I have a theory; Apostle means follower of something religious right? So, here's what I propose. There was once a cult or religious group among the Scav factions. In that group was a group of the radicalized and more satanic sect who believed in the opposite of the religion. Due to this they were cast out and were left to fend for themselves. These certain individuals' part of the satanic sub-section would kidnap members of the original group and perform operations on them involving transmutation, things involving blood, grafting, and other dark experiments. One of these experiments would involve transmuting people into demons such as the Sickler, who if you noticed is wrapped up in chains. Other similar experiments were also performed, resulting in the other demons such as the skinner and ghosts. The hanger was also among these experiments and would explain why the Hanger calls you a "traitor" and a "Heretic" I believe that the same satanic sect eventually defected to the agency that the other perks come from. this would explain the Sovereign class who essentially turns people into pseudo-hangers/ghosts by using daggers and their own blood (non-fully charged F), and the Apostle class who summons demons and feeds off the blood of other Scavs to heal.

just leaving it here so people will get a chance of obtaining it. there are three ways you can kill sickler easy. 1. get the pyro/berserker perk, take the stims (purple and blue) and equip the executioner (le big sword). before you take a swing use your ability. you should be able to 2-3 shot him considering executioner deals around 100 damage on heavy hits. (the medic perk that name i forgor is optional) 2. equip the executioner perk, kill people until you have around 60 kills and then go 2 shot the sickler. i recomend using the aristrans hook (billhook in bp) because of it stun and range. its really helpful on first waves. 3. get him stuck on obstacle. this one is the most annoying because you dont have 100% certanity of him getting stuck there, but if he does you can basically bully him

During the help menu which you can access through the menu, you can find the hidden gamemode which will explain the making of the hidden and what it does, also explaining that the hidden was an experiment by Ulacyon.

Apostle used to be one of the rekigons supporting/killing humans. (this is my opinion) When the apostle saw the amount of suffering to the agents being killed by rekigons, commiting sucide and lost agents echo playbacks he had enough he became a human. Well half human. He had still had his ability also known to summon rekigons. Friendly ones. He joined the 4th agent group after the 1st, 2nd and 3rd group died/joined the scavs. Thats the reason why the hanger says "YOU ARE A TRAITOR" when encountering a apostle.

when you reach level 100 and have 50000 odens you can pledge which is basically a rebirth that resets your levels and oden and nothing else in exchange for a special currency and when you pledge you get 100 of it and unlock the quartermaster shop which is where you can buy special items
In my headcanon, Apostle is a kind yet smart agent that manages to kill the sickler. At first when that agent encounters a sickler, it starts crying, maybe because it keeps suffering non-stop and wanted to stay away from everyone, but the hatred and bloodlust keeps him from sparing. The agent doesn’t know that, but knows he’s in pure agony. Because he has to fight, he knows what he must do: to kill him, and give him peace to free the agonising soul, he managed to kill the sickler and give him peace, but the demons saw him as foolish, they tried to possess him to become another, but instead the turns have tabled. Because of his strong will, he managed to fight his inner demons and became the Apostle. When the apostle encounters the Hanger, it became mad because it thinks the Apostle freed the soul of the damned, and because it was deluded, it thinks he’s a traitor, and starts saying harsh words, yet the Apostle ignores it and kills it anyway. (This is just my headcanon, it’s not real in the lore.)

Apostle used to be one of the rekigons supporting/killing humans. (this is my opinion) When the apostle saw the amount of suffering to the agents being killed by rekigons, commiting sucide and lost agents echo playbacks he had enough he became a human. Well half human. He had still had his ability also known to summon rekigons. Friendly ones. He joined the 4th agent group after the 1st, 2nd and 3rd group died/joined the scavs. Thats the reason why the hanger says "YOU ARE A TRAITOR" when encountering a apostle.
Is Decaying Winter an original game or does the game actually have an inspiration it took from? I mean ik it has some from Tarkov especially the Scav War logo but what about the demons?
I think they got the voicelines and sounds from other games but I think its made originally.

@@cyanthewater8991 there is a game that was once pretty good. It was called the culling. Some of the mechanics in decaying winter are similar to the ones used in the culling.

everyone knows that if you use the apostle, the hanger interacts with him differently that's why the reikgons wanted him to be evil just like them but the apostle is considered the traitor to the reikgons

wasnt apostle a perk "consumed by void"? so that means the user was actually one of the skinners, most likely skinner/hanger, and hangers want them back. also ive noticed the demons become humans once they die (apostle demons) so my theory is that the apostle just summons fragments/clones of themselves replicating how they fought when they were once a void hostile

This video has turned me into a apostle main, dude i usually play last strandeds game mode cause the original got boring and the reikgon wave is just hanger spam and it got so annoying that i quit at one point.

use the riskrunner perk and mow it down

Or use drifter perk and throwing knives, throw all 3 knives at sickler, then use drifter's blade, light melee sickler thrice, then heavy melee sickler. That's how I got apostle

The hanger is basically saying that because the reikgon that apostle can summon decided to help you instead of try and kill you and made you immune to the hanger so the hanger is mad and screaming at the reikgon thats helping you

In my headcanon, Apostle is a kind yet smart agent that manages to kill the sickler.
At first when that agent encounters a sickler, it starts crying, maybe because it keeps suffering non-stop and wanted to stay away from everyone, but the hatred and bloodlust keeps him from sparing. The agent doesn’t know that, but knows he’s in pure agony. Because he has to fight, he knows what he must do: to kill him, and give him peace to free the agonising soul, he managed to kill the sickler and give him peace, but the demons saw him as foolish, they tried to possess him to become another, but instead the turns have tabled. Because of his strong will, he managed to fight his inner demons and became the Apostle. When the apostle encounters the Hanger, it became mad because it thinks the Apostle freed the soul of the damned, and because it was deluded, it thinks he’s a traitor, and starts saying harsh words, yet the Apostle ignores it and kills it anyway.
(This is just my headcanon, it’s not real in the lore.)
