    I gamed for 2 years on 55OLED706.
I couldnt have made a better choice at that time. It was the cheapest OLED TV with 120Hz support.
Recently I switched to a QD-OLED because the colours are much brighter.
And my old Philps GamingTV has a new place in sleepingroom with new purpose to enjoy movies and series on.

2 years later...This TV series 706/707 still are the best gaming OLED TV in the price tag, in my opinion.New OLED series from Philips is downgraded in some points, 718 has NO subwoofer, and has the same old OLED technology(no exOLED), which is little strange for me.But the combination of Philps premium technology and looking + LG OLED matrix is amazing, still in these days.

I have this TV for 6 months now and it is great, BUT:
    - this TV can't do 120 hz and HDR at the same time in gaming - you either need to select HDR 60 hz or 120 hz non-HDR - this is not perfect. You might say that majority of games doesn't run on 60 FPS+ but still...
    - menus are clunky and it's hard to find stuff there
    - remote is, well, just a remote - nothing special
Other than that - GREAT TV!

I have tested Black Ops cold war with VRR, but I havent noticed any difference, the game was already running great on PS5 without VRR.
Disadvantage of VRR is that it disables BFI.
Black Frame Insertion is in my opinion more usefull for shooters because it helps allot with Motion Blur, and if the game was already running smootly then VRR is totaly useless.

Depends on your demographic. Phillips models aren't carried in every country where as LG mostly is. If you're looking at Apples to Apples the only thing that beats the C1 is the C2 or B series. But all the next-generation LG models are also more expensive where's you can grab a 48"C1 under $800us with the 55" going for under $1100us. That said with a extended warranty the best price or most budget friendly if that matters will win the day.

      I gamed for 2 years on 55OLED706.
I couldnt have made a better choice at that time. It was the cheapest OLED TV with 120Hz support.
But recently I switched to a QD-OLED Samsung S95B because the colours are much brighter. The difference is really huge, and S95B is not expensive anymore.
If you really only want a Philips TV, my advice is to go with OLED908, it has the latest MLA technology, but its really expensive, you can better wait a year or go for S95B.

ps5 can not handle VRR, because the ps5 is too weak(only 6tflops of power), whearas the XBOX SERIES X is a BEAST, boasting an incredible 13tflops of POWER, enabling VRR with ease. Sell the ps5 and use the money to buy great looking games for your XBOX SERIES X - games of which the ps5 could only DREAM of being powerful enough to run and look as good as on XBOX.

Make sure your on the correct HDMI channel for the PS5,
      go to general settings
      HDMI ultra HD
the one that your ps5 is in should be highlighted
select it and set to optimal.
now go to your ps5 and open a game like spider man or something that supports VRR
go into ps settings and you can now toggle VRR on and off.
