Finally something people can relate too. Good time to wake up ,drive and teach beginners some of the business. It's been hibernating under ten million different crowd funding services; Is almost like a stock option.
(if it works) Compared to credit or loan. Im still believing your closing ideas, for business solutions are where things pay out, to be employed ,paying taxes. Anyways there's many whom read job ads everyday for years. Once in a while there's one that's legit. But impossible to negotiate because of the stress Of high expectations, low wages. Or even where it takes you.
I'm just commenting, because It's a decent stretch of imagination. How to make crowd funding work , actually using the idea but more direct depending on how hard you work. People do it for gaming or streaming, To help. I'd rather find a different way around C.F. is what your saying. Which is exactly the usual. But some believe in it, And it does ok.

So I have this idea that I deeply believe in, so much so that I’m going to college and trying to get as much formal education as I can to benefit myself. It’s not a tangible product that can be sold or advertised. It’s a joint trampoline park/rock climbing gym. The price to entry is so high and I just am having the worst time trying to figure out how to get past that entry price.

You're not alone. Sometimes your family and friends are the least supportive. Press on anyways and seek the opinion of those who have nothing to gain or lose by telling you what they see as the truth.
As Sifu Dan says, people talk with their wallets so by getting sales, contracts, investors, you demonstrate that your ideas aren't bs. Until your idea gets financial backing whether through sales or investors, it's not a business, it's an idea you're working on. That's what I gathered by Dan's later comments in this video as well as other videos he has made.
