Your the first person I've come across that's so positive and genuine!!!! Thank you for doing this video! It's been helping me 💯 I've completely changed my whole eating habits and dropped 10lbs in two weeks and was happy but scared because I already have some loose skin from having children. I never loved myself like I should've. But that had changed because of your videos. Thank you! Thank you!

Love your videos! The tip I will use is to lose weight slowly. I'm giving myself a year to lose 60lbs by rebuilding a healthy lifestyle (right on time for a significant birthday ☺). I'm 7 weeks in and have lost 8lbs 🎉
I would love to see a video from you about how you keep yourself accountable without being obsessive, something about your daily/ weekly schedule, how to manage stress, or how to be confidant and charismatic.

I know this video is older (about 6 months old), but I just wanted to thank you so much, Dr. Nina. I’m so thankful there are people on RUclips that can give educational, and intelligent content that actually helps people. I’m on a weight loss journey (I’ve lost 34 lbs thus far in 1 year), and I have a ways to go still. I still have about 51 lbs to go. I’m taking it very slow, because I know our skin completely regenerates itself in 2-3 months, and our skin is comprised of everything we have eaten in the past 2-3 months. I do feel like it’s a bit slow, and I could speed up my weight loss, but I’m terrified that if I lose weight too quickly, that it could affect my health, and my skin. I know it takes about 2 weeks for the body to heal from weight loss. So, I try not to lose more than 1.5 lbs a week. At the moment I have been losing weight a little bit faster, at 6 lbs per month, but I’m reluctant to lose weight any faster than that. For the first year, I lost about 0.5 lbs per week, and I found out it was due to hormonal issues with my hypothyroidism, and now that my doctor has settled that issue, I’m back to losing 1.5 lbs per week now. So, hopefully I’ll lose at least 40 lbs in the next year. I hope I won’t have any excess skin, and your tips are awesome, and I hope they really help me. Thank you so much! 😍🤗💖

Yesss it is definitely a lifestyle change. I've lost over 100 pounds in the last year and I'm extremely proud of myself! I do have loose skin that needs tightening and I only wish I paid attention to minimizing it during my weight loss journey. I still have more weight to lose so I'm not done. I love how positive you are! It's very soothing and helpful especially in a world full of judgmental individuals! Do you have any tips for someone who's always so busy with crazy work schedules, in regards to healthy meal recipes (basically lunch and dinner that's not very time consuming)? Also how does one choose the right protein powder to make shakes? I'm looking to get into that but not sure which is best overall (plant based, soy, rice protein, pea protein, etc). You may have already answered these questions. I'm going to back track and watch your list of videos as time permits. Thanks! I'm glad I found your channel here

I stumbled on this video while looking for diy videos on painting furniture, because the bar stool chairs I want to buy for my kitchen don't match my coffee table. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Well, the whole reason I started looking for the initial video was to distract myself from eating since I'm water fasting... Weeelllll... this video just answered EVERYTHING I was looking for this morning. First, your barstool chairs are 🔥. Secondly, the weightloss tips are amazing. Third and most importantly, I need that blender bottle in my life... 😁😁

I had this problem too. Try to work out your legs & inner thighs 2 times a week. Sumo squats, deadlifts, lunges, side lunges. The longer you do it (you only need 2 times a week) & push yourself, you'll see a huge difference. You gotta build some muscle in those legs. Also like she recommended look up foods for elasticity. Eat well, drink water, workout legs 2 times a week. And I would toss in a day of cardio too to burn fat. Learning what to do is easy. Hardest part is consistency. Good luck beautiful !

If they had emoji hands to applaud you, I would! Thank you for speaking about age being a factor. I've been at this for honestly 12 years, yep! laziness and waiting for a buddy to take the journey with me. My hubby said to me " do it alone, that's how you succeeded before!" So far 17lbs down on my own, no fad diets, just good old veggies, good carbs, no fast food and lots of water. Love to excercise but it doesn't love me. I have to do major stretching before hand or else sciatia pops its ugly head out. Again thanks for your sensible video. Lord know it's too much foolishness on the internet regarding dieting that just doesn't work or work for everybody!

Loose skin is my worry! I do hydrate. Some days not enough and my left foot tells me that I haven't! I will explain that phenomenon later. My aunt who is 72 years old and I am 64 years old. Both of us gain our weight after menopause. She lost over 80 pounds back in 2009 and had absolutely NO LOOSE skin! I lost 80 pounds that years and also had no loose skin. However, both of us gained the weight we lost back and we are back on a quest this time to lose this weight for GOOD! I am vegan and my aunt isn't. We both decided that we didn't want to suddenly lose our weight and the die within a 1 to 2 years after losing it like my mother and my grandmother (my aunt's mother) did. I am looking for to your videos and will look for your products.

Another awesome video, thank you for your transparency. I’ve lost 78 pounds thus far and have loads of loose skin. When I reach my goal I’ll evaluate the surgery option. I’ll be 52 in a few weeks I can see some response in the body to the cardio/strength training. I shocked my body about 8 months ago going from no water to a gallon a day and it’s made all the difference. BTW I’m from “the Lou” as well. Keep being Awesome...

I love these videos, they give me the motivation to keep going. With my disabilities it's not possible to follow your exercises, but I have some from my physical therapist that work so well. I was so close to my weight goal(20lbs),but when I went away for a month,I was not eating much and I gained 20lbs. Returning home,I got back into the swing of things and on my way loosing again. I'm on my way again and so determined. I'm going to try that dry brushing. I mostly have loose skin of my arms, thighs, and belly, but not too much. Like you,my weight-loss is slow,I'm living my journey,it's my norm and I love it.

This video is so helpful. The tip I will use most is to actually go back and watch all the other videos on how to not only take of your skin but your body entirely. What I would love to see more of in 2018 is more natural remedy videos for things like allergy issues, sore throat, head aches ECT. Thank you for the time and effort you put into each video to help total strangers become a better them.

Why do you take prenatal vitamins? I thought they were for pregnant people. Oh and btw drinking enough water is important for skin health. A lot of people don’t drink enough water and don’t realize they are dehydrated.

Yes...folic acid is very high in prenatal pills. They are so good for hair, skin, and nails

I also take prenatals. They have more iron. I used to be anemic.

If your taking a prenatal then you should also take 2,000 IU of vitamin D. It supports bone health & is essential for your hair, skin & nails. It also helps during the winter time when your not in the sun.

I just noticed ( after a while of watching) how much stretch marks you have. You still look amazing and your skin is absolutely popping. I was pretty scared about how much I have and how much it’ll show when I get to my goal. I just get really caught up in how others look because it seems like society demands you to look appeasing to them. Anyways, bless you for always keeping it real since day one.

I'm just seeing your video & I'm happy I ran across it. I've been afraid to lose any more weight due to sagging skin. I lost 60 lbs & then became disabled so I'm unable to run or ride a bike. I have a prosthetic inside my leg so it's difficult to certain things. I can walk the treadmill & use weights but I can't do any jumping. The treadmill is cool becuz I have something to hold on to since my leg buckles a lot. I have to lose some more weight but I'm going to start doing some of the things you said. I'm going to look up cardio & resistance training that I will be able to do & definitely get the vitamins & other things I can drink or rub on me to tighten up my skin & hopefully it works for me. I'm about to follow you so I can see all of your videos. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much. God bless you
