I revere deer :) My grandfather used to take me to go “deer watching” as I coined it when i was in my pre teens. I always was fascinated by their beauty seeing them feeding in the evening. We would watch them until they disappeared into the woods mysteriously. Love them forever,they are my spirit animal. The story of Actaeon has always been cruel to me.
Slight correction on the Gold horn/ Golden horn, he was not a Deer but an Alpine Ibex, but other than that, thank you for this short retelling of our legend.
I have two strong early memories of "Folklore" deers. Princess Mononoke ( the God of the forest). The mists of Avalon (tv show). As I grew up and my interest on folklore and legends grew I've found more deers making appearances. I've found the imagery of the chinese Quilin/Kirin very interesting, as it is such a peaceful animal.
I grew up in an area that has full of deer. I remember when I was little that I rolled up my mothers car window cause I was scared of seeing one up so close. But overtime I come to respect and love them, you forgot one Deer of legend Bambi.
I've seen foxes, and dogs both mentioned in other comments, and I was thinking wolves. So why not combine them, and do a video about canines in mythology?

Can you do Mythology of horses, elephants, monkeys, spiders, bats, owls, bears, lions, and bovines.
