Any gas blowback isn't going to perform in cold temperatures regardless of what gas. 10 degrees green gas taps out even neuprol 4. Tried it. CO2 maybe 5 degrees it's not much different. You wanna use a pistol in the cold you go non blowback. My Tokyo marui mk23 runs flawlessly on propane all winter. I'm canadian, our winters are cold. My marui works in minus 10 degrees weather. We don't play in any colder weather.
So mine was a batch one gun, now there are newer batches and I bet, like the SSG-24 there were tweaks to later batches, which improved or ironed out issues in Batch One guns. For example something he has just released is the new lighter slide and short stroke kit, which if I buy it I am like 80% sure will fix the short stroking problems I was having because the slide will be lighter and I'm assuming the short stroke kit will fix the spring tension on the nozzle going back to load a BB. This is what happened in the SSG-24 as time has gone on things have been tweaked and improved, I've got a batch 4/5 SSG-24, but I've seen Batch one and two SSG-24 and there are differences..
Your mag is quite strange, i also use co2 and i get 2 full mags with lock back function, with almost no recoil on the 2nd mags last 5 shots, but no issues at all, no light striking at about 2 Celsius(the coldest ive tested), have you tried to lube the slide or the nozzle housing? Edit: perhaps a stronger hammer sping would help?
First (I allways wanted to do this, sorry) Btw, thx for the review, i wanted to buy it, but now, i think i will just wait until Novritsch will fix all of this :/
The video have one dislike while writing this. We all know it's you Novritsch ;)

Some of the Green Gass magazines need some oiling to feed propperly so try that it fixed my issue with "miss loading" bbs.
You should maybe install the cutout slide because it will be easier for the gas to move
I actually did change the slide to the 'cutout' one, and tbh, it helped a little but it just couldn't out perform my upgraded TM Hi Capa.
never that those issues hope you sort it. mines been great
