My favorite member of Nirvana is probably Krist Novoselic if I look at it from a purely personal perspective. Kurt and Dave were both extremely talented musically, especially at their specific roles in this band, and their music talent complemented each other perfectly. But as far as them, as people? I'll just say Krist is the best of the three, in that regard. He's the most humble, the most genuine, the funniest, and I'd actually trust the guy.
I like how he kicks over full stacks like whatever.. then just jams a guitar into a half stack and let's it feedback like crazy and walks off looking for something else to break like hes a kid whos bored lol.

You’re really projecting the whole “tortured artist” thing here. I saw them in ‘91 and again in late ‘93. In ‘93 he was lively and joking with the crowd. They were just as good if not better that night as they were in ‘91. The band has actually spoken about how much they were uncomfortable with these big festival Brazil shows. Drugs or no, any apathy you read definitely has more to do with Krist and Kurt’s distaste with the huge arena rock vibe.

@@randomviewer2319 Kurt was always off and on heroin. He was shooting up during many of the legendary tours in ‘90 and ‘91. And I wouldn’t trust anything that comes out of Courtney’s camp. However, there is actual video of Kurt and Krist talking about how much they hated playing these shows. They specifically mentioned how it messed with the dynamics of playing live. That’s straight from the horse’s mouth, and not from some junkie lackey trying glom on to Kurt to peddle her book.
