sand is very tricky,even I don't know what color sand is supposed to be XD there's so many different colors of sand,including in games,I think sand is supposed to be I guess beige or tan which are brown....but the one you found in one of the games I think could've counted as yellow since the sunlight was making it a yellow color plus I wasn't sure if you should've counted tails or not,but since newer games seem to be changing his orange fur to a more yellow,I can let it slide,plus I love tails so I can double let that slide
