Legal cases cost a ton of money, so most companies wouldn't bother suing over something so ridiculous. They'd be laughed out of court.

Here's a way you could get revenge: Have Metlife sue him. Inform them about the whole situation and because of him, you basically committed defamation on accident. The original video about the whole situation is now false so you might have to take it down, but the whole defamation thing could be turned against this stalker. (Obligatory not a lawyer statement)
That's conjecture and I'd suggest talking further with a Metalife rep to see if they wanna pursue legal action against the faker for good PR.

And when I say, dire I mean, murder, kidnap, robbery, other extremely illegal things comprehend the level of danger, he is in.
imagine if you had a stalker like his. and this isn't endangering just him, this is also endangering his family, friends, business, and money. now imagine if you had that same thing looming over you. that should be the objective. And that is a absolute certainty. Even if it is a slim chance, of those vile acts. that alone should be taken to accountability.
