I still say the OG M2 looks the best, but be that as it may. The new M2 is a done deal and we have to live with the styling. It's not awful and maybe we'll get used to it. Performance wise, it will be decent but holy cow! The weight is really eye opening. It's a heavy car now. Well, we are in the twilight of the gasoline era so maybe all of this doesn't really matter anymore.
Well at least the grill isn't the size of wembley stadium
BWM's best effort since the M5 CS. Love the looks. Better start saving.
why does it not have a grille on the side? it feels a bit weird not seeing a side grille on an m car
I look at myself like I pick up on things other people miss. I can't even believe I didn't notice there isn't one. Good eye picking up on that. I failed Lol.
Awesome video as always and like all I’m relieved by the final design ✌🏻😎
Thanks for your great review mate. Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!🙃
Looks ace, saw a new 220i last week in this colour and trim, looked incredible.
Wicked colour. Shame there’s no individual paints tho. Great review Joe. Mr BMW himself
I think the Toronto Red suits it rather well! How good would this look with some M-Performance (carbon) parts? The interior looks up to par as well, especially the carbon bucket seats. Maybe I should consider switching up my current M2…
😥
Oh boy I own an M2C myself and I've been waiting for this video for a long time!
Hope you enjoy it!
@@JoeAchilles1 I sure did!
What do you think of the new one? Also an m2c owner, i think this new one is better than i expected with those leaks, but still hoping f87 m2c values still go up 😅
@@kakashi11213 I like the looks, it's different but not bad. It looks very angular, like an angry muscle car. The technology is nice (HUD, displays, etc), the S58 in such a small car is awesome. I think it'll be a very popular car. But I still love my M2C more than anything, it's a very elegant car, which this new M2 isn't. I won't trade my M2C that's for sure!
For me looks better than the previous one, not sure if It Will be better or not in the track.
Another amazing Video Joe. Thanks for sharing
I wonder what the price difference is between a Z06 and an M2.
Current F87 M2C owner. This thing, while not as good looking as the car it's replaced, it certainly looks better (and better proportioned) than the M3/M4...with the same power train and a wealth of standard features that make it a bargain....why would anyone buy an M4 with this thing on the market???
I think its a good move that BMW made offering 5 color choices, all those quite sell to all tastes. Also when you see a Toronto red or a zandvoort blue BMW and hear that exhaust you know its an M2.
that kinda sets apart the new M model!
Front wings need some side detail or vents in them like old model
YEAH!!!!! Awesome information and I hope the option and pricing is the same from UK to US =) Great Video!
way too many people complaining about the design... Looks damn good to me
I have to agree with Joe's opening statement, the previous M2 is a better-looking car, but I do like the American muscle aesthetics, especially straight-on.
