In Marvel phase 17 "Ant-Man and the wasp and the Ant-Man and the Wasp and the Ant and the Wasp Man and the Ant Wasp and the man and the wasp and the Man-Ant and the Ant-Ant and the Wasp-Wasp and the Man-Man and the Ant-Wasp-Man."
I think part of the problem is that it wasn't executed well in Homecoming. Peter and Liz didn't have great chemistry there (as far as I can remember), but Nando's pitch fixes that. In this story, Peter and Jenny would have similar contexts, skills, and interests, and both would be part-time superheroes. Jenny would actually make a plot summary, whereas Liz seemed more like an extra who happened to be Peter's crush.
@@ejipuh Exactly. While the twist was well done and GENUINLY got me in Homecoming. It's obvious that the concept of the twist came FIRST, and the character was written in to set it up
@@He-Man00also it'd be fun if Peter actually realizes this and suspects that Jenny's father is Tombstone because of his experience with Vulture, but then hit him with the actual twist that Jenny is also the Beetle.
I’m really happy you mentioned Pete not swinging through the city in the Home trilogy. Some of the best visuals in any Spider-Man medium is watching a master acrobat swing through the sky. Graceful and powerful, yet quick and subtle.
I think they avoided Holland's Spiderman swinging around Manhattan because the whole trilogy turned out to be an origin story. That's why the last scene had him swinging around Rockefeller Center as a way of saying he is finally Spiderman rather than spiderboy.
That's what I'll always love about Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man. The web swinging aspect of the movies was never lacking. In fact, Garfield's Spider-Man had the best web swinging and combat abilities of any of the Spider-Man characters in live-action.
@@zengamer21 that’s a really interesting idea! Tbh, I don’t really think that was their plan from the start, Spider-Man since inception has swung through cityscapes. Might be saving face, or could be true; but love the theory!
This pitch is pretty much perfect. Only thing is I would change Jenny form being Tombstone's daughter to someone else because it feels like a recycled idea from homecoming (Liz being Vulture's daughter) but I personally wouldn't mind if she was or wasn't Tombstone's daughter.
And goblins son being goblin. Why do we need villain nepotism. Maybe the villain could be someone who's father or mother died because spiderman failed some place. Wait.. Thats also sam raimi.
Since the Daredevil show is officially canon (the marvel website refers to a bunch of events from the show for its pages about Matt and Fisk) I think it's safe to say that in the MCU rent in New York IS cheaper than real life, there are multiple moments in S1 and 2 where they talk about how "the incident" brought prices down significantly, maybe they've recovered since then but I imagine half the population vanishing for five years and then suddenly coming back would probably have a pretty substantial impact on the housing market too lol
Pretty sure having that many people come back would cause a lack of availability in the housing market, making things that much more expensive due to demand.
@@Dac629 oh definitely, but there’s at least precedent to say that all the attacks on new york (they just had a mob shootout in the middle of the city and a massive squid demon rampage through the streets so there's definitely recent developments) keep prices somewhat lower
@@Marb315 Those actually wouldn't get that much of an impact because there's always a big world impending doom, so at this point people must have created some disaster fund in case those happen, but the higher amount of people looking for places would definitely raise the prices because it was something that stabilized over 5 years and then came back all at once. At best, I'd say authorities would go "ughhh, there's another big monster on the 3rd street, I didn't even have lunch today!"
I think this would be a lot of fun but I'd love to see a movie focused on Spider-Man and Black Cat. I think now is the perfect time to introduce her, when Peter essentially no longer exists, and the only people who recognize him recognize the costume... And there's no one who cares more about *Spider-Man* than Black Cat. I think it especially works well with a black suit storyline, if they're planning to introduce that.
I have feeling Sony gonna try to keep hold of Black Cat for there solo films, so this would be a great replacement if Marvel can’t fully get Black Cat.
What about we have that and black cat is stealing from both Tombstone and Hammer Head so Peter is fighting a gang war with black cat. We can have a fun scene where he meets Luke Cage and fight Tombstone
I think you may have misuploaded this. I completely understand that thing where you spill something on your keyboard and then (whilst trying to clean it up) accidentally publicly upload a video to RUclips instead, but it seems like this might be meant for someone called Kevin, and I am not called Kevin, so I think you've made a mistake somewhere.
At the end of NWH, Happy tells Peter he knew May "through Spider-Man" so I think it's safe to say all the Spider-Man avengers stuff did happen. The avengers remember that Spidey was at the important events, just not who he is.
I was really surprised at how original and well thought out this pitch was. Everyone else goes for the usual big names like Kraven, Black Cat or introducing Harry Osborne. You really took the time to make this pitch your own unique thing
I actually had the same idea of Peter using his connection to Betty to get a job as a photographer at the Daily Bugle. I’d take it a step further though and say that she becomes his new best friend and maybe even regains her memories of him at some point. As for the villain I think I’d probably just go with Kingpin as the main villain but I’d definitely work in Scorpion too, maybe as his henchman or something. Just because I love Michael Mando. I’d also introduce Black Cat as his new ally and love interest and probably work in something to do with the venom goo that got left behind in NWH.
I definitely want Black Cat to be introduced and by the 5th movie (or end of 4th) becomes Peter’s love interest. I would want Black Cat to remain the love interest but I doubt they would do that so it will probably be a love triangle and MJ will end up with Peter. With the love triangle aspect, MJ could relearn who Peter is and confront him thus confusing him while Black Cat steals again causing conflict and ultimately Black Cat grows distant and Peter learns he doesn’t need to keep MJ (and Ned) at a distance for their protection. Then he must decide to be occasionally criminal with Black Cat or entirely a hero with MJ (and Ned and Avengers for future conflicts).
Peter taking photos for _The Daily Bugle_ feels odd to me in modern day cause both the MCU & the PS4 games shows HD photos of Spidey taken by civilians, which works cause smartphones can take great pics. Peter being paid for HQ photos of Spidey worked from 1960s-2000s, but seems too outdated now. NWH showed tons of media/civilian taken HD pics of him, so why would there suddenly only be blurry pics of him that Peter would now use as a job opportunity?
@@radrno7 No, I'm saying the idea of a newspaper or media outlet hiring someone specifically for pictures of a public superhero might be outdated nowadays
@@loganbigmo maybe he just has a job as a regular photographer or videographer but occasionally for quick and easy money he gets pictures and videos of spiderman and other heroes. or maybe since past events peter is being more careful and people barely see him anymore and j jonah is obsessed and he personally wants the pictures and wants to know his whereabouts and actions all the time. honestly i could see this being something they cut out entirely and have him just exclusively work in the scientific field.
I know it makes the most sense to have this next trilogy transition Peter into more of mentor/equal role with heroes the same age and younger than him, like Black Cat, Silk Spectre, Beetle or Miles Morales, but I would really love to have this first movie be a Daredevil team-up movie. I’m glad everybody agrees this next movie needs to have Spider-Man in New York fighting street-level villains, so I think it would be a shame not to have Spider-Man tangle with vigilantes and organized crime that already exists in New York, like Daredevil and Kingpin. With all of this cosmic/multiverse stuff I really just want Marvel to know they can take a step back when the narrative demands it and just give us a simple movie that explores Peter’s character becoming an adult, and of course I’d love to see Spiderman and Daredevil stop a bank robbery.
We could see Daredevil in a cameo without him being a big part of the movie. In one of Nando's side ideas, he suggested that the movie could open with the fight of Spidey taking down the minor villain of Big Wheel. That could even be where Daredevil works with him for a minute and then they continue their separate ways. I think it'd be pretty cool to show that Spider-Man has been doing things and has understandings with other heroes, but as soon as he goes back to Peter, he's alone again. That's why the Jenny/Beetle idea could be cool. Because Peter is the one who needs to fill a void, not Spidey.
I think it would be cool to have Spidey and DD fight a throwaway villain they had in common: Stilt-Man. Just have them both meet for the first time as they take him down and find out a secret crime ring linked to Kingpin.
For me I think the first film of a college Spider-Man trilogy has to feature Felicia Hardy/Black Cat, even if she doesn’t suit up we need to set her up for the future, she can be his new ally but is also a bad influence in some ways. Absolute agree with Tombstone being the main antagonist for the trilogy, Silvermane or Hammerhead would be really interesting to bring in too either as his henchmen with their own desires to overthrow him or his outright competitors for a gang war. They also really need to bring back Scorpion, they did all the set up for him and haven’t paid it off yet so they need to bring him back. Finally, I know it’s the obvious choice but it’s obvious for a reason, but I want to see a full black suit arc, give him the suit at the end of the first film when he really needs a power boost. Have it until the end of the 2nd and the 3rd is his recovery where he is noticeably weaker and struggles just as things are at their most bleak Also I did like the home trilogy, but that moniker needs to go, the next subtitles should come from colours, Spider-Man: Blue Moon (maybe his class mates call him that mockingly as he so rarely ever goes out or does anything social), Spider-Man: Black Star (the new suit is making him more and more popular as he becomes more successful at stopping these gang wars) Spider-Man Red Day (no idea how to make that fit but I like the idea that the 1st and 3rd films are his classic colours with the black in the middle)
Things I want this movie to set up: •Spider-Man and Peter personality struggle •daredevil side story that could come from this movie (picking up the pieces and fixing Spider-Man issues) •maybe a connection with Shang Chi probably not this movie but soon •peter holding onto the connection/stalking Ned and MJ by seeing what they accomplish in MIT and what they invent (setting up Ned as hobgoblin or a wizard character) •have mister negative also have a connection with the hand and have Peter uncover the crime of New York •peter still volunteers at the homeless shelter •End credits, Wilson is back, he's blind but is told about Spiderman stopping Tombstone. He says something like "I guess we're gonna need professional to catch this bug" (yes I know Spiders are not bugs) but it hints at kraven maybe
Great, but one thing i might add. Bring back aaron davis as the prowler for one of the assasins sent after peter, further the introduction of miles by maybe name dropping him or even showing a younger version. Maybe have aaron be another sympathetic villain.
I really like this pitch, especially on the point of title change. The “home” gimmick was fun, but seeing Spectacular Spider-Man on the big screen and posters would be really cool
I really like the idea of Peter working with heroes his own age so I personally would love to see a live-action take of Spider-Man and his Amazing friends where Peter teams up with Iceman and Firestar
Honestly if you wanted to, you could swap Beetle with Black Cat. Like instead of her using her engineering skills to make a flight suit, she could use them to make an "agility" suit. You could still have her team up with Spider-Man to stop the other bounty hunters. And you can still have her turn on Peter, but instead of it being because of familial ties, she'd do it because she wanted the bounty and the only reason she helped him in the first place was to make sure no one else could cash in. And if you wanted to keep the family theme, she's could be doing the bounty to pay off her father's debts. You could also do some fun things with Black Cat, like maybe stealing test answers for their upcoming final or even into the campus' financial building and wipe Peter's debt; something that Peter allows to pass because he gets to profit off it, but realizes later it was wrong.
I feel like Liz Allen should be reintroduced into the film as the Beatles or Vultress. I feel that she's the only woman that Peter can pursue after the heartbreak of MJ. There would be so much drama involved in this relationship and I'd be hyped to see how they would interact
Bring Liz Allen back as Vultress for sure, swearing revenge on Spider-Man for putting her dad in prison; my headcanon, tragically, is he died in prison while she and her mother were dusted by Thanos, so she literally never got a chance to say goodbye. It recycles the Harry Osborne ideas from the Raimi films but... not in the worst way!
I felt the Insomniac Tombstone felt more like a very thuggish minor mob leader rather than a true criminal boss. The animated Spectacular Spider-Man's iteration of Tombstone seems to fit this storyline better imo
Do you think peter leaving MJ was more 'she would have to know I'm spiderman for me to explain what happened, which could put her in danger again' or 'I don't want people close to me because I'll bring danger'? If its the latter I think a pretty large part of the next movie will be him learning to get close to people again. But I guess Spiderman 1 -> Spiderman 2 ignored a similar situation.
I LOVE the pitch but I'm somewhat confused on Jenny's intentions. If Jenny serves a love interest to Peter is it because she is manipulating Peter to do what she wants or does she really like Peter?
Yes. And the tension there (do I actually like him or just think he's useful?) can make her a more interesting character if there's a place to show it.
I got the sense that she was kind of standing in for Black Cat in some ways, the Batman/Catwoman mention makes me think it'll be flirting snark in costumes and a will-they/won't-they outside of them. I don't think she's a master manipulator, her civilian identity as a college student is just as real as Peter's and her vigilante goals are sometimes aligned with and sometimes at odds with Spider-Man. Since neither of them realize at first that they know each other from both places, I don't think it works as a scheme. That said, I don't see her as a long term love interest - more of a freshman fling.
Honestly… here’s the thing for me. The next film needs 2 characters, Black Cat, and Scorpion. Why? Because those 2 are the 2 big last holdouts. Notable major Spider-Man characters (to the point where people outside of comics fandom know about them) who haven’t gotten a major big screen appearance over the course of the Spider Man’s overall film lineup. With MJ out of the way, changing out the love interest to Black Cat is a a major move that kinda needs to happen RN. And Scorpion… does work for this current Peter, as with Peter having no backstory, and Scorpion’s infamous jealousy over Spider Man’s powers, it makes sense to have a villain determined specifically to identify & study him in such a fashion.
there are two other major villains (black cat isn't technically a villain but just go with it lol) that haven't showed up in a live action Spider-Man movie but unfortunately because Sony keeps making their terrible marvel movies Kraven and Chameleon are probably off the table. Personally I would love if they brought Daredevil and Kingpin into Spider-Man 4 for more substantial roles than NWH and Hawkeye gave them but I doubt somewhat that that'd happen (even though if Sony insists on a teamup in this one again Matt would probably be an ideal choice because even though he wouldn't remember Peter he would basically have to believe Peter's explanations about them having met before which would just be a really interesting way to form their relationship imo)
@@Marb315 Ya, those 2 are kinda out due to the Venomverse. (Also… Chameleon wouldn’t be the best to use in this film anyway, as he doesn’t really work in a story where Peter had no identity for him to steal yet) I COULD also see Screwball in this thing though now, given how much the comics have been pushing her as a bigger villain, and that she really works well for the whole “hidden agenda, face behind the mask” idea Peter would have to face now that he’s lost all sense of identity.
I agree with a lot of this but I think I would bring in MJ and Ned sooner than later somehow. 1. MJ promised she’d find out, some way some how, and there was hints of memory in the coffee shop. 2. A villain finding out the people Spider-Man cares about even tho he tried to hide and separate from them would sting. 3. I’m from Mass and would love to see him swing in Boston for a scene or two lol
Really want to see a solo spider man story, with black cat and his journey trying to navigate through college while meeting Harry and Gwen and realizing that all of those villains and people he learned about are in his world and that they just haven't changed yet. I'd like petter to be anxiety ridden, trying to prevent the creation of these villains or deaths or whatever, and learning important lessons like you can't save everyone. This peter has a lot to learn still
Yeah that’s kinda what I thought. It’s a bit different because in this pitch she’s actively trying to stop her father, but still that idea is very generic and it’s been done to death.
i think tombstone would be much more different than vulture. vulture had what, 15 goons total? he did lowkey heists ans was committed to staying off the radar. setting up tombstone as a kingpin type, who will show up in future movies, would be a smart move.
I think, an interesting idea would be for this trilogy to focus on the war on crime. And the vacuum that’s been left in that post snap mcu. Like the first movie is tombstone, the second movie is Mr negative and then ending the trilogy with kingpin. It could be like that one episode of spectacular Spiderman where all the villains are fighting each other for power. Except spanned over an entire trilogy.
My pitch is that I would have scorpion be hired by kingpin to take down spider-man and have black cat be a foe/ally for spider-man throughout the film against scorpion and kingpin. Then for a post credit scene I would have Spencer Smythe as the villain for the next film who can be the MCU’s version of Doc Ock. (I’m also going to be saving the left over Symbiote to bond with spider-man for secret wars)
my biggest hope is that we get flash and felicia as spider-man’s new allies in the next movie. i think it would be fun bc we’ve already had mary jane’s and gwen love interests so seeing spider-man’s 3rd main love interest written out on the big screen would be nice. i also think it’d be cool utilize flash’s character for once as an ally, i don’t know how to bring him back into play, but i think it’d be nice to have a fresh new group with similar dynamics to ned and mj and having a character who’s already been introduced and only having to introduce one new character would help a lot with familiarity. also tony revolori is a great actor and he’s overdue for a bigger part. my black cat fancast favs are ella balinska and sydney sweeney. ella already is amazing with stunts and almost got the batman catwoman role so it’d be nice to see her get a similar one. sydney sweeney already looks the part, there are some comics where the art looks exactly like her too, i wouldn’t be surprised if she was used as a reference like john krasinski my problem with beetle is that we already got the daughter of a villain love interest trope with liz, we already have enough characters like that in the mcu (gamora, nebula, echo) where the storyline would feel played out as we have already explored father daughter dynamics like that many times. she’s also not an iconic character of sorts that i feel needs to be introduced to the mcu at this point. more unknown heroes just aren’t gonna have an impact on audiences (like even ant-man who is a popular character- the amt of ppl that thought antman just had ant powers was astounding) also black cat is a fan favorite for a reason, so i really hope we can see her in a marvel movie (idrk what’s going on with madame web rn)
@ Nando V Movies 10:53 What about the ACTUAL ENFORCERS? You know, Dapper Dan, The cowboy dude and Ox? They’re incredibly old school and would be a great fan shout out!
Janice Lincoln is NOT in Far From Home; that is a very understandable misconception created by the MCU Wiki, which has a policy of applying names of dubiously similar comic characters to characters without last names. (slightly irresponsible imo given their wide influence)
@@scifiguy9000 The Wikipedia page got that information from a Screen Rant page that doesn't cite sources and I suspect they also got the name from the MCU Wiki. 3:30 Electro did present a choice, in that he was literally a metaphore for Peter's responsibility. Peter chose to go with Gwen, and then Electro attacked, which presented Peter with a final choice between his responsibilty and being with Gwen
The characters I wanna see in the next MCU spider-man film is Scorpion and Black cat. I feel like that deserve a chance on the big screen since we haven't seen them that much. It would be a great opportunity to bring in Black Cat as Spider-Man's new Love interest and also have scorpion be the main villain while he works for Kingpin
This is the Spider-Man 4 we all deserve. Spectacular pitch 👏 👏👏 Perfect cast of characters and I love that you're going for a more personal and unique Spider-Man movie.
Had to stop halfway through to check in for a moment. Given Nando's writing chops and history of 1uping the MCU I'm pretty sure I'm just setting myself up for disappointment when the real thing lands. Now I'll finish watching
Very surprised you didn’t use Scorpion as the villain, considering Gargan wants revenge on Spidey & hasn’t returned. Could’ve had him be Tombstone’s solution & troublesome enough to require a team up to takedown & possibly have Tinkerer come back too since he never got caught as Tombstone’s tech guy
Instead of "Jenny," can we amalgamate her with Indy from TNAS? She's historically into media production, which kind of fits with the engineering techy vibe, and they can connect over photography. Her aloof nature and her responsibility to her family would cause some internal conflict that ties nicely into the way Tombstone manipulates her
I feel like they should go with Scorpion, especially if he starts working at the Daily Bugle. Perfect way to tie in Jonah creating Scorpion to go after Spidey
Since you’re the guy for it, I thought I’d give an idea of my own that’s been rattling in my head on/off for a potential Spider-Man movie: a Rogues Gallery Transplant villain from Daredevil. Who am I thinking of, though? None other than the Owl aka Leland Owsley, one of Matt Murdock’s adversaries who was massively overshadowed later by the Kingpin (a transfer from Spidey himself to DD)… Worth noting of course, that he’s in the Daredevil series originally on Netflix, Leland Owsley was changed into a much older man played by Bob Gunton, and was merely a crooked businessman who was killed off by Fisk at the end of Season One. That being said, the same series had Owsley mention his SON, Lee; in the comics, the Owl was indeed the son of a man with that occupation. So my proposal is to make Leland Owsley, Jnr. aka “Lee” Owsley into the Owl. After his father’s death and other stuff, Lee Owsley fell into crime
I think if anything, the after credit scene could be MJ, Ned, and Flash sitting in a class/study group in a similar nothing happening as the 2012 Avengers post credit shwarma bit
One thing I definiately agree with is not bringing back this MJ and Ned. Would reflect on real life a bit too, as high school friends and crushes are often drift apart. And also it's kind of a boring trope that the first love from school for the main hero stays with them as their life partner. Also Peter in the comics has several relationships. A short fling with Betty Brant, the doomed big love with Gwen Stacy, Black Cat adventures, Mary-Jane the big one, and then some others. So why not utilize them?
I think that would work, but I'd put Black Cat in instead of Beetle (she's too important not to introduce), and I'd have Kraven be the main villain, the guy Tombstone hires using Chameleon to do so, leading to Kraven as the Terminator style villain of the film. I'd add that you could still feature other villains, but they'd be one and done, rather than recurring foes. This would be if the Kraken film wasn't a thing, but it is, so I guess I'll have to go with your version, oh well.
I love the idea of a Tombstone story that brings Janice & the Robertsons into the fold, and I’ve already been begging Marvel for a Superior Foes Disney+ show whenever it’s legally possible so 100%. And everything here would feel totally fresh from a Spidey movie perspective.
I was reading Superior Foes and the Nick Spencer Spidey recently, and I love the idea of introducing Female Beetle in Peter's life as part of the new MCU status quo, and I love the way you laid the groundwork for his whole extended cast to pave the way for a Tombstone movie, including Randy and Robbie so as to draw more connections between Peter and tombstone, but Marvel won't have the cajones to do it.
My pitch for MCU Spider-Man 4 would be is to focus on Spider-Man and Black Cat as the main focus. They need to meet, get together, fall in love and become a couple, while helping each other going through their issues. Also, Marvel needs to make them a crime-fighting dynamic duo in this one and the next films going forward
I feel like Mr. Negative could be the villain who they'll set up to be the 6th Spiderman MCU film villain. Although I would love for a MCU Norman played by Jason Isaacs and Harry Osborn played by Timothée Chalamet be set up in Spiderman 4 and Peter constantly be confused about if his Norman is evil or not along with having flashbacks to Aunt May's death each time he sees Norman and for Spiderman 4 to have Kingpin as the main villain while Norman pulls the strings leading to Kingpin's defeat. Then 5 could have Venom or Mister Negative as a main villain, if Venom then Mr.. Negative as a 2nd villain in Spiderman 6
2 ideas I have (before watching video) 1. spiderman/black cat heist movie, Peter does more not so spiderman things as he falls for black cat (turns against her wants he sees it’s toxic) 2. (My favorite of the two but I thing the ships sailed on it happening) we find out scarlet spider (Ben) filled in for Peter during the blip aunt may saw there was a spiderman out there and thought it was Peter and convinced Ben to meet with her and he founds out all about Peter and she kinda guides him to reel in his more angrier fighting and shapes him to be more like Peter and ofc gives him his name after Ben Parker and her maiden name. Now that peters back as Spider-Man he stopped being spiderman but when he saw may died he kinda loses it and goes out to blow off steam. Now spiderman wondering who this is has the two clash a lot throughout the movie before a reluctant team up to fight (insert bigger threat here, maybe have it looming in the background throughout but both are too concerned with the other to notice until now)
Also helps that the current (June 2022) run of Amazing Spider-man is a Tombstone story, so it’s not like they don’t have enough material to get people interested
I think you should involve Daredevil at the start as well, have Peter vent his frustrations to him and use him as the springboard for the photos idea. Could be fun.
I first thought this was coming off bloated and hard to make sense of, then I remembered that MCU would have their hands on this, not just Sony. There may be a chance. I’ve been mostly wanting to finally see the Scorpion hit the big screen and thought it would be some sort of poetry to have one of the villains hinted at in the first of the Home trilogy be the first villain in the upcoming trilogy. Plus, I imagined having Parker start working at the Bugle and J. J. start pushing for the Spider-Man’s fall. Enlisting, or even creating, the Scorpion like the titular first episode of the amazing 90’s Spidey cartoon. I like the addition of the street level thugs as that is such a big part of the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man that we don’t see in the bigger MCU so far. Having Spider take down a crime boss like Tombstone is a great idea. I would NOT want to see both these plots run side by side, or risk the bloating mentioned earlier. Oh, that is why I don’t know if I want to see a team up. I want to see Peter/Spidey on his own for this whole movie. Let us get close to him and put him ground level, ready to be built up. Starting with a personal threat, followed by a neighborhood size threat, before we enter into a larger, city wide threat for the final installment of the trio. Spider-Man can start to interact with the Fantastic Four and other New Avengers being introduced through this time period, too, without detracting from Peter’s personal story.
One Small change… Well maybe 2. Instead of just Tombstone, I’d have the plot center on a gang war between Tombstone and Kingpin. Replace Beetle with Black Cat, throw in Daredevil as a supporting character, and I think you have the recipe for another billion dollar Spider-Man movie.
Not every Spidey movie needs Avengers cameos and 6 villains and 3 Spiderman. But this still feels like too big of a step back after No Way Home. It's a tough sell for general audiences. No MJ, no Ned, no big bad threat beyond B list criminals. This feels more like a plot for a smaller Disney+ series rather than a 200 million dollar blockbuster.
Frank Lloyd Wright would create a narrowed, small door/archway to create the sensation of entering into a bigger space. Reducing the scope of the first film allows for expanding out.
I really love this pitch, but I'm not sold on hinting at a relationship between Spider-man and Beetle since I think her being in a relationship with Randy Robertson was great in recent comics and it wouldn't necessarily be out of place here, since Randy doesn't really have much to do with the story of the pitch outside being Peter's roommate and Robbie's son. Having his crush/girlfriend turn out to be an anti-hero whose crime boss dad hates his dad gives him more to do in the story and would be keeping Peter on his toes in and out of costume, such as giving relationship advice about dating a vigilante or convincing Beetle to not break bad using Randy. Overall would add more drama and be pretty funny.
Plus, it definitely didn't seem like Peter was just going to move on (emotionally) from MJ at the end of his last movie. So maybe he doesn't need to be in another relationship just yet.
For the post credits scene have it revealed that while the climactic fight was happening Tombstone was robbed. All that was left behind in his safe a statuette of a black cat.
This is such a perfect pitch imo. Nando makes a lot of great points such as MJ and Ned being in Massachusetts, and not using Gwen Stacy. The villain isn’t someone we’ve already seen like Venom, and uses smaller time characters, and best of all, it’s self contained. Every other video I’ve seen about this is like “Tobey and Andrew return!!! Peter falls in love with Gwen and Harry is his roommate!!! Peter gets the symbiote and teams up with Black Cat against Kingpin!!!👿”
Hey Nando, if you see this, I have a question/theory: For several years, I had really been hoping that the MCU would start dropping in little hints and/or background cameos of who would become their The Sentry. (BTW, I finally found my dream-casting for Sentry: Jimmi Simpson) Anyhoo, once I saw No Way Home, I realized that Marvel MAY be trying to set-up Peter Parker as a sort of non-union equivalent of Sentry, and possibly give him a "one last time" story at the end of phase 5. I'm just really curious if you have had that thought too, and what you think of the theory.
Spider-Man: Home Bound Opening Scene: Spider-Man stops a crook named Chameleon who is stealing diamonds from a mansion who works for Mr. Negative. Act 1: Peter tries to get his life back together. He tries to reunite with friends, he visits Aunt May at the grave, and goes to M.I.T. Peter starts to hang out with his “new” friends, but is not very popular. While the friends hang out, MJ develops a crush on Peter. Act 2: Ned’s Grandma believes Jameson and convinces Ned to hate Spider-Man. For the next week, Ned feels suspicious of Peter and hatches a plan to stop Spider-Man. MJ and Flash tell Ned he’s crazy, but he goes to Peter’s house anyway. After watching Nando discusss the legitimacy of Big Wheel in the MCU for 1:30 minutes straight. I can definitively conclude that he should be the villain of phase 5.
Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends vs the Sinister 6: Villains - Sinister 6: Shocker from Homecoming Darter - Randy from Homecoming Scorpion - Mac Gargan from Homecoming Mysterio Beetle - Janice Lincoln from Far from Home A New Villain to unite them, like Hobgoblin, Sauron or Stegron Tinkerer (Homecoming) as tech support Allies: Firestar - Angelica Jones, college classmate Iceman, to hint at the X-men & provide 80's nostalgia of Spiderman & his Amazing Friends; college classmate
Love the idea and would love to see this one the big screen. But I think we can add at least Felicia Hardy in one of Peter’s classes just for an introduction. Then maybe for a post credit scene we just see her claws or Black Cat breaking into a jewelry store.
Just watched on Nebula but can't comment there... This. Is. Phenomenal. I wonder what they are aiming for in extending the franchise, but this is seriously a great launching point for a more self contained Spider-verse, and gives the character a richer cinematic backdrop to play in for future stories.
17:34 you say he was never hunted by the police, but literally the start of nwh has him being taken by damage control while avoiding a bunch people who knew who he was
At the risk of re-treading the recent PS4 Spider-Man game from Insomniac, I would really love to see Felicia Hardy and Silver Sablinova make it into the MCU. Hardy especially, since her recent solo run from Jed Mackay (Moon Knight, Death of Dr. Strange) was a FANTASTIC entry for the character. And with some of the that 90s nostalgia that's been growing lately, a 90s glam-punk version of Silver Sable could be really fun foiled against modern straight-man Tom Holland. That said, I love this pitch so much. Beetle and Tombstone make a killer pairing for the screen, and I'm dying to get something that pits Peter against the mob.
So, I been thinking about the future of Spider-Man in the MCU since NWH and what they should do with the character. Like you said there's a lot of villains in Spider-Man's rogue gallery that could use attention and would work for a few more Spider-Man films. I think Mister Negative would be pretty great, but I also think they should also use Alistair Smythe and Spencer Smythe. I'll explain here shortly. Also instead of Tarantula, I think it would be easier to reintroduce Scorpion / Mac Gargen as a mercenary for Tombstone, so it would be Scorpion, Shocker, and Overdrive. Felicia Hardy / Black Cat should also be in the film but only as a minor character that introduced in two different scenes. One is where Peter meets Felicia Hardy on campus at Empire State, they meet briefly and nothing more happens past that... yet. The next time they meet it's before the Mercenaries attack him. Black Cat is trying to get away from Spider-Man after she stole something from a lab, Spider-Man and Black Cat have a little fight with Black Cat and he manages to get the bag from Black Cat after webbing her. However, before he can doing anything else he is attacked by Scorpion, Shocker and Overdrive. After Spider-Man manages to get away from the mercenaries maybe Overdrive is defeated by Spider-Man and arrested while Scorpion and Shocker get away. We seen Black Cat talking to a shadowy figure and giving him a device and asking if they are even yet, with the shadowy figure saying they are. He can be creepy and call her kitten, or something. Everything else could play out with how you put it, I would also find a way to introduce Jean DeWolf as the Police Captain and Yuri Watanabee as a police detective under her. Basically, Mister Negative is going to be an overarching villain of the trilogy and he has Alistair Smythe working with him to create different weapons to fight Spider-Man with and he has various artifacts from different villains like Green Goblin's mask. Spectacular Spider-Man 2 could introduce the Inner Demons & Hobgoblin while reintroducing Black Cat / Felicia Hardy, MJ and Ned Leeds. -- Peter meets Miles Morales in this film, who doesn't have powers. Spectacular Spider-Man 3 could introduce Rhino, while establishing Alistair Smythe & Mister Negative as bigger villains and in this film, Miles Morales gets his powers and sets up a Ultimate Spider-Man mini-series that sets up a Miles Morales film series. Basically the mini-series would be Peter training Miles Morales while dealing with the idea of leaving the life of superhero to be with MJ officially. -- I also think Vermin would be a cool villain to see and honestly, wouldn't mind seeing him instead of Overdrive, but maybe they can save him for when they introduce Miles Morales. --
A spiderman -kingpin story would be nice too. If i wanna see peter fight a mob boss , yeah it’d be kingpin. But again, that can be done in the future as a spidey-daredevil crossover against kingpin.
Nice video, really like your ideas. I’m pretty sure the spell Doctor Strange did made Spider-man’s accomplishments stay, but anything to do with Peter Parker himself has been wiped away. So I’m pretty sure people remember Spider-Man in endgame. Love your vids!
I like the principal ideas here! I like the base story too. But I feel like there’s no point in using C-list characters as they won’t really build a relationship with him beyond this music. I’d rather have Harry, Gwen, Black Cat and Kingpin as the villain
I kinda had a concept for a Beetle variant called Mushiko Hime who was practically the Beetle but a virtual performer in the same vain as Hatsune Miku or Kizuna Ai. They were practically Ultron but in reverse. So glad someone else knows about The Beetle.😁
I like where you're going with this. One comment, it would make sense to introduce Kraven as the final person out for the bounty, but it would be great if he becomes rogue and obsessed with the hunt and starts taking out Tombstones hired help and other bounty hunters.
Also replace big wheel with The Trapster. And Forest Whittaker could play Robbie, and possibly Michael Jai White as Tombstone (he's also born in Brooklyn). I want consultant credits from Mr. Feige.
Love this premise, but I'd add scenes of Peter brooding, mourning the people he's lost. Nothing too drawn out. Stuff like him accidentally knocking over Ned's Lego Palpatine, picking it up & contemplating it with a sad sigh.
If you’re going to utilize Betty Brant again, you may as well have her become a potential love interest as well. Maybe it’s a triangle with Jenny similar to the old comics mj/Gwen dynamic.
don't know if anyone's said this but i enjoyed Nando's Ant-Man 3 idea, mostly just for the tile "Ant-Man and the Wasp and Ant-Man"

@@conman10spiderman97 well we should wait until Spider-Man 4 comes out first
The only thing I don’t like is another person close to Peter is the daughter of the villain. I don’t think that should be done again
They have no reason to do that twice.
This time she is also a villain though
I think they were looking for ways to change up the formula a bit. He was also afraid of heights in Homecoming.
@@zengamer21 that’s a nice thought but Far From Home ended with him doing a bit of swinging through the city too. So idk
This pitch is pretty much perfect. Only thing is I would change Jenny form being Tombstone's daughter to someone else because it feels like a recycled idea from homecoming (Liz being Vulture's daughter) but I personally wouldn't mind if she was or wasn't Tombstone's daughter.
Yeah recycled ideas are lazy ideas.
She could be Janice's daughter, which would be villain-adjacent and give her a connection to Mysterio's tech that mom worked on at home.
I was gonna say this exact thing
And goblins son being goblin. Why do we need villain nepotism. Maybe the villain could be someone who's father or mother died because spiderman failed some place. Wait.. Thats also sam raimi.
And it’s a bit similar to Kate Bishop and her mother, which if following Nando’s pitch, links to Hawkeye.
Pretty sure they actually took off the daredevil stuff on the website. At least the stuff that made it seem like the show was cannon
It would be a cool detail to have Peter Parker reestablish his identity through wrinkles in the resettlement programs connected to the Blip.
@@Marb315
Those actually wouldn't get that much of an impact because there's always a big world impending doom, so at this point people must have created some disaster fund in case those happen, but the higher amount of people looking for places would definitely raise the prices because it was something that stabilized over 5 years and then came back all at once.
I think it especially works well with a black suit storyline, if they're planning to introduce that.

and Sydney Sweeney is on absolute fire right now too
I have feeling Sony gonna try to keep hold of Black Cat for there solo films, so this would be a great replacement if Marvel can’t fully get Black Cat.

Exclusivity, maybe?
Are you saying photography isn't a real thing nowadays?
Harry's glider in Spider-Man 3 is such an underrated gem.
But the costume is so meh
I like him in that movie so underrated
Have it until the end of the 2nd and the 3rd is his recovery where he is noticeably weaker and struggles just as things are at their most bleak
Also I did like the home trilogy, but that moniker needs to go, the next subtitles should come from colours, Spider-Man: Blue Moon (maybe his class mates call him that mockingly as he so rarely ever goes out or does anything social), Spider-Man: Black Star (the new suit is making him more and more popular as he becomes more successful at stopping these gang wars) Spider-Man Red Day (no idea how to make that fit but I like the idea that the 1st and 3rd films are his classic colours with the black in the middle)
Things I want this movie to set up:
•Spider-Man and Peter personality struggle
•daredevil side story that could come from this movie (picking up the pieces and fixing Spider-Man issues)
•maybe a connection with Shang Chi probably not this movie but soon
•peter holding onto the connection/stalking Ned and MJ by seeing what they accomplish in MIT and what they invent (setting up Ned as hobgoblin or a wizard character)
•have mister negative also have a connection with the hand and have Peter uncover the crime of New York
•peter still volunteers at the homeless shelter
•End credits, Wilson is back, he's blind but is told about Spiderman stopping Tombstone.
This idea is really cool!
I can’t wait to see your thoughts on what Captain America 4 would be like.
Probably a disney plus show about sam and bucky becoming buddy cops.
@@lewisanderton8062 You know we're getting a Captain America 4, right? After that show?
I feel like Liz Allen should be reintroduced into the film as the Beatles or Vultress. I feel that she's the only woman that Peter can pursue after the heartbreak of MJ. There would be so much drama involved in this relationship and I'd be hyped to see how they would interact
Personally I'd love to see her come back as Firestar like in the Ultimate comics where she could be a fun ally to work with
I'd rather she come back as Black Cat, being that her father was a thief and all even if he was the vulture
The "Liz Allen as the Beatles" part got me lol. Her as the lead of a band of villains.
An Insomniac-style Tombstone would be awesome, and I would like to see more shocker! Criminally underused in Homecoming
But I guess Spiderman 1 -> Spiderman 2 ignored a similar situation.
I LOVE the pitch but I'm somewhat confused on Jenny's intentions. If Jenny serves a love interest to Peter is it because she is manipulating Peter to do what she wants or does she really like Peter?
they just really click since they're both nerds. them finding out they're both Spider-Man and Beetle only makes the relationship more difficult
Also MCU JJJ could have an even larger role in this new movie as possibly Pete's new boss AND the guy funding the scorpion like he has in the comics
there are two other major villains (black cat isn't technically a villain but just go with it lol) that haven't showed up in a live action Spider-Man movie but unfortunately because Sony keeps making their terrible marvel movies Kraven and Chameleon are probably off the table.
(Also… Chameleon wouldn’t be the best to use in this film anyway, as he doesn’t really work in a story where Peter had no identity for him to steal yet)
I COULD also see Screwball in this thing though now, given how much the comics have been pushing her as a bigger villain, and that she really works well for the whole “hidden agenda, face behind the mask” idea Peter would have to face now that he’s lost all sense of identity.
Ayo that's what I was thinking too have Scorpion and black cat in the 4th film! I was also thinking have scorpion work for Kingpin too.
Niice to see you back Nando! Always enjoy your video essays
I liked it but I think a love interest with the plot twist being that she is the daughter of the villain is too much like Homecoming
This peter has a lot to learn still
Perhaps the "Peter's love interest/female friend's father is the head of a crime organization" may be a BIT too similar to the Homecoming plot?
Yeah that’s kinda what I thought. It’s a bit different because in this pitch she’s actively trying to stop her father, but still that idea is very generic and it’s been done to death.
i think tombstone would be much more different than vulture. vulture had what, 15 goons total? he did lowkey heists ans was committed to staying off the radar. setting up tombstone as a kingpin type, who will show up in future movies, would be a smart move.
Their relationship seems a lot different here than it was there. Did Peter and Liz even have that much in common in Homecoming?
I think, an interesting idea would be for this trilogy to focus on the war on crime. And the vacuum that’s been left in that post snap mcu. Like the first movie is tombstone, the second movie is Mr negative and then ending the trilogy with kingpin. It could be like that one episode of spectacular Spiderman where all the villains are fighting each other for power. Except spanned over an entire trilogy.
0:06 well this explains everything
My pitch is that I would have scorpion be hired by kingpin to take down spider-man and have black cat be a foe/ally for spider-man throughout the film against scorpion and kingpin. Then for a post credit scene I would have Spencer Smythe as the villain for the next film who can be the MCU’s version of Doc Ock. (I’m also going to be saving the left over Symbiote to bond with spider-man for secret wars)
my biggest hope is that we get flash and felicia as spider-man’s new allies in the next movie. i think it would be fun bc we’ve already had mary jane’s and gwen love interests so seeing spider-man’s 3rd main love interest written out on the big screen would be nice. i also think it’d be cool utilize flash’s character for once as an ally, i don’t know how to bring him back into play, but i think it’d be nice to have a fresh new group with similar dynamics to ned and mj and having a character who’s already been introduced and only having to introduce one new character would help a lot with familiarity. also tony revolori is a great actor and he’s overdue for a bigger part. my black cat fancast favs are ella balinska and sydney sweeney. ella already is amazing with stunts and almost got the batman catwoman role so it’d be nice to see her get a similar one. sydney sweeney already looks the part, there are some comics where the art looks exactly like her too, i wouldn’t be surprised if she was used as a reference like john krasinski
my problem with beetle is that we already got the daughter of a villain love interest trope with liz, we already have enough characters like that in the mcu (gamora, nebula, echo) where the storyline would feel played out as we have already explored father daughter dynamics like that many times.
she’s also not an iconic character of sorts that i feel needs to be introduced to the mcu at this point. more unknown heroes just aren’t gonna have an impact on audiences (like even ant-man who is a popular character- the amt of ppl that thought antman just had ant powers was astounding) also black cat is a fan favorite for a reason, so i really hope we can see her in a marvel movie (idrk what’s going on with madame web rn)
@ Nando V Movies 10:53 What about the ACTUAL ENFORCERS? You know, Dapper Dan, The cowboy dude and Ox? They’re incredibly old school and would be a great fan shout out!

It would be a great opportunity to bring in Black Cat as Spider-Man's new Love interest and also have scorpion be the main villain while he works for Kingpin
I've been saying for so long that the second trilogy should be called Spectacular Spider-Man! Love this video! 💜
This is the Spider-Man 4 we all deserve. Spectacular pitch 👏 👏👏 Perfect cast of characters and I love that you're going for a more personal and unique Spider-Man movie.
I’ve been desperate for another speculative pitch since “Ant Man and the Wasp and the Amt Man” - give us more, Mr V Movies!
Her aloof nature and her responsibility to her family would cause some internal conflict that ties nicely into the way Tombstone manipulates her
They just need to throw caution to the wind and go straight for Miles Warren’s Jackal and the chaos that entails.
None other than the Owl aka Leland Owsley, one of Matt Murdock’s adversaries who was massively overshadowed later by the Kingpin (a transfer from Spidey himself to DD)…
Worth noting of course, that he’s in the Daredevil series originally on Netflix, Leland Owsley was changed into a much older man played by Bob Gunton, and was merely a crooked businessman who was killed off by Fisk at the end of Season One.
I need Yuri watanabe for the same set up to Wraith as the spider man games, i just have a thing for purple spider-man-like costumes
They should just call it The Spectacular Spider-Man
Or sensational spiderman.
I don’t like watching your videos because I really like how well you describe everything. Thank you, and also dangit
I would love to see you pitch a 5th and 6th MCU Spider-Man movie that continue off of what this one does and sets up.
2 ideas I have (before watching video) 1. spiderman/black cat heist movie, Peter does more not so spiderman things as he falls for black cat (turns against her wants he sees it’s toxic)
Your movie pitches are better than anything a studio would make
These always make so much sense. So well thought out. Ggs sir.
dudeeeee haven't thought about Tombstone since the PS4 GAME!! loving this pitch!
I’m convinced Nando secretly has a creative job at Marvel Studios and makes his marvel related videos as an indirect way “testing the waters”.
I think you should involve Daredevil at the start as well, have Peter vent his frustrations to him and use him as the springboard for the photos idea. Could be fun.
I mean, matt doesn't know who peter is, so it's kinda complicated to put those 2 together again
Maybe have Peter reveal that he's spiderman aswell.
About the swinging scenes, i really love the way Marc Webb did them, the TASM 1 and 2 swinging scenes are def my favorite
Sure. I hear you, but I’d rather this^^^ than a villain we’ve already seen before
nah im totally fine with the idea
Well that is 8 of the spiderman movies
agreed
I’d definitely love to see Mister Negative in a live action. That could really awesome.
I respect that you never go for the obvious choices, Marvel needs more of that these days
Hey Nando, if you see this, I have a question/theory:
For several years, I had really been hoping that the MCU would start dropping in little hints and/or background cameos of who would become their The Sentry. (BTW, I finally found my dream-casting for Sentry: Jimmi Simpson)
Anyhoo, once I saw No Way Home, I realized that Marvel MAY be trying to set-up Peter Parker as a sort of non-union equivalent of Sentry, and possibly give him a "one last time" story at the end of phase 5.
I'm just really curious if you have had that thought too, and what you think of the theory.
Spider-Man: Home Bound
Opening Scene:
Spider-Man stops a crook named Chameleon who is stealing diamonds from a mansion who works for Mr. Negative.
Act 1:
Peter tries to get his life back together. He tries to reunite with friends, he visits Aunt May at the grave, and goes to M.I.T. Peter starts to hang out with his “new” friends, but is not very popular. While the friends hang out, MJ develops a crush on Peter.
Act 2:
Ned’s Grandma believes Jameson and convinces Ned to hate Spider-Man. For the next week, Ned feels suspicious of Peter and hatches a plan to stop Spider-Man. MJ and Flash tell Ned he’s crazy, but he goes to Peter’s house anyway. While snooping around, Ned discovers the truth!
Act 3:
Peter saves MJ and Flash and tell them to evacuate the city from a pumpkin bomb hidden in the sewers. Peter confronts Ned and tries to redeem him, but it doesn’t work. They end up battling each other nearly to the death until Ned commits suicide and the bomb is defused! MJ, Peter, and Flash go to Ned’s funeral.
Post-Credits:
Miles Morales shows up and warns Peter about a multiversal crisis!
Absolutely LOVE the framing!
My head canon for Spidey being involved is similar to how people think of him in the comics. Just: Yeah, I think that weird Spider guy was there too.
After watching Nando discusss the legitimacy of Big Wheel in the MCU for 1:30 minutes straight. I can definitively conclude that he should be the villain of phase 5.
Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends vs the Sinister 6:
Villains - Sinister 6:
Shocker from Homecoming
Darter - Randy from Homecoming
Scorpion - Mac Gargan from Homecoming
Mysterio
Beetle - Janice Lincoln from Far from Home
A New Villain to unite them, like Hobgoblin, Sauron or Stegron
Tinkerer (Homecoming) as tech support
Allies:
Firestar - Angelica Jones, college classmate
Iceman, to hint at the X-men & provide 80's nostalgia of Spiderman & his Amazing Friends; college classmate
17:34 you say he was never hunted by the police, but literally the start of nwh has him being taken by damage control while avoiding a bunch people who knew who he was
4:35 It’s Sony, Ned and MJ will probably show up within the first 30 minutes of the movie.
I gotta say I'm having so much fun just listening to your idea and I'm really hoping something well thought-out like that appears on the big screen
Thanks for telling me about Displate. I got myself the Triss Marigold one from the Witcher 3. Next month it'll be the Scarlet Witch.
Best part about the hat was the hat lines it left on Nando's forehead. Can tell it really left an impression on him
So, I been thinking about the future of Spider-Man in the MCU since NWH and what they should do with the character.
--
I also think Vermin would be a cool villain to see and honestly, wouldn't mind seeing him instead of Overdrive, but maybe they can save him for when they introduce Miles Morales.

I ALWAYS love your pitches. Please do more 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 and more REWRITES. I’d love to see your spider-man 3 (2007) rewrite.
Feige.
…so, Nandor, your pitch is to dress Tony Stark’s corpse in a bunch of different Spider-Man suits?
A reverse homecoming?
Love this premise, but I'd add scenes of Peter brooding, mourning the people he's lost. Nothing too drawn out. Stuff like him accidentally knocking over Ned's Lego Palpatine, picking it up & contemplating it with a sad sigh.
If you’re going to utilize Betty Brant again, you may as well have her become a potential love interest as well. Maybe it’s a triangle with Jenny similar to the old comics mj/Gwen dynamic.
