I'll never forget this game where they honored Brett Favre. Dak Prescott was a rookie at this moment in his career he had the most pass attempts without throwing a single interception in NFL history and at Halftime He and Farve got together on the sideline an shook hands and sure enough to start the 2nd half Dak threw a Interception.
Went to Minnesota and almost got the the bowl, and made the Jets much better, as an old dude. When someone can just go to another team and succeed, like the old Montana in Kansas City, that's impressive.
Old comment but the Jets treaded water with Favre so I disagree with the Jets part. 9-7 with him at QB, he leaves, they go 9-7 again and get to AFC championship, then go like 11-5 and back to the AFC championship. The Jets were on the rise before Favre, that defense was scary, and his involvement in 2008 made little to no impact. All that ended up happening is they his his injury and the Jets had to pay a 125k fine.
I know right! I just about fell out of my chair when Skip said that :D I'd taking Manning over Farve any day. In his prime I don't think there was anyone as good as Manning. Brady is great in his own right and has had impressive longevity and it's impressive an all that he's still an elite quarterback into his 40's, but I don't think anyone was a more dangerous passer than Manning when he played for Indianapolis. Favre was a good quarterback, but I think it's questionable for me if he even gets into the top 10 all time.
+Project 7 I can't believe there are people who still think Brady is a system qb. You must have been hit a lot of times because that CTE is setting in pretty early for you.
Brett would definitely be in my Top 10, I remember he threw a very nearly 100 yard, accurate pass & he barely launched his arm, the man hand a Cannon, & he was extremely tough for a QB. He could throw one of the fastest, hardest pass, while under pressure, & it would still be accurate enough to hit you right between the numbers, Favre was a bad boy!

It took me 7 minutes into this clip when Skip said tom brady had 4 superbowl rings to realize that this video was 3 years old. lol. Why did RUclips send me this?
Honorable Mentions. Outside of my top 10, but still great: Fran Tarkenton, Terry Bradshaw, Dan Fouts, Warren Moon, Kurt Warner, Steve Young, Jim Kelly, Troy Aikman.
best evre was Elway, but i have to admit my "best evre" only started since 1978,.. Fouts was also amazing... Favre was the best Qb in the league for at least half of the years he played
There are people who put Bradshaw in the top 10. However, there was another QB in his division who was statistically better. Ken Anderson. If you switched the two and put them on each other's teams, Anderson is a hall of famer, Bradshaw is not.
Brett Favre is the most fun athlete I’ve ever watched in any sport. His personality was bigger than his right arm. And he was tougher than most linebackers. I lived and died on Favre’s arm, and I’m just fine with that.
One thing Favre had and you see it every game he played was simple love and passion of the game. Also I dont know why no one mentioned the 49er game with his first year as a Viking with final sec throw and win. That game made that Vikings team his. Plus people will talk about that interception at Saints game but not the fumbles by AP or drops in the endzone by his receivers or the hi/low hits he took with no flags or the 5 4th and longs Viks defense failed at in OT. Only reason Viks were in that game was cause of Brett. Oh and people fail to mention at age 40, first year with Vikings, he was in the MVP race. This all coming from a Packer fan but I have mad respect and love for Favre one the greatest to play.
So happy to have Rob Parker back, may not agree with a lot of what he says, but debate shows are centred around debate. Conflicting opinions, conflicting arguments results in entertaining television. Keep it up guys!
I appreciate the fact that Skip loves Brett Favre. This coming from a Brett favre fan like myself, it’s absolute nonsense that he could be in anyone’s top 5.
Brett Favre had accomplished way more than Unitas and Brees. Favre had revived a whole organization and took it to playoffs and was a couple of passes away from being in 4 or 5 superbowls. Brees is top 10 but despite his greatness hasn't taken his team anyway without a good defense. Farve has had a good defense for some time, but not always and still managed without it. To put brees ahead of Favre is ridiculous.
Lmao "favre revived a whole orginization" BREES MADE THE SAINTS, they hadnt won a playoff game before he came and he took a 2-14 team to the nfc championship game in his first year. The saints were on the browns level but youre probably too young to rmbr that.
Farve was a couple of passes away from going to 4 or 5 super bowls you say, those passes he was throwing to the other team. Folks forget how many games farve cost the packers in the playoffs going way back to when aikman/smith/Irving and the cowboys were ran over everybody and those meetings vs the cowboys farve does what he does best, throw a late INT to cost his team a playoff win. There is no way that I want farve to be my QB in the fourth qtr, he plays like McNabb in crunch time. Yeah I said that. He was a good regular season QB but in the playoffs, dude was a choker!!
Respectfully there's no way I'd take Favre over Brees. Brees has better stats than Favre in almost every category, he has a higher completion percentage, QB Rating, TD/Int ratio, and he blows Favre away in yards per season average. While it's hard to say for certain because I've never been in the NFL or on the team with either QB, I'd say Brees has better leadership skills than Favre too. Brees is calm and collected and sets a great example for his team, whereas Favre showed a self centered mentality when he felt threatened about Rogers coming to Green Bay. Favre deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, but he didn't have the career Brees did in my opinion.
I'm kinda with Skip on this one. I wouldn't say he's top 5 of all time, but I do think Brett Favre is grossly underappreciated. I hear the fans, media attack Favre so much, comparing him to his successor. I get it, Aaron Rodgers is awesome and Packers fans probably don't miss Favre one bit, but that should not diminish Favre's greatness. He was still an unbelievable player. I'll never forget how fun it was to watch him play
Brett will always be #1 to me. Near the end of his Packers days, I was frustrated with him and was happy to see someone new. I did enjoy watching him play for the Vikings and I wasn't bitter he played for them.
Favre is top 10 proably in another 2-3 years top 15. I got brady montana elway brees big ben Marino peyton manning steve young kurt Warner all ahead of Favre right now he's number 11
I like how by all of Skip's shallow standards Peyton Manning is the better quarterback (more touchdowns, more yards, more MVPs, more Super appearances and victories), yet he still ranks Brett Favre ahead of him. And in true Skip Bayless fashion he either doesn't have an explanation or doesn't have a coherent/consistent explanation.
Brett favre is my childhood NFL idol and what not growing up all I loved was favre ken griffey jr in MLB & I liked Ewing in NBA personally, strictly speaking...Favre is in my top 10...its almost criminal to not include him in 10.
Ha only cause he played so long. Before he retired: Montana, Elway, Marino, and Young are better than him. And after Favre; Brady, Manning, Brees, ans Rogers. Hes #9 and thats generous. Russel Wilson will eventually pass him, You could argue that Aikman and Bradshaw are better
Brees only made it to 2 nfc championships and and 1 sb while went to five and 2 sb. Brees never had the arm of favre only mahomes really has his arm strength. Get outta here.
Will Seest I can agree with you about arm strength but Brees is the most accurate QB in NFL history! If you are judging sbs then yes he’s better than Brees. But Brees has the record for most tds and most yards passing all time and most accurate. So :/
2:14 Correct, 3 years with Favre as starting Quarterback. But Sterling played for Green Bay 1988-1994 and had 4 years on the team with Don Majkowski as starting Quarterback before Favre.
I wouldn't necessarily be enraged because while Manning did beat Bradg three time in the playoffs one of those times he got blown out by the Seahawks in the Super Bowl so it all worked out in the end
Packers fan here. Hard to put Favre in the top ten all time with all the picks and playoff games that shoulda woulda been won but were lost directly as a result of his picks. He's a well deserving first ballot HOFr but he's not on the same level as the other top ten quarterbacks all time. He gave me some of the greatest memories watching football with friends and family and will always be among the most beloved sports figures in Wisconsin.
Otto Graham anybody? 10 championship games in 10 years, and 7 wins. Way higher career passer rating than John Elway despite retiring 30 years before Elway even got to the NFL?
comebacks - He had the wow factor - it was pure entertainment - loved the guy - interceptions due to concussions - did not want Aron in Favre is Legend
Favre is top 5, EASY, people who never watched him play or forget. This man won 3 MVP's in a row in one of the most dominant streaks of QB's in the 90's then had the greatest season ever for a 40 year old, a 40 year old who played through that whole bounty gate game on the Vikings and prob should of won another MVP.
HOLD UP! so skip wont credit adam vinateri? but will defiantly tear down lebron saying that ray allen saved his legacy? hmm make sense.. more skip logic please
You do know that it's whatever fits Skip's agenda. The guy is a walking/talking hypocrite. Skip gives ZERO credit to any of BB's defenses in the SB victories but all the blame in the losses. Skip has tunnel vision when it comes to "his" guys.
Here's my top 10 (not necessarily top 10 most accomplished careers). 1. Marino 2. Brady 3. Montana 4. Elway 5. Manning 6. Unitas 7. Rodgers 8. Farve 9. Brees 10. Young I am not a Dolphins fan btw. Just want to make that clear. Marino was the most skilled QB of all time in his prime. If he had won just ONE ring at least, he would be amongst Brady and Montana in the GOAT discussion for most people. And yes. Brady > Montana. Montana had the greatest receiver of all time. Brady made his receivers great (apart from Randy Moss for a couple seasons).

HawkingRegime Montana and Bradshaw are undefeated with 4 wins. winning matters, unless you talk to a woman.
Robert Martin Forgot one player wins a Super Bowl....
It is a team but Bradshaw gets no love.
and the luck factor. We don,t talk enough about the luck factor in the playoffs.

It took me 7 minutes into this clip when Skip said tom brady had 4 superbowl rings to realize that this video was 3 years old. lol. Why did RUclips send me this?
😂😂😂😂

Keenan Bell that took me out ! They was goin at it !!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
@@KORPI24 Fouts was overrated !
I love Rob and how he uses laughter with raw truth lol
“What I like to do is dig a hole in the ground and cover it with leaves and paper and I know Skip is going to fall right in the trap”😂😂

The greatest “Skip” of all time
lmao, totally agree
the best Watch the clip where Lebron beat the Jazz

I love when Rob comes on the show
He gets the most out of skip and Sharp lol
These 3 are VERY VERY FUNNY LOL
From a Bears fan: HOF QB that any team would like to have in his prime.
The smile on Shannon face when Rob talks about his brother catch. That let's you know how he feels about his brother.
His brother could’ve had a Hall of Fame career if it wasn’t for the health issue
and now Brady has done it too
The way Uncle Shannon said “wow” had me in tears. 😭😭😭
One of the best segments on this show
bruh who be dying when Shannon says SKIP!!
One of the funniest segments of all time 😂
One thing Favre had and you see it every game he played was simple love and passion of the game.
Had to come back for Rob's opening line. Way too funny.
Had to set the tone!! 😂😂
He maintained his streak while simultaneously supporting his team the best way he could, so why judge him negatively for that? Wth???
alextrose7 because the best decision was for him to be replaced.
watching this 5 years later is absolutely comical 🤣
The football player at that table is the most legit when it’s comes to talking about Football
Skip: "Im not even a Brett Favre fan but let tell you he is in my top 5"
Shannon: "Stop it Skieeeuupp!!!!!!!" 😂😂😂😂😂
So happy to have Rob Parker back, may not agree with a lot of what he says, but debate shows are centred around debate. Conflicting opinions, conflicting arguments results in entertaining television. Keep it up guys!
7:30 thx for that skip. Genuinely made me laugh 😂😂
I appreciate the fact that Skip loves Brett Favre. This coming from a Brett favre fan like myself, it’s absolute nonsense that he could be in anyone’s top 5.
Anybody notice how joy looks after Shannon says Drew Brees
You're right about that.... remember the bags saints fans use to wear on their heads...😂
I can’t breathe.... I’m laughing out loud. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Brett wouldn't have a SB if it wasn't for Desmond Howard?! LOL This guy clearly didn't watch that game
It’s honestly insane Tom won 3 more chips since this video was posted… goat
“He supposed to turn in his own coach” ahahhahaha
I'm kinda with Skip on this one. I wouldn't say he's top 5 of all time, but I do think Brett Favre is grossly underappreciated. I hear the fans, media attack Favre so much, comparing him to his successor. I get it, Aaron Rodgers is awesome and Packers fans probably don't miss Favre one bit, but that should not diminish Favre's greatness. He was still an unbelievable player. I'll never forget how fun it was to watch him play
As a bears fan I can tell you first hand, Favre was a killer
Brett will always be #1 to me. Near the end of his Packers days, I was frustrated with him and was happy to see someone new. I did enjoy watching him play for the Vikings and I wasn't bitter he played for them.
As a niner fan, he was a thorn in our sides. Scary.
Favre is top 10 proably in another 2-3 years top 15. I got brady montana elway brees big ben Marino peyton manning steve young kurt Warner all ahead of Favre right now he's number 11
Roger's isn't nearly as fun to watch as Brett.
Brett Favre was one of top QBs for a while everyone had a Brett Jersey y'all tripping! HOF
J Silva Lmfaooo young is not better than farve and neither is brees maybe Rodgers
Mad Max Brees is definitely better than Favre
Crazy how Brady had a whole hall of fame career after this segment 😭
1. Tom Brady
2. Joe Montana
3. Peyton Manning
4. John Elway
5. Dan Marino
George Morris....good list, just flip #'s 1 & 2....even Brady says Montana is the best Qb is the best he's ever seen play the position....
@@branon6565 Brady said Rodgers is better than him too though.. so..

@@hmmjaaa Montana is the greatest big game quarterback in NFL history.... his superbowl play is perfection
@KEVIN Durants burner account he won a championship and was super bowl mvp before rice got there but yeah having Jerry rice definitely didn't hurt
my favorite player of all time...Brett favre is the man
I wonder what Staubachs career would of been if he didn't serve in the Navy. He also didn't start right away. Watching his highlights are amazing.
Remember bounty bowl?Pepperage farms remembers
Skip was so enraged at the Peyton comment beating Tom Brady the last three times in the playoffs 😂
Way different era for the NFL. It's hard to compare anyone from then to anyone from recent history
Did you even whatch Otto graham play im pretty sure the majority of Us weren't even alive back then
Yeah but they have highlights of him on TV
Mega Tron watch*
I'm not that high on Favre myself. This debate got heated tho lol.
comebacks - He had the wow factor - it was pure entertainment - loved the guy - interceptions due to concussions - did not want Aron in
Favre is Legend
Skip: I’m not even a big farve fan....
Proceeds to say some straight bull talking bout he top 5😂
Took me five minutes before I realized this was 5 years ago. Thought I was losing my mind
He wasn't ready to retire.. I honestly look at Favre as having 2 careers..
White Mamba Brady just surpassed his 40 year season.
Too many pick 6's at big moments in big games
Rob Parker doesn't know much football does he?
the_shantilly He's a Baseball writer & a HOF voter.
Liberty City El he needs to stick to baseball
he spoke facts ,but what he say that was wrong since he dint kno football
He's a cornball brotha
the_shantilly no, not much at all. He just knows how to hate
“Can I finish!” 🤣🤣🤣
4:21 Stop it Skip! 😂😂😂😂😂 that's had me in tears laughing so hard
have to comeback ad rewatch this one every now and then from time to time 😂 😂
HOLD UP! so skip wont credit adam vinateri? but will defiantly tear down lebron saying that ray allen saved his legacy? hmm make sense.. more skip logic please
1. Marino
2. Brady
3. Montana
4. Elway
5. Manning
6. Unitas
7. Rodgers
8. Farve
9. Brees
10. Young
I am not a Dolphins fan btw.
Good list but what is Steve young doing up there ?!
Rob always gets everyone all riled up lol
