better Santa joke: "Why is Santa always so jolly?....Because he knows where all the naughty girls live." 😂
Ha ha.
That one always seemed so creepy to me. I know people usually don’t intend it in the context of children but…that’s who Santa puts on his list so.. if Santa is giving off nonce energy than someone needs to light fireplace before going to bed lol.
Ha ha sexism is so funny.
So if he knows where the naughty girls live… what then? What do you think Santa Claus does? What a crappy thing to say about children. You are eluding to Santa being a pedophile?! Wtf
Waterford Crystal......you actually never heard of them????? World famous hand cut crystal!!!!
year, im be more than happy with that !
I really enjoyed just spending time with you on this one. Plus I love tubes!!
Aw, thanks J-dog, you rule.
How in the hell did you get me to watch a 45-minute video on Cracker pulling...l good job😅😅😅😅😅
I can only apologise!
@RobbieKnox hopefully you get monetized so next year you can buy better crackers LOL
Aw, he should have said hello! It was probably the day I filmed this.
A £50 voucher where you could buy a teaspoon.
You would have to add your Own money for that spoon, as it is OFF a purchase, not a £50 gift.
Hello from Canada! Love the video! So funny!
Hello Canada! I used to live in Vancouver! 🇨🇦

@@RobbieKnox and Happy New Year to you! I loved your comment about "eyes wide shut."
Tubes looking well !
He’s a hunk.
I need to see each of these recipients spending their vouchers!!
I’ll try and find out what they get!
£50 gingerlily might seem like a good voucher but it seems it will only get you another eyemask or a travel pillow. It won't even stretch to half a pillowcase.
Spare eye mask for guests!
Very entertaining viewing. Just to point out. The winners were all on the left. Is this just a coincidence? Merry Christmas all. 🎉🎉
The fact they think it’s okay to put a voucher, which is just advert in your £120 cracker is wild 😂
This was hilarious. I’m American (Michigan), and we don’t have crackers. This was fun. I’m glad you won the last one. Your friend was a great sport. I would do the same thing.
