Tribute to Dr. Kam Yuen - Yuen Method and Gung Fu Teachings Live On
Dr. Kam Yuen, aerospace engineer, chiropractor, author, lecturer, legendary 35th generation Grandmaster of Shaolin Kung-Fu, Tai Mantis Kung-Fu, Tai Chi Chuan and Chi-Kung is the founder of groundbreaking Yuen Method. Dr. Yuen is widely credited with popularizing the martial arts in the Western Hemisphere. As the country's foremost martial arts expert, he was technical advisor to the original TV show Kung Fu, whose main character was modeled after Dr. Yuen. As a grandmaster, Dr. Yuen learned to recognize his opponents' underlying weaknesses. Detecting and deleting underlying weaknesses became the basis for the universally acclaimed Yuen Method, now practiced worldwide.

Dr. Yuen explains his philosophy of change, "There is always more in the universe that we don't know, than what we do know. This work is so exciting, because whenever I empty myself, there's always a new, subtler level of information coming in." Dr. Yuen's constant stream of extraordinary insights has resulted in a series of evolutions and progressions in his system, with each change making the method faster, more comprehensive, easier to learn, and more effective at propelling students to a higher level of consciousness.
In his most recent book, Delete Stress and Pain on the Spot, Dr. Yuen reveals the latest version of the Yuen Method, which is barely recognizable from the one being practiced in 2002. He no longer refers to what he does as "healing." The word healing implies there is time involved, that the person is receiving some kind of cure and, in his case, that something extraordinary is taking place.

Kam Yuen Obituary, Death Cause - Dr. Kam Yuen, passed away recently, and it is with a heavy heart that I share the news of his departure with you.
On June 24, 2023, he went away without any pain or suffering while he was surrounded by the vitality of his loved ones.
Dr. Yuen was a talented physician who made a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals as a result of his unwavering commitment to his life’s work, which was passing on the Yuen Method to his pupils.
He possessed a remarkable talent for connecting with people on a profound level and assisting them in locating serenity and healing in their own life.
Who was Kam Yuen?
Kam Yuen was a Chinese-born American martial arts expert. He served as a consultant and the stunt coordinator for the first season of Kung Fu.
Leung Kam-yuen was the youngest of eight brothers and sisters and was born in Hong Kong. Sifu Chan Chen-yee taught him Seven Star Praying Mantis, while Sifu Chiu Chuk-kai taught him Tai Chi and Mantis.
Later, he moved to the USA with his family, where he resumed his Northern Mantis training with Wong Jack-man, a mentor well known for his fight with Bruce Lee.
He began working at the Lockheed facility near San Jose in 1965 after earning a degree in mechanical engineering. He established the Tai Mantis Association and started his kung fu school.

Thank you, Olivia, for creating and posting this video. I am deeply grateful to have been a student of Dr. Kam Yuen. My Sifu shall forever be in my heart and memories. As a function of studying under him, I was blessed to develop and teach a modality. This morning begins the start of a 20 year anniversary class, and we will be playing your video in honor of Dr. Yuen, because without Dr. Yuen there would have been no Transcending the Matrix.
