Hey everyone we wanted to apologize for any audio issues you may find, we ran into A LOT of technical difficulties during editing! Thank you for watching, and for your support!!
A friend of mine had the trees at the back of his garden cut down. The crows were really p1553d off about it. They've started deliberately popping on his white BMW M4. Against his windows and patio doors. And picking up and dropping random rubbish into his garden. He was telling me about it when I went round there. I was sitting by the patio doors, and I looked outside and there was two dozen of them sitting on top of his shed glaring in. I found it hysterical, he was freaked out by it. The same group (I assume), I see in the park. I usually take bread, out of date cereal, fruit for them. There'll be a couple of them, they'll see me coming and disappear. And a few minutes later come back with the rest of them ready for a feast. They are great birds
@StoffelDilligas I'd suggest telling him to set up bird houses and a large variety of stuff to appease the flock. I think it's mostly perches and shelter that they miss, but then again, I'm living in an area where there's no clows or ravens.
They are my favorite, hands down. I love that they are capable of facial recognition ! They are in the jay family alongside blue jays and magpies ....they are also capable of mimicking human speech. Stunning creatures
I would love to see an episode dedicated to the First Nation Raven stories! I grew up hearing little tales of him (being northern Canadian). I would love to hear them fleshed out more 😊
I would love to see a video (or more than one!) about Trickster North American Ravens. I very much like crows and ravens and appreciate stories and myths about them. I'd also like any videos about other mythic tricksters. Tricksters are fascinating!
thank you for this beautiful piece. I am a medicine woman and feel deeply connected to my sister Crow. I have recently been gifted a dead crow to work with, and I have felt a connection to the crow since beginning my shamanic path. I loved the information you provided on the aboriginal connection of the crow and the Pleiades. The Pleiades bring the next evolutionary step in consciousness for humanity.
That's Beautiful. ❤ I'm Native American, I wonder why Crows follow me everywhere. I adhere to a lot of Spirituality. Really intriguing that is for sure.
A raven more powerful than a dragon 🐲🙀 and that is news to me! As was a lot of information given in the video. I didn't know Apollo was associated with those birds, or that a raven had a big role in Slavic mythology. Ah, yes! Odin and his ravens, so nice to see that part as well. Thank you for another wonderful video!
They are magnificent birds. I have watched these crows in particular they really are so close to us. People do not understand the raven and crow especially because they are black. The underworld is calling with these birds, letting us follow them into darkness and then bring into the light. They are very smart and should be respected, they speak to us if we would listen. Speak to them when you see them and they will speak back! Blessings and light🌹❤️
And the Raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting. On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door. And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon’s that is dreaming. And the lamp-light o’er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor. And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor. Shall be lifted... nevermore ! ~Edgar Allan Poe~
Thank you for the information on ravens and crows throughout other cultures mythologies. As an Irish Pagan myself you did a good job with my culture 🥃 Sláinte 🇮🇪⚔️
I'm currently studying alot of Gaulish History and Mythology, (Which is scarce to say the least... so thank you for that Mr. Caesar), and to me the most facinating Gaulish Deity is Cathubodua, ''Battle Crow''. Who? Exactly, the fact we know so little about her is what fascinates me, but she seems to be the gaulish equivalent to Badb or The Morrigan.
That’s very interesting. I always thought that Odin’s Valkyries and the Morrigan were representations of crows and ravens scavenging the dead on the battlefield. And that’s why they choose who lives and dies in battle. I’ve never heard of Cathubodua before. But “Battle Crow” seems to be in line with the others. Do you have any recommendations on where I can learn about her?
I’m glad you added the addition of the Morrigan and her association with the crows and the ravens. It would be really nice if you added her to your video list one day.
I love Crows and Ravens. They are my favorite animal and just the beautiful black feathers and everywhere I go I see them or they in front of me . I know the universe is giving me signs the reason I see them all the time
Admittedly, the movie and original comic book made up a lot of lore surrounding crows, in addition to taking influence from various Northern European and Native American traditions!
The Crow by James O'Barr (which was adapted into the film starring the late Brandon Lee) was written as a means for the said author to express and cope with his grief following the violent death of his girlfriend. However, I was also told that the legend of the Crow being a spirit guide for souls to come back to make the wrong things right was also based off of Native American legend.
Last year. We had a lot of crows on our road. What a nose they make. Mornings and evenings. They learned not to land on my roof to much. 😂. Yes. Amazing birds though. My uncle had one. Nice introduction to the myths of this bird. 👽👍
I must have some Norse and Native American blood as my favorite animals are Ravens, crows, Wolves, and Stags. I am also drawn to Pagan ideas, beliefs, as well as primal Neo-Pagan music and garb.
there must be a myth that in spain the king had made a tower especially for the crows out of gratitude...but the next king or something demolished it and made a house (castle) out of it. since then the birds are no longer there and have sought happiness elsewhere...my coat of arms is a crow with a white feather....does anyone know the meaning of that?
Now we talking... there is also something mystical about women with wel cared for raven black hair... Cant explain... 😅 Almost would want 2 of those and call them lust and love 😂
My Grandma has a weird way of calling my name people made fun of it worse Ravens started yelling that name out people said I was crazy and started calling me Crazy Ed but I know it was those Ravens especially now that I know they can actually talk
I'm a Lithuanian/American who is interested in the paganism that still exists in Lithuania despite Christian influence. I also wonder about the Lithuanian language so similar to Sanskrit.

Wonder what one would say for a huge flock landing in your drive watching your front door. Once opened they spread their wings and prance around? Not afraid. Just dancing. ???

Playing blackbird nice.
Thank you for uploading this video.
I think I speak for all of us when I say please do a full episodes about raven
Yeah, I would watch it❤️🩹please and Thank you!
*Does an extensive episode about the Baltimore Ravens*
💯🖤💀
Nevermore?
One will watch you as you sleep tonight
Main thing I know is it's better to befriend crows and ravens then to anger them.
They watch over my chickens because I feed them. Chase off hawks and cats

They have long memories when it comes to people who are kind to them, as well as people who are unkind to them.

@MythologyUnleashed Thanks for the recommendation! I had seen this video before, so what did I do? Watched it again, of course!
I would love to see more stories about Ravens and Crows.
Really love birds. Ravens one of my favourites. Thanks for sharing.☀️

I'm Celtic & Maori origin was recently shown the way by a Crow while out walking in nature I wasn't lost I was just walking 🤍
All animals are very intelligent in their own way. Much more than humans.
They have super powers to survive just as human does. Let us hope humanity is good. 🙏
I say please do Native American stories on the raven being part Cherokee I was surprised the raven mocker didn’t pop up

I suggest listening to Sir Christopher Lee’s narration of “The Raven”
Yes! Best narration of it!

I just love that a group of Crows and Ravens is called a 'Murder'.

Do an episode on The Morrigan. The Tri Goddess thing is pretty interesting. I almost named my dog Nemain after her.
A+ video!
LOVE IT! What an intriquing and mysterious video!
I’m here for the birds 🐦⬛Hopefully you have or will do more crow and raven episodes! 🖤🐦⬛
So insightful and enjoying. Thank you
Yes, I would love a whole video dedicated to Raven from the native american mythology.
Would love to see the Native American Raven full video. Thanks for all your wonderful and awesome content!!

x 11:44 I graduated junior high on May 13, 1994, which was both Friday The 13th and the release date of the movie The Crow.

this is awesome, could you do one on owls?
I'd love to see a video on owls in mythology, too! Perhaps even one on the roles of horses in mythology as well as I love both animals.
I too would love to see a video like that, Owls of Mythology and Folklore
Brilliant presentation of this lovely figure.🌹💜🌍
Just when I thought I couldn't appreciate this channel more, its owners show my eternal love (Brandon Lee)...🌙

The folklore implied by the movie the Crow probably would’ve been nice to see here if it wasn’t already

If the Ravens that live in the tower of London leave, the monarch will fall. Or so its said 😊
I got towards the end of the video and then a mention of Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven," for a minute there I was afraid it wouldn't come up. Phew! 😌

Speaking of crows and ravens, would like to see an episode on the tengu.
😊 This was a great story thanks 👍🙏
As long as ravens remain at the Tower of London the kingdom and the tower will never fall.
Right on time with this one 😅😉 not too fond of the remakes nowadays, but the original movie is a masterpiece imo. #TheCrow
Yes please my wife is of Shawnee heritage. Unfortunately she doesn't know much of the stories.
Crows & Ravens are neither good nor bad just following their own code?

Considering how often Ravens and Crows appear in Horror and Gothic Literature and Film, I can understand why people would think that way about Ravens.
Can you please also do a video on swans in mythology?
