I appreciate that matey .. it can be hard work sometimes that’s for sure! It makes it all that more worth it that you enjoy the vids bud! Thanks again for watching!
Very enjoyable to watch as usual. Had a few bass out at the Fara beacon at St Caths. The bixby is great mate. So is that tackle pod and it’s position. Great set up you really have there Sam. Liked the slow mo of the one that got away. Bream on the seeker too. Nice session out that. Great to see.
It’s a nice reef out there I was surprised I didn’t have more fish there to be honest bud maybe next time ay. yeah the bixpy saves me so much time to get between marks. I don’t like being out longer than 3hrs unless it’s a seymour session over the low.
Good upload, I’ve had big staddle bream on seekers 23g in Spain,I think most bream will hit them in right conditions, lure fishing for Dorada/ Giltheads is really taking off over there I reckon your see that getting big in uk soon, tightlines look forward to your next uploads mate 😎🐟
Thanks for watching buddy ! yes your spot on there matey a few mates have already tried the lures where I usually catch them ledgering baits but no luck yet.. I reckon it’s a matter of time though!
@@FISHISLANDTV I watch all your uploads there well made mate, The duel lg shad is good for giltheads ,duel has afew lures they use for them in Spain, the top guy on the lures for giltheads is Raul marti that’s on RUclips if you put translate on it you can work it out, lol yes I,ll stick to bait for breams ,I’ve no more room for new species lure collections 😂 the savage gear gravity minnow in the smaller sizes is about the best giltheads /all bream types I use them for bass when there on the smalls ,it gets a lot of bream by catch, tightlines look forward to your next upload 😎🐟
Sorry to hear that bud hopefully you can get out soon and smash some fish… just think to yourself whilst your unable to get out the fish are fattening up before you catch them lol best of luck buddy for when you next head out! Thanks for watching!
Tell me about it matey… I guess it’s the down side of using de barbed trebles.. I might not bother squashing them down anymore … that’s when il get a bloody hook in me though lol! Thanks for watching !
Beauty, Sam! Loves a Sunday breakfast out on the kayak with you! 😁 Great job hunting out the bites, wounder that 4lber slipped the hook! Found a deepish graze in my newly bought, second hand kayak. It's nowhere near terminal, but I'm gonna add a wee bit of new material with a heat gun, then seal it over with a kydex keel guard. Cannot wait to get out on the water, but will be just patrolling the estuaries till I find my feet! Is that a Hook2 x4gps you're running? Buzzing if you are, 'cus that what I got with my kayak, and, if it's good enough for you, I'm damned sure it'll work perfect for me. Tight lines brother.
Hi matey I’m glad you enjoy the Sunday uploads! I will try get a few more videos done asap. ahhhh slice in the kayak .. try JB weld matey trust me! cheap and cheerful and it works a beauty.. I cover over the hill of mine with it in scratched areas it’s brilliant stuff.. will do a video asap of me putting a fresh coat on it…yes hook2 x4 nice and simple matey!
@@FISHISLANDTV JB Weld? Sweet, I can book that out at work, just like the tube of Sikaflex EBT+ I booked out, for a job of course, defo NOT for the kayak!!! 🤫😁 Would love some kayak maintenance and set up vids from you, but appreciate everything we get already! 👍
yes give the JB weld a coating on the outside matey but go well over the edges too and youl find there’s no more big crack scratch or split in it .. I use it to protect the hill for when I’m landing the kayak etc etc
I am contemplating using them in further to be honest. I do think though that mathematically you have a higher chance of a hook up on hard lures with trebles. The downside to the trebles is that I de-barb my hooks so it’s safer for me on the Kayak. Thanks for watching!
Next weekend is looking good and bigger tides. 👏👏👍👍🎣🎣
You got that right! Although bigger tides on the Kayak can be a little tricky bud depending on the area you’d be paddling.
I really enjoy your videos, well put together, very informative and you show the thought and graft it takes to produce fish. Keep them coming.

Well done. Great fish. 👍🐟🐟
Thanks buddy 😎
Great video mate, was recently kayaking around there the other week as the swell everywhere else was to choppy. We had mackerel bass and pollack.
Nice one bud that’s great stuff. it fishes much better from the big tide throughout the dropping tide which is great.

What sort of motor is on your canoe
Hi buddy it’s called a bixpy motor :)
Single hooks 🪝 never miss 😬
