    Carl, you have a very nice setup in your Range Rover for all of your gear, I am really impressed and also you made quite alot of nice contacts on this outing, and as always your cooking section was also very appetizing!

    Looks as though you surpassed your initial goal, tenacity works even when the bands don’t want to play. Great vid Carl 73 Mike

    I do like your food choices Carl. I indulge in making Indian inspired dishes as well, but seldom cook portable (though equipped to do so). Cheers.

    ….of course you were getting QSB……..it’s world bee day!! Thanks for the video. I noticed you’re taping your mast at each joint…..I would think you could get away with a simple twist of the joint as you’re extending it. I have a 12m and 10m spiderbeam and have never had to tape it as it’s never collapsed in any condition….73, John

      It’s muscle memory with taping each section 😃 If I can break that habit it’ll make the next morning much easier especially in winter

    Hi Carl, great video again leep them coming. I wondered if you could try to setup a scedule call on 40m next time you go out? Would be interesting to see how many of your followers you could work.

      Yes I was thinking of a live stream. The only issue with advertising a time is as soon as I tell people that I’ll be out and on the radio that something happens back at home and I have to bail out 🤷‍♂️

      @@M0SZT Maybe drop some of us a note/email then we can spot you and you can then record it? If that makes sence?

    Nice set up and contacts, the bands are pretty poor and the recent contest doesn't help.
    Just looking at your food, presume that was made up for a week hi.
    That would do me and the wife for a week.
    Wonder if you know what the song bird was whistling in the background.

      Sounds like a Curlew. One of my favourite birds, beautiful song but unfortunately on the red list.

      It was, I tend to try ideas out before cooking them again for the wife, this dish is very tasty and fresh with extra coriander cooked through at the last stage.

    That's a pretty bug tarp you have there! I think it's a 3x5m? I got a 3x5m one, used it once, but didn't use the car yet as an attachment point. I need to try that out. But your car is much higher than mine.

    • @M0SZT
      @M0SZT  Год назад +1

      It’s actually the 3x3 but the camera angle did the rest, it looks huge doesn’t it! 😃

      @@M0SZT yep, the camera shows it as if it was rectangular 😁
