I'm fascinated by your videos! I don't do any 3d modeling or printing, although I've been interested in both for years. My husband has an MFA in animation, so I'm familiar with 3d, I just don't do it myself. Still, i find your content is so accessible... your stuff is inspiring! 💝
It sounds like my Trinus 3D Printer. I am really impressed with the build quality of the Taz 6 out of the box and the build size of it...I might have to look into buying one in the future. My Trinus is great for fine detailed small scale items, but I want to print bigger things every now and then and that looks like it might be the machine for me...
I love your videos! You're so creative! in the future, could you do project that incorporates all the benchies(?) you've made from all your machines? It would be cool to see something that utilizes them! 😁
Or maybe it's time to turn the Benchy into a Springo Benchy. You wouldn't be able to to just cut the whole thing into a spiral, since the pillars of the Cabin would need to be their own individual spirals; but that would be an interesting test print.
You can use a thicker nozzle on the standard tool head without any issues. Just mind the speed you are going. Tested it with a 0.8 and a 1.2mm nozzle myself.
Hello Devin, I'm doing a 3D printer project, and I want to ask you how well 3D printers in general print circles. Are the perfect circles? Are the hexagons with a 100 sides? You get the point, and thanks. This is a really great 3D printing channel.
It is pretty cool, that you can print the machine itself, but why? if your 3D printer breaks, how are you supposed to print parts for replacement? (if you don't have 2 printers)
Great review. How has the quality of your first layer been? Have you adjusted anything on this printer? No matter what i do, i cannot seem to get a super smooth looking first layer at all.
I haven't adjusted any settings, but you could offset the Z value somewhere in the printer interface to bring the nozzle closer to the bed. That would squash the layer a bit more, making it smoother... but I like it the way it is
I feel like if I'm gonna buy a printer I should go all in for a taz6 instead of wasting half the cost on a printer I'll want to upgrade after a year. but also should a beginner really be going all in with a taz6?
Can you review the Monoprice Mini? I have it but i have bed adhesion problems. We've tried so many things to try and make it stick but it just won't. Only the first and second print worked but then nothing else.
Nebojša Kamenčić you can find all the same features except for the LCD screen. it's pretty much the exact thing but smaller. it has auto leveling and the wiping
I could use some help. I am looking at buying my first printer but I can't decide between the MP Maker Select or the Anet A8 prusia i3. The MP ready to go but double the price while the i3 is a kit but has a larger build volume.
x9x9x9x9x9 hey I know you from r/cubers! I would go with the mp select just due to ease of use and safety. But if you enjoy tinkering, you might like the challenge of the anet A8. However, It will be an uphill battle getting it to work as well as the mp select.
Hey! You are the second person in 2 days to recognize me from there. Having the same username everywhere kinda stands out. I love building kits so The A8 is looking more and more like the best choice. Thanks for the input though!
wait wait, you can't just change the nozzle if you want to a bigger nozzle with the default extruder? that's insane....and their extruders are kinda expensive. Everything else about this printer looks good though.
How u gonna print a replacement part, the reason you might need the part is because you can't print without it. Stuck up shits creek without a paddle I'll tell ya..
If you have something called planning you can print the parts before something breaks and have a spare set all the time. Best thing is you don't have to stock many spares or order anything. If something breaks you just pop in your printed spare and print another spare to replace the stock. Compare that to a non-3d printed part where you have to find the part number, find a supplier who hopefully has stock, order it, wait for shipping, then install it. Even better thing is that even if no one else is making the part you can still print it. For machined, plastic parts once the supplier stops making it your beyond really stuck up a shits creek without a paddle unless your willing pay to redesign a part and custom machine it or the tooling required to make the missing parts. You could even try to make a replacement 3d printed part but because it wasn't designed for the 3d printed part material properties you might not have enough space as the original part wasn't 3d printed to start with. Even more so if you really wanted to you could send the 3d printed part models to be machined out of metal if you so chose but the benefit will be minimal at best. You have to remember if you do the right engineering you can use almost any material for your specifically engineered application. Weaker materials like 3d printed filament will just have to be larger than the same function titanium part. But the ease of replacement is vastly different from a custom printed or machined titanium part vs a plastic FDM printed part that can be printed on the machine itself.
Make Anything // 3D Printing Channel It really is! I'm sure if you contact Joseph Prusa through Twitter he would totally hook you up. He's a great guy. Maybe you could even get the 4 color print upgrade! Happy Printing, Owen
Owen Buckingham yup that’s what I keep saying. I would take 3 prusa i3 MK3s over this any day any time. Heck I would take a couple CR-10s over this. All I would have to do is put like $30 into modifications and boom it will be printing just as good if not better than a lulzbot. My Tevo Tarantula already outperforms it(and it’s a $200 printer with $100 worth of upgrades).
There are some filaments and machines that will "erase" the lines. I think I saw that on the 3D printing nerd's channel. The machine is $200 and it basically mists isopropyl alcohol to melt the layers together.
Stefan Weber yes, it's normal. The layer lines happen because of the way the printer builds the item one layer at a time. Generally all 3d prints have them, and some are worse than others. It's possible to sand and fill the layer lines to create a more finished looking piece, or you can smooth certain filaments with acetone vapor.
Laynie Fingers i dont mean the normal layer lines. Look at the bottom part of the yellow benchy. It has many ugly lines. Looks like a tiny bit of layer shifting or overextrusion, but it is not. I also got those lines on my prusa i3mk2.
at 8:10 he talks about how the support material comes off easily and then intentionally shows the side of the print that didn't have supports. Thats a really bad look and honestly I don't really trust this review anymore.
u brushed over the fact that the freaking extruder only handles a few different filament types, which forces some people to spend 100s if extra dollars just on dang tool heads...I do not like this printer.
Matthew Guiher just edit that part out and if you listen he says the skull is a springo ( I was informing not hating ) just tap/click the 3 gray dots to edit
Might have been a good review but frankly, I got tired of hearing the music. Not really interested in your choice of music, on the facts about the LulzBot. Ended the reveiw after 70 or so seconds.
Why does the printer sound like a ship shooting its lasers in Star Trek?
Steppers being driven really hard. Happens more or less to every printer, some just happens to hide it better.
Leda Theotokoglou I know werd
Leda Theotokoglou I am a Star Wars fan so I hate star trek sorry
+darth maul l like both but I to like star wars better
Oh my goodness it does!
I understand that this is an unrelated topic, but can you make a Series to explain cura's settings? Especially supports would be great.
Thanks for the suggestion, perhaps I can do it all in one video :0
Out of all the 3d printer review chanells your my fav

Thats the most bootiful sound ever!
Wow $2,500 USD...I can't afford that in CAD. That is expensive!
hi ur channel is amazing I love it so much pls just keep doing what ur doing and u will make me the happiest girl on RUclips! :)
Can you do a workstation tour? I’d love to see your set up for everything (printers and filament storage etc)
+Lisa Tipman I was just thinking about that yesterday :)
I love your videos! You're so creative! in the future, could you do project that incorporates all the benchies(?) you've made from all your machines? It would be cool to see something that utilizes them! 😁
Interesting idea, I'll think about it!
Or maybe it's time to turn the Benchy into a Springo Benchy. You wouldn't be able to to just cut the whole thing into a spiral, since the pillars of the Cabin would need to be their own individual spirals; but that would be an interesting test print.
Make Anything // 3D Printing Channel make a figet spiner
I think it could be springofied with a tiny bit of modification... I wanna do this!
I would love to see a video on the "hairy" 3d prints! Maybe you could design some of your own!
Devin, make a PiCamera mounted on each of your printer's build plate to get nice time lapses!!
You can use a thicker nozzle on the standard tool head without any issues. Just mind the speed you are going. Tested it with a 0.8 and a 1.2mm nozzle myself.
And why does it cost 2,500
Cuz quality...
You deserve more likes and views you are very creative and have a wild imagination PS could you please do a video incorporating all your benchis
I’m definitely printing the circle illusion
I thought this was going to be a $500 printer...
HAHAHAHAHA
i luv the lulzbot fillament color
Hello Devin, I'm doing a 3D printer project, and I want to ask you how well 3D printers in general print circles. Are the perfect circles? Are the hexagons with a 100 sides? You get the point, and thanks. This is a really great 3D printing channel.
they kind of are hundred sided hexagons stock, however a basic cura plugin called arc welding can fix that
"haven't been compensated" dude they gave you a 2.5k$ printer lol
Thanks for this insightful review !!
you printed a slingo for ONE HUNDRED AND TEN HOURS? You really like these things!
no regrets!!!
It is pretty cool, that you can print the machine itself, but why? if your 3D printer breaks, how are you supposed to print parts for replacement? (if you don't have 2 printers)
I work in a lab where we have 3 of these bad boys and all three running at once in a small space sounds like chaos. But yeah they are very nice.
I kind of like when printers sing like that haha
I was like:
"I WANNA BUY THIS TH... oh... 2500$... k..."
Your content is just amazing👍🏻
Great review. How has the quality of your first layer been? Have you adjusted anything on this printer? No matter what i do, i cannot seem to get a super smooth looking first layer at all.

why didnt you go to maker faire?
first first layer I use bluetape and 90 deg alcool. it's almost stick too much
Hi I'm new to 3D printing and I just want to ask if u're printing nylon with this machine, u need to change the extruder, right?
love your vids
Can you review the Monoprice Mini? I have it but i have bed adhesion problems. We've tried so many things to try and make it stick but it just won't. Only the first and second print worked but then nothing else.
Thak you !!!
Man, I want this printer.
Nebojša Kamenčić you can get a tiny version of it called the lulzbot mini for almost half price
TheRealCoronado _ I have an Anet A8 already but I fell in love with leveling system on this one. And wiping a nozzle and Z stop button...
Nebojša Kamenčić you can find all the same features except for the LCD screen. it's pretty much the exact thing but smaller. it has auto leveling and the wiping
I may buy this in the future. like when I have money.
The Eye Of Widen a lot of money
could you review the mooz 3d printer? seems a bit too good to be true
3D Printed parts for 2500$ get Ultimaker 3 for that!
I could use some help. I am looking at buying my first printer but I can't decide between the MP Maker Select or the Anet A8 prusia i3. The MP ready to go but double the price while the i3 is a kit but has a larger build volume.

helo make anything in the future, can you make a review on any 3d program pls. it would be awesome
What do you think about the Mini 2 for a first printer?
When I watched this I said "lul"
• William • in the dutch language lul means dick( the more you know)
Can u do a review of the OLO printer
Can you please make a mini basketball and mini basketball goal please
Yeah but the extruder add ons are more expensive than my silent ender 3 pro
You should do a bloopers video :D
RUclips isn't posting your videos in the feed of some of your subs:/// I've seen the last 3 or 4 thanks to "recommended" :c
damn this thing is 2k?
2.5k
unfortunately :C but at least you're getting a great printer!
just get the i3 mk2 or mk3
@@faelanman901 Agreed, better quality for less. However, I think the Luzbot has a bigger build area
I have the Taz 5 and mine does not do that, self level. Also I did not get one for free. *jealous*
Wish it wasn't built with 3D printed parts. For the price, it ought to have a tad better build quality. I'd prefer milled parts, myself
Make Anything 60 secs into the video: "....so take a look and see if it is a good printer for you."
me: *looks up price on Google* "Nope."
The end.
hey i love ur channel
z-banding is so bad. I would like to go either with Prusa MK2s or ultimkaer. Not anywhere between like taz6
Can u do a 3d pen review on Mohoo 3rd generation
wait wait, you can't just change the nozzle if you want to a bigger nozzle with the default extruder? that's insane....and their extruders are kinda expensive. Everything else about this printer looks good though.
You should make quadruple pendulum
How does it handle flexible filament?
I have the dual and flexi dual extruder
do a review on the 101hero! (cheapest printer)
Can you make a review of anicubic predator??😊😊💪👍
how many 3D printers do you have?
12!... I think haha
Make Anything // 3D Printing Channel that is a lot! 😂
can u use other slicers or just the lulzbot version of cura?
+MadBashify yes, you can.. I'll probably start using simplify3D for it soon
For $2500 you could get 3 prusa i3 mk3s or 1 ultimaker which are miles better
Or a decent car
How much does it cost
7:22 I love that sound. Too bad I'm $2,100 short of being able to buy it T_T.

I really want a 3d printer, but it all seems so expensive. The machines are horrendously expensive, and the filament needs constantly replacing. grrr
When will there come a new video on the Anet a8???
This it the first printer I ever was and in turn introduced me to 3dprinting, then immediately bailed after seeing it's price.
Reignand Bongao you can get a smaller version of this printer with the same features at almost half price called the lulzbot mini
Yep it was also in the convention I was in, still too expensive. So I grumbled and bought a Flashforge Creator pro.
This is my favorite thing I've ever gotten
But what printer printed the parts to go on the Taz 6?
a different Taz 6 :P
but what printer printed the parts for the taz 6 that made the parts for the taz 6????owo
I wish I can have that 3d printer
Prusa i3 Mk.2 is still the best printer for the money, does everything a Lulz Bot can do for cheaper. Nice review tho!
Hopefully I'll get to give the Mk2 a go one of these days, I've heard it's pretty amazing
Make Anything // 3D Printing Channel It really is! I'm sure if you contact Joseph Prusa through Twitter he would totally hook you up. He's a great guy. Maybe you could even get the 4 color print upgrade!

2k and that loud with 3d printed parts! WTF
Here's some audience interaction buddy...
Hey! Can you make a tevo tarantula review please?
+jason nikakis working on it!
Oh thanks!
Is it possible to prevent these layer lines? How? 🤔
There are some filaments and machines that will "erase" the lines. I think I saw that on the 3D printing nerd's channel. The machine is $200 and it basically mists isopropyl alcohol to melt the layers together.

Stefan Weber Ahhh, that wasn't clear in your original comments. I can't help you there, I don't know more than the basics.
Hi, I'm new to 3d printing and I need a cheap printer that prints well, has a large build volume, and a cooling fan, for around 290$
King Virus Check some prusia kit on web
King Virus I have a Sintron Prussia i3 Kit, it's about £210 and the print volume is 200x200x200 mm
That 'strudel in massive. At least it looks like it.
3 years with out a new comment in this video
it was 13 pieces not 12
at 8:10 he talks about how the support material comes off easily and then intentionally shows the side of the print that didn't have supports. Thats a really bad look and honestly I don't really trust this review anymore.
Which size that nozzle is?
0.5mm
At which layer height? Sorry
u brushed over the fact that the freaking extruder only handles a few different filament types, which forces some people to spend 100s if extra dollars just on dang tool heads...I do not like this printer.
To clarify, the skull is a spring, so those aren't layer lines. But yes, it's a pretty expensive machine
Make Anything oh ok sorry I got very fired up.
Matthew Guiher just edit that part out and if you listen he says the skull is a springo ( I was informing not hating ) just tap/click the 3 gray dots to edit
Rileigh Keller thx and sorry I got carried away, but my thoughts on this printer are still the same...I rly rly can’t stand this printer..
My school has one of those
Did anyone else see the luzbot ad at the start of the vid like if you did
You should make a fidget spinner
fidget 3d sprinter
I am the 100 comment!😃
Might have been a good review but frankly, I got tired of hearing the music. Not really interested in your choice of music, on the facts about the LulzBot. Ended the reveiw after 70 or so seconds.
Your light bill must be crazy high
cool
Dude can you like help other people design or make designs for other people!
Hello
