Can you tell him to check out all the arts when he unlocks a new class? The arts that are there by default aren't the best option (FMJ and Lone exile). He also uses stance arts that don't do actual damage a lot in chain attacks
why does DeeBeeGeek ignore buying items from the commissary or the Nopons and why does he ignore the gem crafting system and the interlink skill tree? It seems he is making the game more difficult for himself than it needs to be. Also I think he will enjoy the game more getting gratification from the rewards of gaining SP and affinity points. but yeah everytime he stops at a camp i want to yell at my TV “Don’t forget the gem crafting DeeBee!”

I've honestly seen way too many people's playthroughs of this game, and all of them (who've played Xenoblade 1 first) knew instantly who the queen was just by looking at her, and especially after hearing her voice. This may sound like an insult, but I don't mean it that way. I understand he took a years long break from the series, so he's a bit rusty. I'm mainly just saying that seeing someone come to the shocking realization of who the queen is after hearing her name in the throne room for the first time makes this a unique experience out of all the people I've seen play this game. I think this was the intended way to find out who she is by the developers, but most hardcore Xenofans picked up on it instantly, so it kinda spoils the reveal. I'm glad Dee got to experience that
Honestly I think the year long break and him not taking super long with FC helped with that, ya. Melia’s VA direction def does deepen the original voice a bit that if you don’t remember FC too much, it could be jarring. He thought it might be Tyrea at first since she does have that deeper voice which I don’t blame him for lol

I managed to completely miss the Colony 11 side quest until much later during my first game run. I had the navigation thing on all the time and it didn't lead me close enough for the quest to trigger. I only figured it out later when I checked a list to see if I was missing a certain something :D
Love seeing you experience peak, and it's so nice to see you slowly but surely improve, was a tad painful and still is to see how you use or don't use certain things available to you, but let's just write that off as growing pains and look forward to you breaking the formula that is xenoblade 3.

Fashion is always the best reward. My goal for the game's classes is to get all outfits for all characters. Getting max rank in all characters is extremely grindy, and it's hard enough unlocking them without overleveling yourself and locking yourself from new classes.

I don't know if you know this already, but if you want you can change the Ouroboros setting for automatic interlinking in battles. Right now, the ai decides whether to interlink or not for the ai controlled characters, but it should be possible to make it manual for every Ouroboros pair. Might be useful to save the interlink for a more convenient time
She seriously lacks the machine gun jubblies... and now i would had loved it to be a feature. 😖 However i doubt such a fun Easter egg would fly in a Nintendo game, even if to be fair, this game really push the limits in other areas when it comes to Nintendo in general.
Has anyone told Dee that _Xenogears_ was initially a rejected pitch for FF7? Sure, FF7 may be influential in general, but _Xenoblade_ games take way more inspiration from _Xenogears_ than from FF. N himself is much more like two specific _Xenogears_ characters than he is like Sephiroth. The only part of the series that’s an explicit FF7 reference is that Jin, Malos, and the Torna crew in XC2 were designed by Tetsuya Nomura. Jin looks like Sephiroth and is voiced by Takahiro Sakurai (Cloud) in Japanese. To be clear, I don’t expect Dee to know this since FF7 is way more mainstream, but I think it’s important to know that Monolith Soft was founded by ex-Square employees who made _Xenogears_ and also worked on FF6 and the _Chrono_ games. In fact, Takahashi left Square _because_ Square was focusing too much on FF.

You can autobuild your characters by pressing Y, it'll be faster and mostly logical and update your accessories, normal isnt too demanding on your loadout. Adding healing arts to non healers doesnt work very well because their healing power stat is next to nothing.
Autobuild function in this game actually kind of sucks. Only fills empty slots and even then just picks the first half-decent option available. Really the bare minimum for a functional party setup if you're aiming to not have to think about builds at all.
Well, not everyone. Huge Xeno nerds, maybe. I was in the boat of "It looks like Melia", but knowing Xenoblade, she could be a different character meant to be similar to her. I'm glad he didn't realize it. It made the stream that much better.

Honestly the wings kind of made me doubt it was supposed to be Melia, they are very similar to how she looked in the first game, but pretty much every depiction of her since have had her have more brownish wings more similar to how Eunie looks. My figurine totally threw me off, since the official figurine depict the wings as more white-brownish more so then the white-grayish color. I only realized the first time she spoke after release considering the VA, but i didn't really click with the trailer.

Sena is a really really cool character. Absolutely love her. But with a standout cast like Mio, Eunie and Taion, it is hard to keep up.

Honestly, I seriously would love an explanation of how you didn't figure out the queen was Melia just by looking at her hair curls, I would never think those hair curls would be in another xenoblade character. Ignoring her voice and even her wings, those hair curls are a dead giveaway.

Honestly, it was difficult for me to place the voice because N's voice is way deeper than Noah's lol. And the long hair threw me off too
Maybe I’m an idiot, but I didn’t see it coming at all. My friend (who has never touched a Xenoblade) actually tipped me off by walking into the room, seeing an N scene with his mask on, and saying “isn’t that your main character?” I had no idea.

Kind of the same for me. I mean, in the anime-style a lot of faces are similar simply due to the style itself, so I mostly thought "just because the eyes are similar (blue eyes are not so rare) the hair is black and long (we never see Noah without his ponytail and black is also a common colour) doesn't mean it's *not* a red hering". Also jumping to the a conclusion, that two same people exist in a world wouldn't be my first thought as well.
