I didn’t have parents to teach me about money. All I ever wanted once I became a parent not have to worry about feeding them.
That's good..but make sure you start teaching your kids all theyshould know about money early enough it's the best gift you can give to them.

I have lived in the U S all my life and have watched many pro athletes get interviewed over many, many years during the sports information summary that is part of the daily local tv news. Nine out of ten athletes say "Now that I have finally been accepted an official new player for this professional sports team, the first thing I want to do after receiving my first six figure paycheck is to buy my impoverished mother a big, fancy house and tell her she never has to work another day in her life."

I grew up poor and when I moved across the Country around 10 years ago I lost my job and had nothing, couldn’t even afford toilet paper. Ever since then I promised myself that I would never let that happen again. That I will do whatever I need to survive comfortably! Now I want money for me and so I can help my family!

Honestly, money is just for responsible measure. It feels good knowing that I have money and that I’m being responsible with it at the same time. I’m happy to know that I’m healthy and I eat clean. It’s a pride that I hold close to and while I watch and learn how my friends are out there spending their money every time they get their paycheck, it’s nice to know that I’m holding myself back from that emotion or “high” because I’m not so dependent on validation.
