Guess what , I put my ass and my entire family on a healthy eating regimen as well as working out on the daily. 1. Avoid losing weight too fast (2 to 4 lbs/week)
    2. Everything you put in your mouth counts. Include antioxidants, collagen, proteins, vitamin C rich foods
    3. Treat your skin well- exfoliate, dry brush, wet brush, massage
    4. Moisturize (no hydroxys), good oils help best. No sulfates or harsh chemicals
    5. Exercise- cardio and weight training
    6. Hydrate!! Drink more water (coconut water is great as well)
**I personally wouldn’t drink water before meals and don’t usually drink much during meals either because it dilutes stomach acid which helps digestion.
Age, body type and genetics play a huge part in individual results but these tips will definitely help.

It truly is especially as a short person when even I was skinny I felt fat because I was short with a more muscular build so even if i was like 100lbs I would look fatter than the taller irl who actually weighed 30 to even 40 pounds more. And the taller person was seen as more desirable than me...dealt with a lot of self esteem issues because of that and even to this day. Because it's like I work out harder but never get acknowledged for it...trying to do better caring less what others think. The excess fat doesn't make things easier but currently doing INSANITY because I got the best results with that plus walking 10k steps daily and eating LESS sugar, fat and carbs. I don't say NO but will say LESS because at the end of the day, your healthy food changes need to be sustainable as I am learning from a fitness trainer. :)

I’m losing weight for my health! I’m currently 60 pounds down but I’m about halfway there! I got diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 12/21/18 and lost my ability to walk. MS took away the strength in the lower half of my body and I remember sitting in a wheelchair at 25 thinking to myself that if I was 100 pounds lighter or had more muscle in my legs that maybe I wouldn’t be in this wheelchair. Or using a walker. So when I got released from physical therapy and was 90% better in June 2019, I wasn’t gonna let this opportunity pass me by so I started going to the gym 5 days a week and eating healthy. I’m having a relapse currently so I’m down for the count again but I won’t let it keep me down! I WILL lose this weight!

Rye Ree so proud of you! Funny enough I was actually diagnosed at 24, the day before my 25th birthday 🤣 if a gym is too much right now (like it is for me) you can also do yoga. There is a book called yoga for MS and videos on RUclips to help you get started. We owe it to our bodies to do everything we can to fight this disease. Medicine and doctors can only do so much. I want to know that when I have a relapse that I did everything I could in my power to prepare for it. Good luck to you!!!

I went from riding my bike 6 miles daily to none at all. Got really depressed and started eating bad with no exercise. I suffered a concussion. From the age of 18-20 I gained just about 100 pounds. I gained all my weight back PLUS 50 pounds. I turned 21 and decided I needed a change. This past almost year I’ve lost 30 pounds!! I’m at 220 again and I’m turning 22 in June. You genuinely love yourself and people who are happy are kind, honest and endearing (not to be confused with narcissism that is a form of self hate from insecurity). The advice you give is simple, accurate and we need more of that message in society.

Autophagy and Autology, both processes help with the excess proteins we call loose skin, and both are helped to be set in motion by proper fasting. Fasting is a lot of different ways of eating/not eating (juice fasting for instance, won't set autophagy in motion, although it does many other nice things.) So you have to investigate the different ways to fast so you aren't defeating yourself. Dr Mindy Pelz has some great videos on this topic.

I've been watching your videos since about 2010. You are truly an inspiring woman! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us. I've lost 135.6 over the last 15 month. I was diagnosed with Lupus then soon after type 2 diabetes came along. I was placed on a CPAP, I couldn't breathe, my breathing stopped 78 times per night based on a sleep study, I became incontinent, couldn't walk more than a few minutes, couldn't dress myself. I was literally crushing myself alive, my bones and organs couldn't take the heaviness. So, I started to refuse the steroid injections, I weaned off 8 other of the plethora of medications I was prescribed. Yet even seeing my suffering staring her in the face as I grew more I'll with by each visit, my Doctor fought me on stopping these meds that were seriously poisoning my body. Then ultimately she had to finally agree with me as I developed some heart concerns. These were some severe side effects.. I just knew I was at deaths door. Yet, considering that this weight was gained throughout a span of a 16 month period approx. 3 years ago, the weight seems to be falling off as quickly as it was gained. I've not been able to exercise effectively until just a few weeks ago and I think this is why the redundant skin seems relentless. I just keep telling myself I didn't make it this far just to make it this far! Currently with dry brushing, hydration, butter rubs, IMF/autophagy, collagen, and eating an anti inflammatory diet I'm hoping I can overcome. I realize that this is actually a small obstacle. From 352lbs down to 216lbs as off today 🙌 Praise God! I'm hopeful now to be able to stick around to get to grow up my youngest child and prepare her for life....I am SO very grateful for life! #PressOn

I've been saying that for a long time, on the whole, "let your body retract and acclimate." People forget the whole body is a living thing, it's not just you in there...it remembers things that effect it, either in a negative or positive way. Just like your mind is taking notes/recording things you say to yourself that projects your reality... So right on in this video 🥰🥰🥰....always positive self-talk to yourself, and your body will follow, and if you have to physically love yourself first, then your mind will follow. Great video!

I’ve lost 79 pounds since I was 14. I did it on and off up until I was 17, and that’s when I officially started to drop and keep it off. I started at 230 and I’m now at 151. My goal weight has always been 150, and it’s surreal to finally be here. As much as I wanted it to happen instantly, I’m happy I’ve been taking it slow. I have a lot of extra skin, but I’m young and I really look forward to keeping my current lifestyle and pushing myself further (in a healthy way!) on top of its. I never thought I’d get this far, but I feel so good. I have a lot of time to tighten my skin since I’m young and working out 5 days a week, and I shouldn’t be discouraged by it. It’s a sign I worked incredibly hard to get where I am now and I will be proud of myself for that. I’d rather have the extra skin and feel great instead of having the extra weight and being in constant physical pain like I was.

I am 51. Menopausal, & in a wheelchair. For me, three pounds a month is my goal. I do 2000 steps on a seated cross trainer 4 to 5 days a week, depending on my schedule. Also strength training / stretch bands / adaptive yoga, three times a week. I have used a wheelchair & crutches since birth. I am five ft. tall & was a well muscled size 9/10 at my most in shape. Which for me meant a strong healthy body. I had a severe fall two years ago. Causing muscle / nerve damage. Recovery was long. I was unable to exercise / move for a good portion of a year. I came out of the hospital a size 18. I am now a size 15, or a half size. Slow, & steady wins my race. I am not capable of eating, or burning. The amount of calories someone who walks, is. A byproduct of this slowed down process so far, has been no lose skin. Thumbnail is me, June of 2019. Remember to keep hydrated. Unsweetened tea, flavored seltzer, or water. Don't Drink your calories. Single biggest contribution to my weight loss. In the very beginning. I also limit salt, sugar, & animal fat. Eat a ton of veges, legumes, / unsalted seeds & nuts. avocados / salads. A small amount of whole grains. Lean meat / cheese & bread twice a month. Talk to your Dr. certainly. That said. Unless there is an immediate medical need for rapid weight loss. Starting out slowly. Even if you have 100 pounds to lose. Is better for a healthy, sustained result. You cannot change your habits quickly, or all at once. Small changes can lead to big results. Without leaving you overwhelmed. Stress affects your metabolism. As does alcohol. Above all, move. Increase duration & intensity over time. As your body gets stronger. Also switch it up once in a while. Dance, swim.

I love love love that the first thing you mentioned was that it's not a race to see how fast you can loose the weight, but rather being able to lose little at a time, and practicing healthy habits. It's about the long-term goal of being healthy, not just body, but mind as well. So many people are doing keto diets and all kinds of cleanses and starvation diets, along with these vigorous exercises to lose weight quickly, but don't realize they have to train their mind for the long haul as well.

First, I LOVE how your skin glows. Second, awesome advice on self-care. And third, your anti-shame stance is a great message that needs to be shouted from the rooftops. I found your video to be hopeful and helpful, and will keep your advice in mind. Thank you.

Your videos are what I need In the morning I gained 50 pounds after 2 babies during this pandemic they are Irish twins and I'm on the journey to getting back right. I love the motivation and the mental health you talk about. I managed to keep the weight off for 13 years until pregnancy and now I'm on the journey to self health. You're fabulous

Loved this video!! My Heaviest was 250 lbs. I maintained a 50lb weight loss for 10 years. My body slowly transformed. This year with all the extra time, I’ve lost another 25. I am loving the changes I feel and see. I do tend to get discouraged at times with my flabby arms and thighs. They are slowly shrinking. I personally don’t want any more surgeries. I’ve had way too many that I couldn’t avoid. Seeing this video gave me hope that with determination, I can loose the flabbiness.
