This is just too good, crochet taken to another level all together...thank you for sharing the techniques...though they are a little tough...but will get it.
Hi there!! I'm an avid crocheter and have built my business on making amigurumis. I've never seen such a technique for seamless motif joins. Love this!! Towards the end of the video, the image with the various colors to demonstrate the various start and stopping points is UNBELIEVABLY helpful!! Thank you for such a great video. Your dogwood shawl popped up in my Ravelry project highlights so I think I might have to give this a go. Forget training wheels, time to get messy!! Thank you again for such an easy to follow overview of this technique. Really cool!
I love this so much! The first time I saw your patterns I had no idea how you could connect such tiny motifs, but now I know and I love this technique. I'd try a rug with this pattern, it would be so squishy and so cool 😍
I really enjoyed your tutorial. You have a very calm and patient teaching technique and voice. I was expecting it to be more like the Bavarian pattern. But it really is quite different. Thanks for sharing this 😂 Cheers 🥂
This is so cool Lisa. You truly are ingenious to come up with this. I am 74 years old and still love learning new things. I can't wait to show my younger friends my sample and share your videos. Thank you so much for this 🥰
I found you First on FB and I also found you on Ravelry I left a comment there, I am Very Happy about learning Anything New and Thank You So Much for your Time and Love to teach us about your new technique ❣❤💕💗💞💝
WOW I must congratulate you . The way you start much sense its ingenious. The way you procede across then around the rows reminds me of how I crochet squares together. Talk about an ahha moment . I am looking forward to more videos from you about your technique .👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you. It takes practice, but you can also use another way of making the floating rings as I demo here: ruclips.net/video/fQnJvOfnLIU/видео.htmlsi=LOTuVs_6KcNV-60Z&t=16m
I should VERY MUCH like to learn to do this, Lisa. But since my husband died I find I can only learn in the most basic manner: things have to be clearly laid out, and in a logical order. I wonder if you've given any consideration to creating an eBook of the whole Breakaway Crochet method - a primer, in fact ? I do know there are many videos of instructions regarding various patterns; but it's a step-by-step method I'm after. OTY, pleadingly ..
I’m sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. I have an ebook available that sets out the basic concepts in a very detailed way. It is on Ravelry and you can download it for free (you don’t need an account to download). Hopefully it will give you all the background you need, and the video will fill in any gaps. The link to the ebook is: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/breakaway-training-wheels. All the best, Lisa
@@breakawaycrochet I am such a klutz ! - I didn't check you out on Ravelry. Thank-you from the heart: you are both kind and tolerant !! I have it now, and greatly look forward to finding out all about your amazingly creative and innovative version of this craft !!
I've been crocheting since 1972 . I've always loved the look of joined motif but disliked the joining. This ? is genius ; i'm deeply grateful.
So good to hear a new door has opened for you! Thanks for watching 😊
Absolutely brilliant! Brits throw that word around like bread to ducks, but really mean it!
Lol thank you!
This is incredible and so ingenious. It never ceases to amaze me how clever some people are. Thank you for sharing this with us.
You’re welcome ☺️. It’s always so nice to hear when people “get it”.

Thank you! It was hard for me too in the beginning, hang in there!

A rug would be awesome! Please share with me when it’s done 🥰

Listen, youngster ! - would you tell me how you managed to get on top of all this - and where you started, please ?

Thank you Lesley, thanks for watching 😊
Well that answers that question! You are AWESOME!!!! :)
Too kind! Thank you 😘😘😘
I love that stitch, though I prefer the technique of 7sc, sl st in 5,6,7 ch from hook, it’s easier than the floating ring for me.
Brilliant!
I kove how this looks, but I'm struggling to keep hold of all the different bits of the yarn and keep loops a consistent size.
Thank you. It takes practice, but you can also use another way of making the floating rings as I demo here: ruclips.net/video/fQnJvOfnLIU/видео.htmlsi=LOTuVs_6KcNV-60Z&t=16m
well done...
