Also kind of upset knights and paladins show their faces in warcraft 3. Their eyes glowing from inside their helmet; their face hidden by it and their booming voice made them so terrifying, commanding and powerful!

In WC2 catapults are for dealing with towers and ships, in WC1 they are for dealing with massed archers and casters. So you think you've got the game, pack 8 archers so you can kill anything before it gets to you and then have half of them killed from a distance. Next time you use knights to spy ahead and deal with the bastards. Next level you can start mass summoning for fun.
I suppose you can. I built a bit more than the necessary minimum. The catapults are a nasty surprise the first time you encounter them and that's was my point.

I'd consider the Night Elf Archer to be the WarCraft III version of the Elven Archer since they're actually in the roster. (You could have just shown both there honestly) There is also a Necrolyte unit in WarCraft 3 as well, it's in the Sunken Ruins tileset iirc. Overall great video!

Which features will and won't be included particularly I remember being able to change the size scale attributes and color of units in the advanced customization and would love to know if these features are included into Reforged. I remember having alot of fun with the map editor and would love to see the same freedoms in Reforged .
Honestly, at the moment I hardly see a difference between Classic and Reforged editor. They mentioned that there will be some new features added, like possibility to allow selection of more than 12 units at once in custom maps, but we do not really have solid info on these.
@@ArcanePower I would personally like to be able to create abilities that do two or more different things at the same time without actually going into trigger territory. Like making an Aura that does both what Unholy Aura does but also adding a -dmg effect into enemies similar to Howl of Terror. Or a Shockwave that damage enemies and heals allies. Or have a mass Raise Skeleton. That sort of thing.
@@ismaelsantos5378 I'm trying Reforged Editor right now, and so far I haven't seen a lot of changes to the core system. Object Editor is still largely the same, so a lot of custom abilities may still need to dip into Triggers, which is kind of a bummer. Buffs are still Art and Sound holders tied to an actual ability holding the data. Most abilities are still based off their original templates (i.e. you can't mix and match all Aura effects into a single ability). Granted, this is still Beta, but I can't really expect the actual release to be vastly different.
