Me too! When he said we could paint the frame white...I thought yep! And I would pay $35 for that here in my area after it was painted.

I had the entire set of dishes that match the Japanese gravy boat with the blue on top and flower. Fun fact, I'm in PA and there was a smaller grocery store chain (IGA) that did stamps that you would collect for spending so much each week. Then you would spend the stamps to buy the dishes. This was in the mid 90s. My mom got enough stamps between her and some friends to get me the dinner & dessert serving set for 8 including all the serving ware, cooking utensil holder, salt/pepper shakers, etc. The set was huge. Last year when we downsized homes I gave most of it away, keeping the serving dishes, gravy boat, sugar and creamer dishes and a few other odds and ends. That was a blast to see.

Love the DI! I used to feel bad upcharging what I would resell, but I spend 4-5 hours a day sometimes just waiting for cool items. It’s a job lol.

Here where I live in up state New York there are several thrift stores but nothing like yours! They are small and the prices are high! So I have thrift store envy! Loved how the two of you interact and decide on what to buy!

You might catch a little flack this time on not getting the mannequin or the waterfall dresser. The mannequin could have been bought to resell from YOUR shop to someone who might have wanted it, without having to do a thing to it yourself. Waterfall anything in my area, that's in great shape and under $50, sells right away, especially dressers. I have been on the hunt for a specific waterfall side table and can't find any that don't cost $40 or more a piece. BUT, that grain sprouter should go in your own house! LOL Definitely a great treasure to find!! I've never heard of one either. Would be darling in your bathroom as a linen closet, or anywhere really, if you have room for it.

Ya hoo was excited 😊 love what you got ,I would have picked up a few things in that store.❤️ I picked up some heavy metal stocking holders at the goodwill today ,75 percent off of Christmas stuff . The mountains are really gorgeous. They rise about 5-6000 feet above the valley floor. Amazing canyons to play in during winter and summer.

I found our D.I. in Tucson last week. Ours is tiny compared to yours. I do like the prices.
Research that Roseville crock! Some Roseville pottery is valuable.

I sold my first piece. Paid 2.00 and sold for 40.00 😛 I did a 1940 nightstand in a shappy chic. She fell in love with in on fb market. And gave me 5 🌟 ⭐⭐⭐ 🌟
Man, y’all find the greatest stuff! I once saw a small round coffee table that would go great in a child’s room. I could kick myself a million times for passing it up! There is a resale store around here that finds the oldest solid furniture and they can’t chalk paint worth a flip! Lol! And they charge way too much for each piece. Totally not worth it. I would have to repaint everything. They need to watch your channel. Lol!

Hey there I'm from Michigan the Roseville pottery sells really well here. I have a few questions I'm sure I've missed these in other videos. But there are so many.. what do you recommend for removing the tape from treasures and on the chipped gravy boat how will he sand it? I pass on do many cute treasures because of small chips, they just won't sell here in my booths.
We use lemon oil to remove tape and sticky adhesives, he’ll sand the chip in the gravy boat smooth with 220 grit sand paper.

I didn’t know either. Kind of like a small greenhouse of sorts. They used to sprout plants in it and then take them to the fields once the weather was right.

@@alicejump2290 Jami only knows how to paint (everything) . She needs to be more knowledgeable about for instances (Japan) pottery ect,..... And broaden her knowledge of what's sells besides painting. Mix in some real vintage items that would enhance the Farmhose look
