Oracular speculater was the album of my 4 month heroin relapse. After being clean from dope for 8 yrs and as well 2 yrs clean of nothing at all. This band MGMT saved my life. Whole heartedly, this isnt a adjective with out future reflections I think I would of died from OD. That song broke me down into little pieces by the last 2 sentence I remember what it felt like To be alone Sitting in the sunlight All alone This made me remember those first 13 yrs of my childhood before any drugs. I still go to parks to swing, they make me feel like I could let go and would fly away. This album tho,it showed me life isnt set in stone
This is a really underrated performance. Wow. One day when history proves this to be one the best albums of the 2000’s this will be a video they play for sure. Amazing.
@@Oh_I_Will i mean... In the context of the 2000s, oracular spetacular is fire Best mgmt album? Definetely not, but of the 2000s? I'd vote for it instead of lil jon But congratulations sits on the top for me and little dark age isn't in 2nd place, its more like 1.5th place lmao The new stuff they're putting out are a serious threat to the 1st place
+Bob Smith He was on the drums originally and Hank Sullivant was on the tar, but he left to work on his project Kuroma, which led to James moving to the tar and Will Berman hoping on the drumzzzz
I remember waiting for each Paradiso show to be posted. Xavier Rudd and Fiction Plane were great, but this show was just special. Introduced me to this great band early and allowed me to catch em live before the blew up. Thanks Paradiso!
The thing that ruins every MGMT shows is the crowd. Just awful. I dont understand, do they attract the most boring-ass, stuck up people? Its so odd. I know many friends that would go wild at an MGMT show. But it seems almost EVERY live show they have dull crowds.
True, you get the wild bunch at the front and the polite stoners near mid and the adults and parents at the back. People of all ages love MGMT. This I've seen at their Montreal concerts this past decade. You have me in the middle where my short as fights to see them all play. Smoke my favorite pipe and sing along! Can't help it lol Every song. I remember at Osheaga 2012 They ended with Alien Days with a drone flying over head and the Montreal summer fireworks started at the end of the song. After they got off stage the ground shook from the people stomping the grassy dirt till chanting ONE MORE SONG! till they came on again. They performed Rolling Stone's cover of Angie. Montreal LOVES her classic rock. The crowd of all ages sang that night. Some with lighters in hand. We wanted all night with MGMT. I'll never forget it.
Ive got this OBSESSION with MGMT, and I dont want any help
can relate
Still can relate

James is an animal on the drums. I like his playing with MGMT more. Makes it more raw.
Andrew's hair oh My god it's so fluffy
thanks
@@agneslejrin3032 Who cares what he looks like. The music is good.
@@istaphobeI care what he looks like. He’s gorgeous.
@ and so am I, what’s your point?
@@istaphobeI love that for you but you’re not in the video bud
Only today I realized how beautiful MGMT is ..
I knew their music for a long time,
but only now I felt and understood it.. 💜

Under Rated, my Arse. These guys have been given Props quite frequently. Stop with the Troll “Like” BS...

When they start off “Of Moons Birds and Monsters” it gets me everytime. I fucking love them.
They started off with weekend wars tho.. not of moons birds and monsters

13years ...
Maybe The best gig of The band ??!!
15 years…
One of their better performances
James on the drums! so much talented!
The transition (no pun intended) from 4th Dimensional Transition into Pieces of What is delicate...
Always intend the pun if you want any sweet gift from the sun.
@@ubivermiscerritulus195 Yea
especially since thats the right order on the album and so is the handshake to future reflections!!
they sound so 70s here
i actually wish the album versions had more of this energy in them i would blast that all day and night
The interlude to electric feel is Spiritual
I love that James is on the drums
I love will better but it’s cool seeing him flex over here on the kit :-)
Andrew I love you so much although I know that you are older now😭💖
Desayunar con esta música de fondo no tiene precio ♡♡♡♡
Fucking handshake!!!!
22:28 starts Jam + Electric Feel
Amo a mgmt!
Best early performance of MGMT
The Metanoia performance is sooo cooooool :0
THIS IS MY FAVOURITE THING EVER I WISH I WAS THERE
James is amazing on the drums
JAMES RICHARDSON on them drums
Lol I know I was like wait what?

I think James is a better guitarist than Hank

Andrew is freaking sexy here
Pieces of What is by far the best Mgmt song
of birds and moons sound like stolen from 3 somgs from the 80's simoultanoesly. just awesome. best concert tour they ever played
what songs?
terrible video quality gives me so much serotonin omg
Do you know any other concert of them with this much jam and prog? It's amazing.
Andrew looks exactly like the guy from Temples in this haha! :P
+Brodzzzzz but Andrew is mooore handsome! rs
Vanna Sanches Andrew is the sexiest guy on the planet lol and I'm not even gay LOL
I agree totally, but Jake Bugg and Ross Farrelly are on this list of the sexiest guys to me... haha
The end is so excited
Awsome !!! Concert sounds great!!! 😊
Anyone who says they suck live is a fool
i could dye after this
It so cool to be part 0f this good to be alive
James on drums still
This version of 4th dimensional transition is the best. Fite me.
Grande LP!
These guys were being born when I was graduating from High School.😮😅😅❤
Andrews more sinister here its funny

The crowd are sleeping...
43:50 this whole part sounds a lot like the great Anathema
Man... Metanoia, é muito gostosinha a vibe dela.
Encore must have been Kids
HEY the drummer is the second guitarist?!?!? And the drum is the guitarist
Do you know where I could find the rest of this show? It's probably Kids next.
That first song
So ominous fluffly bizzare Good
James's drum is much heavy than Will's,I guess I like Will's more,since it's more airy,psychedelic
James always puts you in a trance with his performance. So cool to see it translate to other instruments. VERY underacted!
Metanoia (shorten version)
WHAT HAPPENED TO ROCKSTAR MGMT?!!!!!!
Their still somewhere out there, just waiting to be summoned by an avengers level threat.
25:04 Electric Feel
James should have stayed on drums..he was wack on guitar too cheesey with the finger tapping. This was by far the best line up
