  • In this video, I kick off my new series on workplace bullying by diving into the dynamics of power struggles and insecurities in modern work environments. Using the story of Julius Caesar, I draw parallels between his rise and eventual downfall, and how high achievers today often face similar toxic behaviors at work.
Workplace bullying is more than just aggression-it can take many forms like exclusion, undermining, and power plays. These behaviors can have devastating effects not only on individuals but also on the culture and productivity of entire teams and organizations.
    🔑 Key Topics Covered:
    Defining workplace bullying
How Julius Caesar's story reflects workplace power dynamics
Why high achievers and leaders are often targets of bullying
Insecurities and competition as root causes of workplace toxicity
This series is based on my LinkedIn articles, where we’ve started an engaging conversation on this critical topic. If you’re on LinkedIn, feel free to join the conversation-the link to the discussion is in the description below!

Thanks for doing this Ben, there are so many immature, selfish and evil people in workplaces who cause so much damage because they are chasing power, status, titles and hate others who outshine them. Your LinkedIn articles are very well researched and spot on. Looking forward to your series on RUclips!

@@MikosMiko Thank you! We are all works in progress, and not everyone that bullies others is “evil,” some are reacting to their environment, others may have personal issues, others yet insecure… bullies are people too, and it’s important to extend empathy to them as well.
