- Ange Postecoglou gave his Tottenham Hotspur press conference ahead of the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Liverpool on Wednesday.

Happy to make sure we have everyone fully fit for the europa. It's the biggest prize we can win. Using the players more match fit at anfield makes sense as it's the hardest place to go in Europe. Would like to see a few back for villa though

I would advise any aspiring manager to study Ange’s press conferences (the pre-match ones) as they are, as you say, a masterclass. Insight, original thinking and comment, engaging, always giving a line (which is what we want) and just fascinating to listen to. Trust me, this is not par for the course

Our season doesn’t hinge on this game or the FA Cup. Of course it will be fantastic and miraculous to get a result but don’t forget Amsterdam, miracles can happen.
