DPF and Regen process
If the solid "DPF" light for the regen comes on, let it run! Don't panic! Leave the truck running. You can drive it while its going. Once the light goes off, the truck can be turned off if you were waiting. This is the process 99% of the time.
Never ignore a flashing "DPF" light. If its not pulled over and put into park within the timeline, the truck can malfunction! You have about 30 minutes to pull over.
Most regens are complete within 20 minutes!

I pulled over and did regen on mine as light was flashing... it went through the process of sitting at 1500rpm for 20 minutes... it initially smoked out of exhaust for first 2 minutes and then cleared ...
When it finished the cycle and returned to tickover it... it still has the flashing DPF light... ??? Do you know how to clear that scenario... thanks in advance..
