This server is not only Pay-to-win, but it's also taking advantage of and profiting

the Fruity SMP feels dirty to me. It feels like the people behind saw how the LGBTQ community was a good "marketing strategy" so they made an entire server dedicated to it, then added in P2W features to get money
It’s disgusting. As a bisexual guy in Florida it is very hard to find accepting friends, so I turn to online spaces. These people will take advantage of my struggle and take my money
@@MackingCheese99 i also live in florida and can definitely vouch that there isn't many supportive people here. a free game you could play to meet people online is vrchat. there are many different communities. there is the trans academy and helping hands, which are communities i'm apart of. you don't even have to speak, you can be mute or use a voice changer, you can be in almost any avatar you want. you can even play on desktop, you don't need a vr headset. i made a lot of friends and even met my boyfriend (who is also bi) on there in the ASL community. :) there is also groups and you can join them and they might host events or meet ups so you can meet others with the same interests.

hi! as an old staff member of this server (voluntarily! god i was young and naive) i absolutely endorse this! not only is this server p2w but also defends p3d0philes and ageism, among other things that i will quite happily go further into. quite frankly, i was traumatised as a staff member on this server, and i highly recommend any current players and / or staff to get the hell off of that server, for your own sake :D

@thezackast2752 i certainly can try to :)
1) general mistreatment: as id assume is expected for servers, each tier of moderaters had different jobs and therefore different access to commands. As a helper, i only really had access to mute, kick, and jailk players (so i couldn't control if players were being physically destructive, only verbally). however, due to the senior team promoting their friends, we ended up having a bunch of inactive moderaters, the people who were able to ban users. so whenever we had a raid, only helpers were online, so we couldn't ban anyone only mute them, but we often got told off for not banning them or getting someone to ban them even if we had tried.
2) pedophilia: there was one moderater on the team who was just generally kind of rude, i think he was 18/19? but definitely adult. he started dating a minor who was also on the team, but nothing was done about it even though multiple people brought it up and said they were uncomfortable with him as a whole- all because he was friends with one of the senior moderators. i think he got demoted eventually, but i had left by then, so it had taken over half a year. i think there was another issue with one of the admins, but i dont know nearly enough about it to comment
3) P2W : the server had a shop where you could buy 8 different ranks, which helped you with gameplay, alongside perks such as flying. whilst you absolutely could get to a place in game where you had the same resources as someone with a rank, it would take an incredibly long time, and heavily disadvantaged people without the means to fund it (even on a social level, it gave you a bright tag in chat so your messages were more likely to be read). It offered some sort of protection also, we had an idiot member that a bunch of people hated but we couldn't ban him because of his rank and because monjii didn't want to loose him as a customer. i will admit though, as far as i am aware, all the proceeds from it went to charity, but its kind of eh in general.
4) general NSFW : we had a staff chat that on numerous occasions became verbally nsfw, which made me extremely uncomfortable as a minor in a chat with both adults and other minors. they never stopped when asked and often left me feeling disgusted and unsafe
there are almost certainly other things, but ive only just woken up. if i remember anything ill add it

That near-miss chunk ban made me realise that if you could theoretically get those shulkers into the community chest in the main lobby (or other populated area), you could *chunk ban anyone who logs in.* Don't know how feasible that is though...

it 100% wasn't a chunk ban, it was likely some plugin that detects if there are more than X shulker boxes in a chest or chunk, kicks you and sends a message to the staff
Spawn chunks are always loaded I believe so that should theoretically chunk ban even the mods if I'm not mistaken

Everyone is talking about the duping, but what we should be talking about is the masterclass editing with the beautiful guide of The Dark Side of the Moon. You use the album so well and you really capitalized on all of the transitions and emotions that the songs go through. I love it.

I'm not a guru on this lol. But what is cool is that this youtuber combined the album with the video and synced it up well, for example the song "money" being played at the beginning to reference the pay to win aspect of the server, it's pretty cool.

As someone who played on this server a fair bit during my semi-annual 3 week Minecraft trip it was honestly a huge breath of fresh air, one of the only mc servers where I could talk with other queer people in a decently safe place. I knew it was pay to win, knew before I even joined but still, having a server which was this level of accepting was insane for me. I do have one memory which has stuck with me. I was just randomly exploring the server when I found this really cute build with a grave in the back. It said something like "name, 4-10-2004 -16-7/2023, best boyfriend I could have asked for, I'm sorry we never got to finish our show
