You forgot On Top Of the World....Clearwater Florida....condos....about $325.00 a month HOA fee......I lived there 9 and 18 hole golf course...tennis courts, 2 pools, 2 club houses....library, deli, beautiful place to live..
Are there any 55+ communities where you can find houses or townhouses with 3,500 square ft. or more which are reasonably priced? I have only seen small homes in 55+ communities being advertised.
The current villages numbers on property taxes, CDD bonds & other assessments including but not limited to yearly bond fees, villages maintenance fees ect ect for a $400K home are $7000plus yearly and climbing. Great video on communities, but the villages realistic monthly cost are double + in some cases.
You get what you pay for though……The Villages has 40+ executive golf courses, and 18 Championship courses. Nightly entertainment, and pools in every community, plus there are recreation centers with lap pools. This is way more amenities than any of the other communities he mentioned. Some us are gladly paying more for the added quality of life.

Yes, and if you're smart you won't buy into these LEASED LAND homes. You need to look for RESIDENT OWNED 55+ Communities. Haines City, FL has a park called Westview Ridge that is RESIDENT OWNED. Davenport has one called Center Crest Mobile Home & RV Park. BOTH of these parks have yearly HOA fees of LESS than $1000.00 PER YEAR. Don't purchase a home in a LEASED LAND Community.....it's a rip off.

We live in the Villages..We live all the gold course....80 pools golf cart ...to get around ...hundreds of clubs...fun fun...love it ..Check it out...
