Little did we know, drummer David Grohl had some more music up his sleeve. Nirvana fans would be thrilled to find out that Nirvana's enthusiastic energy would live on in the new band, Foo Fighters.

Could you imagine later in the same year of your best friend/band mates death, having to sit in an award show & listen to the sound of him singing ring out in that building. That would just be so surreal/haunting for me.
When music and MTV were worth listening to.
I loved MTV in the 90s, "120 minutes" was the best show by far. In the UK it was on at 2am on a Sunday morning so just after the pubs or clubs shut.
How the hell did it become what it is now... a crappy reality TV channel.
The gun shot sound at the end of the nominee montage was sure in bad taste. There was a shocked silence for a couple seconds after it.
I remember watching this,I was still upset with his death an this just brought me back down,it was well deserved,it must've bin very difficult for Dave too speak,r.i.p Kurt🤘

Wow, 4 great songs. To me, music and video-wise, I see why Nirvana won, the video and music are so moving, but wow Disarm is really good too.

It sounds like Dave changes his speaking tone right before he starts to sound emotional. "...I think about Kurt every day... and uh, I'd like to thank everybody fer, fer uh paying attention to our band, thanks.".... not easy to accept an award in front of so many people when your band mate is gone ...... oh my heart.
Honestly though, 94 and 95 were some of the best years in my opinion to ever come out of alternative rock. Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, and blink-182 released amazing records at that time. There were also sad times like kurt’s suicide.

Courtney must have been proud, having an ex-boyfriend and an ex-husband in the same category. Wow though....remember when Mtv had good music? Or music period? Kurt famously called it "Empty TV." He saw the future

I love in the Back and Forth doc when he's talking about how people chastised him for making music after Nirvana, in the same realm as Nirvana and he's like... "What did you want me to do? Make a fucking reggae record?" hahah

@@grungefanboy9594 just above Kurt's K tattoo check out the observer on here he was one of kurts friends and he thinks he was given a shot but it failed, the rest of what happens is unexplainable
Narcan is usually injected into a fatty area like upper thigh belly and such.
@@cadomosting3965 yes my friend you can clearly see the mark and yes the medics never did anything to the body , regarding the narcan maybe because they were famous with money they had narcan shots ready incase of overdose kurt overdosed a few times even doing a show afterwards, what i dont understood is why they would set it up as a suicide? If he simply overdosed and died very fishy indeed and remarkable that they even showed the photo with the mark.

I doubt Kurt would’ve even showed up to accept this award. I believe he was very disillusioned with the music industry before he was murdered by Alan Wrench.

I agree he was murdered however, consider how much cl gains when the wrong person is pinned for it. Tom has come out many many times and said it was not Allen. It sure would take the heat of her and Cali 🤔

Tbh I don't care about the Foos anymore. I was a big fan of their first 3 albums and saw them at Reading twice but compared to Nirvana they are nothing really.
Theres something about Dave nowadays that I just don't like, can't say exactly what it is, just a feeling.
Seems everyone changed in ways after Kurt’s passing. Except Courtney.
